12 Part 12

It was their day to rest, but Conch was too restless to stay home. He swims off leaving a note in Corals room and heads towards The Atlas area. He didn't understand why he felt the need to go there, but he wasn't going to leave this feeling bottled in his chest. This feeling of conflict and confusion. He still had the clam shell in his hand.

Back in Atlas, Zui was called by the king, Titan, lord of the northern sea. He sat in his throne before her as she approached him. His royal tenant stood by her side.

King Titan-

It seems after your safe return you have been wondering the waters that are unfamiliar to you. Why is this, young princess?

Zui-

I simply wish to find someone.

King Titan-

And who this person? And why do you not ask for company during your search?

Zui-

I have no need for company. This person has saved me many times and I only wish to thank them properly. Although, he has Proven to be difficult to find now.

King Titan-

I will ask again. Why do you not have company to aid in your search?

Zui-

I will say again. I do not wish for company, your majesty.

Royal tenant-

Sire, if I may. There seems to be word of tentapods swimming near the Bermuda and trench. What do you wish to do sir?

King Titan-

Leave them. They are of no concern here.

Royal tenant-

But, sire, the one seen is quite the unusual one. Described to have blue skin all around. And thickly built. His largest description is his resemblance to the ancient ones that lived in the underwater rivers long ago. I thought you would take interest in someone as strange as this.

King Titan-

Do you believe this may be an ancient being?

Royal tenant-

I believe nothing until I see it with my own eyes sire. Thus I ask permission to call forth a search.

King Titan-

.... Granted. Young princess? Where did she go?

Zui swims as fast as she can to the trenches. She knew who they were talking about, and she wanted to make sure she finds him first.
