6 Chapter 5: Growing Part 3

March 22nd, 18 B.N.B.

Uzushiogakure, Land of Whirlpool

Outside of Uzushiokage's Tower

Yoshima and his mother walked out of the Kage's tower as Yoshima pondered on what ways he could use water and lightning in combat. Feeling his mother pat his head, Yoshima glanced up at his mother.

"You know Yoshi, it is not unheard of for someone to be born having affinity to all five chakra, there are two that I know of in my family that were born like that. They even mastered them while young." Mitsui told him, as she glanced in the direction of their home.

"What family mother?"

She just glanced back at him and smiled. "Come, I'll race you back home!" She said as she disappeared from the spot she was on.

"Hey, no fair!" Yoshima used Body Flicker to try and catch up.

Same day,

At Ikeda's Residency

"You are so slow Yoshi! Are you sure you are my son?" Mitsui said while folding over with laughter, she had one hand in her stomach, and another patting his head.

"Well, if I was your age, I would have been to Konoha by the time you got here." Yoshima whispered.

Mitsui stopped laughing as she glanced at him, she had a smile that look more threatening than a lioness roaring. "Did you say something Yoshi?" She asked sweetly. Applying more and more pressure to her patting.

"N-no of course not mother, I just said I will try again next time, he, hehe." He said.

She turned serious, before saying. "Come, follow me Yoshi."

She moved just fast enough for him to keep track of.

They traveled north, to the back of their property, Yoshima had never been this way before. There was a small river that led to a beautiful waterfall, behind it stood a small hill.

They came to a stop on top of that hill. There was a small garden, well taken care of, adorn with flowers of all colors, and one statue of Tengu with a hand drawing a sword from his hip, and another holding a seal in front of it, as if daring anyone to get past him.

Behind it , were two simple headstones.

"They are my parents Yoshi." Mitsui said.

She grabbed his hand and lead him to a stop in front of the two headstones.

"Dad, this is your genius grandchild, he might master all five elemental type chakra, just like your uncles once did. He took after his father, Ikeda, but he has the strength of our family, and prefers training outside than staying indoors doodling all day. He does act like an old geezer at times, even as a child, he must have gotten that from you dad."

Glancing at the other headstone she continued. "Mom, i hope you are doing okay, I really miss you."

Yoshima saw his mother's eyes tearing up, his body moved on its own accord and hugged his mother from the side.

"Hello Grandpa, Grandma, it is nice to finally meet you both."

He glanced at both graves, reading the engraved names,

'Urayama Senju'

'Nishiyama Shimura'

Yoshima mouth was wide open, he couldn't believe his mother was of the Senju Clan, 'it all made sense now. Why she couldn't say it in the village, most of their members are dead, and many hate them. I know our clans intermarry, but to think his grandfather and his mother were both of the great noble clan, Senju.'

In the anime, Senju clan had three of its members become Hokage, and all the other Hokage have been part of a tree of student–teacher relationships that trace back to Hashirama.

Hearing his mother giggle, Yoshima turned to face her.

"Close your mouth Yoshi, you'll catch flies! Te-he." She said as she stuck out her tongue.

"You must have read about the clans your grandparents came from. Just remember, you can't let anyone know, it is not safe. Yoshi I am sorry, you will understand when you grow older." Mitsui told him as her tears slowly dropped.

Yoshima lifted his right arm, and wiped the tears from his mother. "I understand, Mom."

Mitsui had stopped crying, but hearing her son called her mom made her really happy, she started crying again.

"You called me mom!" She hugged Yoshima back. "Say it again, come one , say it again Yoshi!"

"I can't even breath! You are hugging to hard!"

April 19th 18 B.N.B. ,

Uzushiogakure, Land of Whirlpool

Training grounds, Ikeda's Residence

Yoshima has been working on Water Jutsus, and Lightning Jutsus, focusing on his strengths , as learning was a lot easier, since he left the Kage's tower almost a month ago.

"Water Style: Water Bullet!"

Water in the shape of a cone came out of Yoshima's mouth, tearing through a wooden dummy.

"It is still not strong enough." He mumbled , wiping the sweat from his brows. Water bullet was a creation of his, spitting out water in the shape of a bullet.

Focusing his chakra once more, this time he decided to try and compress the water as much as possible.

"Water Style: Compressed Water Bullet!"

The bullet made of water was so fast, he could barely keep track of it with his eyes. It disintigrated the wooden dummy in front of him as well as the few wooden post for training taijutsu behind it, crashing into the ground with still enough power to blow a hole the size of a soccerball.

Boom!

"Oh crap, mother is going to get angry if she sees that." He said as he scratched the back of his head.

His mother was worse than Lee when it came to training, but she took really good care of her training equipment , almost as much as she did him.

'Ah, I know' Yoshima performed a few handseals.

"Water Clone Jutsu!"

"You stay here and practice."

His clone just frowned at him, but nodded.

'I won't forget your sacrifice' Yoshima thought as he headed towards the waterfall, in the back of the property. He had used it many times this month to practice, being the perfect spot to practice not only water, but lightning release as well.

"Yoshima!!! What did you do!?" He heard his mother said, follow by a really loud BOOM!

He felt sweat rolling down his back as he moved as fast as he could. 'The water clone takes 10% of my total chakra, but it was well worth it.'

Arriving at the waterfall, Yoshima released a breath he did not know he was holding.

'Okay, time to practice, I really want to know the Water Transformation Jutsu.' He has been pondering for two weeks how to go about it. Having no luck, going as far as spending more than a day sitting under the waterfall. He had mastered the regular Transformation Jutsu.

'I must be overthinking things, it has to be something easier. It has to be similar to a regular transformation jutsu, but instead of transforming into an item, animal, or person, I have to transform every cell in my body to water.'

'Ugh, even that sounds overly complicated. Water Style: Hidden in Water Jutsu, creates a temporary space, and allows the user to hide into something as small as a puddle. But you don't have to know how to create a space to do it, it is just gathering chakra the right way with the right mix.'

This must be the six thousand time he would try to perform Water Style: Hidden in Water Jutsu, but without knowing the hand seals, he must use chakra control to the best of his abilities.

Gathering chakra to every part of his body, he first converted it all to water elemental chakra.

Yoshima tried to convert his right index finger first, focusing his Mind's Eye on everything that makes up his finger. His nail, his bones, tendons, nerves, veins, skin layers, blood, and chakra pathways. Focusing now on shape manipulation, having water replace everything in his finger.

Slowly, he finally had success. 'Yes! Oh crap, focus, no time to celebrate, I almost lost my finger there!'

"Well it worked, now, to test it"

Yoshima pulled a kunai from one of his pockets, not even hesitating to slash his finger in half.

Half off it separated, but as soon as the kunai passed through, the other half of the finger reattached itself to the hand.

"It works!! But having to keep providing chakra, and concentrating on its form is difficult, and will require more training."

Yoshima sighed, yet another thing to add to his daily training.

"Now unto lightning release."

"I wish I had shadow clone jutsu, it would help make this go faster, but I understand it places a toll on the mind, as you feel every death, no wonder Naruto, in the anime, releases every clone the moment it is barely tapped. I still don't see how he can take so the toll of so many clones at once."

Yoshima sighed once more. Performing a set of hand seals.

"Water Clone Jutsu!"

"You, just stand right there." He told his water clone.

Giving Yoshima a skeptical nod, the clone stood in the same spot.

Lightning jutsus came much easier to him, he doesn't know if it is because he knows about the chemistry of lightning, or he just likes it more, he had even created a couple, as opposed to just two original water jutsus.

"Lightning Release: Lightning Palm!" Lightning chakra gather in a thin layer around his palm, crackling around it.

He appeared next to his clone and hit him in the chest. The force was strong enough to propel clone to the earth wall, splitting the waterfall in half. The clone had a hole where his chest was, the surrounding area was burnt to a crisp.

Puff! The clone returned to water, as it slowly traveled down the earth wall, as the waterfall resumed its normal flow.

'I already spent close to forty percent of my chakra, I should just get back home and practice on my project.'

Yoshima has been working on his secret project for the past year, having finally had a breakthrough not too long ago.

Rushing home, he headed to his workshop in the third floor.

Performing the necessary hand seals, he unlocked the seal on the door.

He quickly sealed it back up before heading to one of the twelve tables there. In it, was a metal item similar to a modern weapon, except that it had a few seals ingrained on it.

He figured out how to counter the chakra output, as well as creating the bullets it needed . They focused on maximum damage, having the form of a miniature kunai with an explosive seal on it. To launch the bullets, he had come up with a way to launch it using generated air, gather with another seal.

Yoshima has planned to have another seal to set how much air was gather. As well as a way to seal the weapon in his arm, making it invisible and a way to attack unexpectedly. But he had no idea how to go about it, having only reached Journeyman in Seals on March. He could only perform seals up to level three seals, maybe even four if he strained himself.

Seal attainment was classified as apprentice, journeyman, advanced journeyman, master, and grandmaster. Apprentice meant you had passed the seals test to perform level one seals. Journeyman included level two and three seals test. Advanced journeyman included passing the test for levels four and five. Master had levels seven and eight, while Grandmaster had levels nine and ten.

What he needed to do now, was figure out a way to create a smaller, and compressed chakra battery to attach on the bottom of the UZ1, as he decided on calling the weapon.

'I'll take this to my father and have him give me his opinion as well as his help, as this is for Uzushiogakure, and not me.'

Yoshima had many failed experiments, but he didn't wanted to show the ideas without a demonstration, as they could be perceive as less than they were, or because they have not been used before, maybe even abandoned.

Knocking on his office, in the right wing, Yoshima brought his UZ1 with him, as well as two magazine seals he had come up with.

"Come in Yoshima." His father's calm voice came from the other side of the door.

Yoshima headed inside, his father was working on a few seals, spread around his table.

His father glanced up, looking at what Yoshima carried with him, even if it was something he had never seen, he could tell it appeared dangerous. Raising one eye-brow, Ikeda glanced at his son.

"Father, before I tell you what this is, I have to tell you something else."

"Uzushiogakure will be destroyed."
