4 Chapter 4

(Third Person POV)

It's been 3 hours since Ryo has awaken his quirk and collapsed on the floor. After Ryo passed out, Aika and Jin quickly rushed to the hospital. They were hoping that is was his quirk being manifested. They would be pretty depressed if Ryo has a weak heart like his mother.

The doctor told them it was quirk. They were relived when it was his quirk manifesting.

(Ryo POV)

Opening my eyes, I immediately knew I was at the hospital. You can tell your at the hospital with standard smell that all hospital has. Sitting up on the bed, I began to stretch my body, only for me to notice something.

I felt wonderful!

My body feels so energized. I feel like I have so much power compared to yesterday. I can assume my shadow powers have awakened. This is great. Is this what it feels like to have powers? I could get use to this.

I was a nobody in my past life, so this is a major improvement. I'm pretty sure that everyone have dreamt of having superpowers.

"Oh, you're awake. We will inform your parents right away" said the doctor as he left the room.

I just sighed and wondered how long was I out. They must have been pretty worried about my collapse. Especially Momo. I'm 100% sure I heard crying before I blacked out. I laid back down on the bed to wait for Momo, Aika, and Jin. I didn't have to wait that long because 2 minutes later, I hear the door opening and I see a small figure running inside.

"Brother!" Momo shouted as she ran towards me. She has tears in her eyes as she ran towards with a happy expression on her face.

Holding onto her as she hugged me, I said with a smile "I'm fine Momo you can stop shedding tears."

"You gave us a good scare there" Jin said with a laugh as he walked in with Aika and patted my shoulder. He didn't look to worried and I could only guess that it was because the doctor told them I was fine.

"Are you sure your okay Ryo? You seemed to be in so much pain" Aika asked, as she was still worried about me, unlike her husband. Although the doctor told them that I was fine, she wants to confirm it by hearing it from me.

"I'm ok Mom, I finally awakened my quirk" I said with genuine smile.

(Third Person POV)

As the doctor who was taking care of Ryo came in, he was greeted to the sight of the parents and their daughter looking at his patient with awestruck. He was confused until he saw Ryo activating his quick which his eyes become dark blue. He was starting to wonder what does his quirk do. Ryo was starting to mutter to himself. The doctor, Aika, Jin, and Momo was looking at Ryo muttering some words. Ryo asked the doctor if he could try something and the doctor said go ahead.

"Alright Let's try this. Shadow Stand" Ryo said. And as he said his shadow took a physical form. This surprised everyone in the room especially the doctor because he was confused on how Ryo have a quirk that wasnt even close to his parents. His

parents explained to him that Ryo was adopted. "Now Shadow Fall" Ryo said. As he said that, his shadow called down.

To him and everyone else, Ryo looked like their biological son even with the bags under his eyes. If someone were to say that they were siblings to another person that never met Ryo or Momo or that they were close, would definitely believe it.

"Is he fine to leave" Aika asked with a concerned tone. Even though the doctor and even Ryo himself confirmed that he was completely fine.

"Yes, he's all good to go, but he'll have to name his quirks before he leave and give us a description on what his quirk does and how it works" the doctor said with a smile as looked at Ryo who eyes were back to black.

Ryo didn't have no problems on figuring out the names of his quirk.

"For my quirk, I will name it Shadow Manipulation. From what I've seen, it gives the power to manipulate shadows to how I see fit" Ryo said. Of course he knew the full extent of what his quirk can do, but he doesn't want to say the full description of his abilities. He was no fool.

Well even if he did, it's not like they can stop him or try to lock him up. He was backed by the Yaoyorozu family after all, but he decided to be careful.

He'll have to train hard and be strong to the point where no villains would ever think of attacking him and his family. After finishing the description, he and his family went back home where he planned to train for the upcoming years.
