15 Her Longing For A Certain Werewolf

When Tashina opened her eyes, she expected to see something but what she didn't expect was the sudden disappearance of her saviour who left without a single word being said nor a single sound being made.

The long, fine lashes fluttered as she opened her jade-green eyes, she turned to the right and saw the other side of the bed, messed up like someone had just stood up from it.

She put her hand to feel the spot which was next to her and it was still warm, meaning that the person had left not too long ago.

She sat up straight and rubbed her drooping eyes as she yawned loudly while stretching her exhausted limbs, she hated when she was injured because she could never risk doing her usual morning workouts which helped her start her day with relaxed and stretched muscles.

The Princess removed the white duvet and dropped her bare foot on the bare floor, the cold sipping through her bones. She slowly stood up with wobbling legs and went to the sink so she could wash her face and brush her teeth.

When she took a look at the mirror, she nearly screamed at the horror she witnessed. Her dirty red locks were all over her face and standing in every possible and impossible direction which made her look like she has been struck by lightning.

The dark circles under eyes could be as big as an orange and they were almost on her cheeks. The most shocking of them all was her skin, not being able to have a proper bath for some days has left her before pale and beautiful skin in a now ugly and horrifying state.

It was dry, dull and devastating, she used the soap to scrub some of the dirt patches away but it just made her skin red and she started to resemble a fresh ripe tomato.

She wondered how Mr. Xavier could stand the sight of her when even she herself felt disgusted with her look. He was always kind and caring and never showed any form of negativity towards her.

He seemed to be the first male to impress her. The other males who tried to get her attention have failed countlessly, especially Master Kelv but the werewolf that saved her, seems to be an exception.

How would she face him again after he must have seen her in the most ugliest state ever? Just because she liked almost everything a male did, that doesn't mean the princess wasn't self-conscious about her looks just like any other Vampiress.

She meekly walked back to the bed and sat on the edge. Her eager eyes searched for any notes he must have left for her so she wouldn't be so worried.

Her hands roamed over the nightstand and the drawers but she didn't find anything which made her sulk in disappointment.

She wondered where he went to. Did he go to buy groceries for breakfast or has he abandoned her?

Her heart constrict at the thought of Mr. Xavier abandoning her, she tried to get it off her mind but the devil dropped it things and sat comfortably on her head so he could enjoy watching her suffer.

Thinking about it, it only seemed to be the most reasonable thing for a werewolf to do. Yes, he was nice enough to save her and take care of her but that didn't mean he was responsible for her.

Maybe because of the way she was feeling a little better yesterday, he thought it was time for him to leave.

Tears brimmed her eyes as her thoughts were almost about to strangle her.

She didn't even know him but yet her heart was about to collapse on the thought of never seeing him again.

When a tear finally fell, she wiped it even before it got to see the light.

"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! You are not going to cry over someone who left you. I am Tashina, the princess and general of South-Mairak Kingdom. I will not waste any tears on a male" she scolded herself out loud.

"He did what he had to do and now he is gone so you are going to heal and go on a mission to find that bastardized Alpha and.. and.. and.." she bit her lower lip to hold down a sob that was about to explode from her chest.

Tashina couldn't understand why her heart ached so much for Mr. Xavier. She only knew him for a day and half and it's not like something extraordinary really happened between them.

So why does she feels like the world is going to end without him by her side? Why is it so hard to breathe without him? Why? Why? Why?

The rampant, violent questions made her fall on floor and clutch her head aggressively as tears spilled from her eyes. She shook her head continuously as more tears threatened to spill from her beautiful jade-green eyes.

Unable to hold her rage in anymore, she threw anything she could see on the floor, when she threw a nearby vase, some shards of glass pierced her feet but she didn't feel any pain.

The pain that was deeply rooted in her heart was enough to ameliorate any other pain In her body. She wished she could hear his voice again in her head to calm her head down.

Wait!

The Mind Link!!

She stopped as she remembered they could communicate through their mind. She quickly calmed her breaths, closed her eyes and tried to reach out for him.

'Please talk to me! Wherever you are!'

'Please tell me you didn't leave me. I need to know you are coming back'

She pushed and pushed and as she was about to get a signal from him, Her exhausted body collapsed and she fell on the floor with a thud.

If too much energy is put into the mindlink, it sucks your energy and if you aren't careful, you will collapse from exhaustion especially when you are in a state of healing.

A little piece of information our princess wasn't aware of. I wonder what her Alpha would be doing now?
