"This is unacceptable." Grayfia frowned at me after hearing about the recent events, "Katarea is a member of the Old Satan Faction. She could be deceiving you and would betray at any given opportunity."

"You do know that I am here, right?" Katarea gave a dumb stare to Sirzechs' maid while eating her lunch.

"I don't want to sound rude, but what Grayfia-san is saying makes sense, Alex." Irina looked at me with a troubled expression, "I don't think you should trust the enemy right away."

"I am as good as dead to the Old Satan Faction, so what's the point?" Katarea snorted in response and grabbed everyone's attention, "There's a reason Alexander has accepted me as his Servant. And to prove my loyalty, I have kissed his feet."

She turned back to me with a serious expression, "Your father needs my help, because there are several people rising in rebellion against the Peace Treaty signed by the Three Factions."

"That would be the Clans that are secretly supporting the Old Satan Faction." Katarea stated and instantly grabbed Grayfia's attention.

"Can you tell us about them?" Grayfia asked politely.

"I won't be coming to the Underworld." Katarea answered firmly, "And in exchange, I want you to inform Sirzechs about handing me over the Leviathan Mansion and Lands that were captured by the New Satan Faction during the War. If I am not wrong, they are currently in the possession of Agares and Belphegor Clan members."

"I will inform him, but I can't guarantee you that you'll be getting them back." Grayfia replied, "As the situations are now, we can't afford to offend the Clans that are supporting us."

"I can understand." Katarea snorted in response, "Let's continue this conversation after Lunch."

Grayfia nodded in agreement and looked at me, "What are you going to do while I am gone?"

Irina snatched away Ophis from my lap and I shrugged in response, "Exams are on the head, so I am going to study a little." Emphasis on the word little.

"That's acceptable." Grayfia nodded in acknowledgment and got up from the table after finishing her lunch. Katarea did the same and they went to the Living room to discuss thier further Political secrets of the Underworld.

"By the way, I saw that Rias had messaged you something." Irina informed me as Xenovia and her placed their empty plates in the sink, "I didn't read the messages, because I don't know what you would reply."

"I'll read it once I am done." I replied with a nod.

"You'll get fat." Xenovia commented when she saw the amount of food before me, "How do you handle so much calories?" She frowned thoughtfully.

"Exercise." I answered with a cheeky grin.

Xenovia gave me a blank stare and then went towards the living room. She was curious to know how the politics in the Underworld worked.

"Let me stay." Ophis stated when Irina tried to pick her off the seat, "I want to talk with Alex in private."

"Is that so?" Irina shot me an envious look, "Alright." She smiled at Ophis and went after Xenovia to the living room.

"So." I looked at Ophis once we were alone in the kitchen, "What is it?"

"Vali." Ophis replied, "He's angry that I didn't let him fight you."

"So?" I raised an eyebrow at her and dragged the last plate on the table towards me.

"He still wants to fight you, because he thinks I am protecting you." Ophis replied with a nod, "He's stubborn when he wants to fight."

"What about the other two, who were they?" I asked curiously.

"Bikou and Arthur." Ophis nodded, "They are part of the Vali's group. There's also Kuroka who wants to meet you."

"Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have much time today." I stated as I looked at the message Rias has sent me, "The Gremory has called me to the Occult Research Club this evening for some reason."

"Is she more important than me?" Ophis gave me an curious stare.

"As if." I snorted in response and picked up all the empty plates from the table, before putting them in the sink. I utilised the multitask Chore spell and left the dishes to get washed by themselves.

"My afternoon is free." I stated by approaching Ophis and picked her up in my arms, "Is this a good time?"

"Hm." Ophis nodded with a light blush and pecked on my cheeks.

"Ophis." Irina got up from the couch and rushed towards me with an enraged look, "Is it true that you're making them stronger?" I had never seen Irina so serious before and I was astonished by her courage, because the target of her rage was Ophis.

"They are bad people, Ophis." Irina held her index out and reprimanded the girl, "Bad people hurt good people and destroy a lot of good things."

Xenovia sighed while looking at us, while Katarea and Grayfia were clearly astounded by Irina's outburst at the Infinity Dragon.

"B-But.." Ophis helplessly looked at me for assistance.

"She's right, Ophis." I stated with a blatant shrug, "You are giving your powers to the wrong people, because they are going to misuse that power to hurt the innocents."

"You're not going back to the Khaos Brigade or whatever that nonsense is." Irina declared seriously and snatched Ophis from my arms, "Honestly, you worry me a lot." She groaned and took Ophis to the couch.

"Well, that's that." I sighed and sat next to Grayfia on the couch, "It seems your work load has increased."

"I am going to be alright." I assured her by looking up to her face with a bright smile, "Go get those assholes."

"Language." Grayfia scowled at me and lightly pinched my cheeks as punishment, "I am worried about how Ajuka is going to react, because Diodara Astaroth is one of the traitors."

"He's been cooperating with Shalba Beelzebub to become the next Maou." Katarea nodded towards me, "He's a weakling who is corrupted to his core."

"He would be executed." Grayfia assured the Knight with a stern nod, "We'll save the nuns from his control, I promise you."

I looked up at Grayfia to hear her response, "She can use some training with her Durandal and I can trust you with her safety." I reasoned, "Not only that." I snapped my fingers and secretly created a limitless barrier around Xenovia, "Not to mention, if anything happens, I'll know."

"What about you, Irina?" Grayfia looked at my second Knight, "Would you want to come as well?"

"I want to." Irina admitted with a concerned expression, "I am worried that Ophis might.." She meaningfully looked at the girl sitting on her lap.

"I won't assist the Khaos Brigade." Ophis nodded at Irina in assurance, "But I want to go watch movies when you come back."

"We didn't know that!" Irina's face brightened up in excitement since she was always the fashion geek, "Ophis." She rushed to the little girl first, who was quietly staring at my face with a blank expression.

"Baka Carrot." Ophis looked back at Irina by breaking off the stare, "Be careful."

"Don't worry, I have Ascalon to protect me!" Irina assured with a cheerful smile and summoned the Holy Dragon Slayer sword to show it off to Ophis.

When Irina showed the sword to Ophis, nobody in the room noticed, but I saw Ophis sneak one of her Infinity snakes into the sword. I realised that she must be paranoid about Irina's safety, similar to how I cared about them.

Irina pecked several kisses on Ophis' cheeks and went to the teleportation circle to join Xenovia and Grayfia.

"Don't worry about us and focus on your exams." Grayfia stated by giving me a firm look.

"And what if I ace the test?" I asked with a cheeky grin, "Do I get some kind of reward?"

"Y-You do." Grayfia nodded in response with a shy expression, "Katarea." She turned to the Devil with the serious scowl, "Watching over Alexander is your responsibility now." She had started to trust the Leviathan a little more.

"To the best of my capabilities." Katarea stood up and nodded in assurance.

Irina and Xenovia bid farewell to me for the one last time, before they teleported to the Underworld with Grayfia. And after they were gone, I realised how quiet the house had become.

I exhaled a heavy breath and sat next to Ophis on the couch, "I guess I won't be able to visit Vali's group today, Ophis." I stated by caressing her hair with my fingers.

"They can wait." Ophis nodded in acknowledgment.

"Why do you want to meet Vali's group?" Katarea asked me curiously and looked at Ophis, "And are you really abandoning Khaos Brigade?"

"I am." Ophis nodded in confirmation and lazily rested her head on my lap, "I have no interest in what those morons do, because they are soon going to die anyways."

"I guess that's true." Katarea nodded and sighed in relief, "But I don't think your absence is going to change things that much, Ophis-sama."

Ophis curiously raised an eyebrow at Katarea.

"You think you are the leader of the organisation you created, but there were others who make plans and give orders from your shadow." Katarea explained, "With your absence, these people would sooner or later reveal themselves."

"I will go inform Vali and the others about my decision." Ophis nodded at Katarea and looked up at me, "I'll be gone for a while as well." She needed to clean things up a little.
