In the courtroom, Xavier, Ren, and Chivia stood after the vampire siblings had left.

Xavier was still thinking about what Tashina had said to him before she left.

I wouldn't bear seeing a scratch on you now.

Xavier wasn't an expert in love confessions but that did sound like she was starting to fall for him and he couldn't help but smile.

Finally, she was starting to soften towards him.

Maybe this is all thanks to Talon. He made mental note to give Talon a huge treat.

"So, that's Tashina's brother? I should say, they both are so courageous" Chivia broke the silence.

"Yeah, he literally jumped into the fire to save her" Ren agreed.

"What are you smiling all about, big guy?" Chivia hit Xavier's arm and he snapped back to reality.

"Nothing" the Alpha shook his head.

"But Xavier, what do we do about Tashina? The Pack was already raging with one vampire, with two, we wouldn't be surprised if they begin a riot" Ren said.
