129 The Farewell That Can't Be Delayed

The darkness of the night was at its peak and the gentle wind blew the curtains from the open window.

By this time of the night, everywhere was quiet and not a single soul was awake but in the Princess's room was a different case.

His blazing eyes glowed against the dark glow of the room as they were set on the beauty laying in his arms.

Her chest went up and down as her rhythmic breaths filled the silent room. Her lips were apart slightly and her beautiful jade-green eyes had been put to rest.

He wished he could watch her sleep for the whole night long. 

How can someone be so breathtaking while sleeping? He wondered.

He would occasionally bring his fingers to take out the few strands of hair that fell to her face so they wouldn't obstruct his view.

The way she fit perfectly into his arms made him swoon over her. Her tiny palm compared to his was wrapped around her torso as though she was scared he would run away from her.
