1 Technoversity

In the first day of August Cal was passing by the rocky road. The wind suddenly blows her long brownish hair which make her stop for a bit to rest.

Her grey eyes are very cold and sad as she watch her reflection at her small mirror. Her nose is pointed and cute,cheeks were tinted pink and her lips are perfectly small. She sighed as she remembered those people who maltreated her.

She was kicked out from her previous school because of her ability to see the deep identity of a person. She got called by her classmates as "Aku no" which means evil in japanese.

They bullied her, pulled pranks, and humiliate her infront of everyone.

Even thou everyone has treated her badly; she has an unknown lifesaver to the rescue in times of difficulties. She never had the chance to know who her hero.

Cal was suddenly got back to reality when someone flicked her nose. The intruder was a young man in front of her wearing a black hood and a pair of sunglasses.

"Are you done checking me out?" The stranger suddenly spoke with irritation in his voice.

Cal raised her brows and spoke. "Excuse me?"

The man rolled his eyes at her and walked away.

"What a jerk." Cal mumbled.

She continued to walk in her destination; Cal received a letter two days ago. The letter inside was an invitation from a prestigious school which is called Technoversity.

Her grandma encouraged her to study at Technoversity knowing her situation in her previous schools a mere human could never understand her ability. Cal decided to enroll in the said school to try if she would finally be welcome as a normal person.

She noticed some students wearing a Techno uniform and thought. "I must be near the school."

A young boy was running and shouted at her. "Watch out!"

But it was already too late for her to moved away.

A pile of papers hit her face good thing she was wearing a mask it doesn't hit her cheeks.

"I'm so sorry, I'm indeed too clumsy. Are you alright?" The boy asked.

"I'm fine." Cal replied shortly rubbing her forehead.

"Here, let me pull you up." The boy offers his hand to make her stand.

"Thank you." Cal stood up.

"Are you also a new student here? I'm Peach Jang and you are?" Peach smiled at her offering a handshake.

It was a first time for Cal that someone was friendly at her, she was about to accept it but suddenly turned cold. It is always like that in the beginning, in the end this boy will also turn his back at her.

She stared at his eyes and read him.

(Imitation) the voice inside her informed.

"You are looking at me weirdly noona." Peach said and giggles.

"Cal, I'm a new student here." Cal replied.

"Are you also on the way to the Campus?" Peach asked.

"Yeah." Cal answered.

"Let me walk you in the university noona." Peach replied happily.

Peach seems like a very polite and kind generous kid, he looks adorable in every angle which makes him more charming not to mention his appearance indeed good looking.

They finally arrived at the gate and peach continued to accompany her.

As they got inside she notice some were looking at them and pointing at Peach.

"Why is she with him that kid was a real fake."

"Yeah, very annoying than the fools."

She catch some glimpse at peach trembling in fear and looked humiliated. It reminded her when she got bullied at her previous school.

"Ignore them, normies are always like that." Cal said.

"Normies are actually normal people." She added.

Peach look at Cal in disbelief. "You don't believe them?"

"Yeah." Cal replied and facing him with a pleasing look.

She saw a sign of relief in Peach's face smiling happily in front of her.

They finally arrived at the Head's office.

"Noona I'll just leave you here, knock the door twice and it will open."

Peach waved goodbye and left Cal at the door.

She knocks the door twice and it really did open, the figure she saw at the chair was the hoodie man he encountered earlier.

"You-" she was immediately interrupted.

"Tss. You need to sing first to be an official student here in Technoversity." The stranger said in a sluggish voice.

"You must be kidding me." Cal frowned.

"Time is ticking." He reminded.

Cal doesn't have a choice so she decided to sing Just so you know by Jesse Mcartney.

As soon as Cal finished singing a woman opened the door and clapped her hands in amusement.

"Bravo! What a lovely voice you have." The woman who just arrived exclaimed.

Confusion was written in Cal's face she immediately turned around to look for the stranger but he is no longer to be found.

"Thank you it was suggested by the Headmaster earlier due to rules here in school but he suddenly vanished like a bubble." Cal said in confusion.

"Pardon me darling, I'm the Headmistress her you must have mistaken me from somebody else." The woman smiled.

Cal realized that the stranger pulled some prank towards her.

"I'm sincerely apologize Headmistress; I'm just new her I didn't know forgive my ignorance." Cal replied lowering her head.

"What a ladylike tone apology accepted you can have a sit Ms. Vienne and let me discuss the rules and regulations here. My name is Amelia Von Alexander the headmistress here in Technoversity." Amelia explained.

Cal was also curious why this prestigious school looking for someone like her.

"I know who you are Ms. Vienne, your ability is very valuable to us. You'll be part of the Rare Sect. now listen well the only rule here is no using of ability unless your professors told you or in case of emergency. Everyone is free to do whatever they want no one is stopping, besides the lessons for all students is already scheduled and monitored. We won't be strict with that as long as you passed the exams and have good grades. Here is your ID and a booklet you can use the id in transportations or door opening. I do hope you'll survive here in Technoversity Ms. Vienne." Amelia stared at her with a meaningful look.

Cal was too tired to ask so she decided to say her tahanks and waved goodbye to the headmistress.

She proceed to her dorm, the place was a brick palace which makes her gull after seeing it.

When she got inside, the place was so marvelous which makes her looks like a beggar with the outfit she wears.

The victorian era maroon curtains were gracefully seet at every window.

The luxurious nude sofa was perfectly place at the waiting area with a cute round ottoman matching the sofa's color.

The grand staircase was shown looking gorgeous for every royalty when walking downstairs with its alluring red carpet. Those sparkling crystal chandeliers were seen at the ceiling paired by buttermilk walls.

Cal was enchanted by the surroundings which makes the other students think how ignorant she was.

"Look at that beggar this might be her first time seeing luxury stuffs." A short haired girl whisphered out loud.

"Yeah, how embarassing she keeps on roaming around like an idiot." The other student agreed.

The others also start gossiping about Cal and making fun at her back.

Cal automatically stopped roaming around and ignores the disgusted stares of other students at her.

She proceeds at the front desk to ask her room number. A beautiful woman suddenly approached her with a sweet smile.

"You must be new here?" The woman asked.

Cal stared at her for a moment and reads her mind.

(Wolf shamman) her inner voice informed.

Cal notice a red aura around her which doesn't look a good sign.

"Yes." Cal replied coldly at her.

The woman in front was displeased with her reaction.

"Do you know who I am? I am being kind to you and you are actually giving me a cold shoulder." Irene look pissed while looking at Cal.

"I didn't ask for your help." Cal answered ignoring her.

Someone grab her at the wrist and spoke beside her.

"There you are cousin I've been looking for you everywhere." Mori said with a just-ride-my-alibi look to Cal.

"She's your cousin? No wonder you guys are looking losers." Irene left glaring at Cal.

When Irene left, Cal immediately removed Mori's hand.

Mori grabbed her wrist again and run into the elevator dragging her in shock. The door opened at the 6th floor and Mori was dragging her again out of the elevator and stopped at the only door in the floor.

"Just show your ID in this scanner so that you can get in." Mori said.

Cal was still confused and anxious by the strange lady beside her but does what she instructed. The door opened and showed an aesthetic feeling at the living room. Fresh scents of flowers could be smelled around the area.

"I'm really sorry for dragging you around. My name is Mori Tashima your roommate." Mori smiled at her.

"It's fine, but I don't think you would like to be friends with me." Cal said in a serious tone.

"Why not? I'm also one of the rare's so no need to freak out or scared just because we are different from normal people. I understand what you feel no need to push yourself." Mori explained looking at Cal.

"Thanks." Cal sighed in relief.

The red haired lady got in holding some baggage's stopped walking and looks at the two people sitting at the sofa.

"Bonjour, Chynna Williams is my name." The new arrival said.

Mori smiled at Chynna and spoke. "Hello Chynna, mine is Mori Tashima and this girl beside me just call her blue."

Cal showed a poker face and spoke. "Cal."

"Nice meeting you all, I love your blue ribbon but your put outfit looks tacky." Chynna said innocently.

Mori laughed so hard about how straightforward was Chynna.

Cal looks at her black big jacket which is her Grandma's and a black long pants.

"I think it looks fine to me." Cal said and stared at them.

(Aura seer and a witch) her inner voice informed.

The two of them stopped laughing when they notice Cal was looking at them weirdly.

"Cal are you okay?" Mori asked.

"I'm fine." Cal replied.

They decided to go in there room it has 3 doors the first one was Cal's, next was Mori's room and the last one was Chynna's room. They got inside into Cal's room and look around.

"Cal your bed is so gothic." Mori exclaimed pointing at the black stuffs around her.

"Are you also one of the Dark realms like me?" Chynna asked.

"No." Cal replied shortly.

Mori stands up and asked Chynna about the stuffs she brought.

"Oh those are make ups and stuffs; we never know it might be useful." Chynna give them a meaningful look.

Mori clapped her hands on excitement and ran into Chynna.

"How about we check our walk-in closets." Mori said happily.

Before Cal could say no she was dragged again by her two evil roommates.

"Kawaii." Cal suddenly spoke while looking at the black keychain cotton doll with button eyes.

Mori and Chynna immediately look at what Cal was praising.

"From Mr. unknown? Do you have a secret admirer Cal?" Mori asked.

"No idea." Cal replied and opened her closet it was full of black outfits and a set of black uniforms.

"Your outfits are lame, look at mine it's so colorful and lively." Chynna pouted at Cal.

Mori laughed. "Mine is all mint and classy."

"We have nothing to do right? Tomorrow will be our scheduled class we might as well savor this moment to tour around." Mori suggested pleading at Cal.

"Let's take a bath first and change." Cal said and left them.

The two of them jumped in joy like kids, Cal smiled hearing how funny her two roommates.

Cal thought everything will be quiet when she finally agreed but the two villains were harasssing her again. Mori fixes her hair into Dutch braid while Chynna was fixing her brownish yellow off shoulder the sleeves were loose styled. The dress hugs her curves and showed her tall figure match with a 3inch stiletto.

"Do I look like I have a date?" Cal said with a frowned face.

"Nope but you'll look like a maid if you don't fix yourself they'll bully you so no more buts let's go chop! chop!" Chynna said.

The two of them was dissapointed to see Cal wearing a mask.

"Remove that now." Chynna said in a murderous voice.

"I won't-

"Done!" Mori removed the mask and look at Chynna's direction looking stunned.

"What's wrong?" Mori faced Cal and got herself speechless.

"Cut it out guys." Cal said.

Chynna gasped and manage to speak. "Holy cheese and sprinkles, Tu es si belle." 

"Yeppuda." Mori added.

Cal felt akward the way they react at her appearance.

"I'll just go change then-

"No!" The two of they yelled.

They grab Cal out of the palace dorm so that she will no longer can cut them off.

Cal doesn't have a choice and lowered her head to avoid being seen in public. Other students started to notice her but she ignored them and continued to bow his head, without knowing the duo already walked fast out of excitement leaving her behind.

She suddenly bumped with someone who was so furious and shouted with anger.

"What the hell are you dumb blind?" The guy shouted.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-

Cal was cut off by the splash of water in her head.

"You slut how dare you try to flirt with my Rum!" The puppet faced woman shouted.

Cal grips her fist with anger and didn't utter a word. She heard a man's voice at her back and covered her with a jacket.

"Found you, I've been looking for you everywhere." The man said in a loving voice.

Cal raised ber head to see the man behind him. His hair was noved by the wind which makes him look cool; eyes were similar to the color of the ocean. His smile was so cute showing the dimples in his cheeks.

His nose was perfectly sculpted by the great gods. He is very gorgeous a perfect male human created on earth.

"Is there a problem here?" Ash asked.

The two people in front of her snapped to reality.

"Do you know her? She just flirted with rum look at him all wet because of that bitch!" Rix exclaimed glaring at Cal.

"Are you trying to offend me with my girlfriend?" Ash replied changing his eye color to pure black.

Rum have no idea with the man and interrupted Rix.

"Keep an eye with your woman." He grinned while staring at Cal's figure.

Ash was displeased with Rum's words and grabbed his collar looking at him in the eye and smirked.

Rix falls from the ground holding her neck like someone was choking her. Cal's eyes widened looking at risk gasping for air.

"Leave Rix alone!" Rum shouted in anger strugling from Ash.

"No." Ash smiled.

Rix was already coughing so hard while her lips are turning violet.

Cal holds on Ash's shirt and begged him to stop which makes him loose his grip from rum.

"Par-d-don h-his i-ign-norace Lord Ash." Rix said even thou she was still coughing so hard.

Cal ignored them and took Ash away.

"Wear my jacket properly." Ash said coldly.

Ash held her hands and walked to an unknown path.

"Where are we going?" Cal said realizing the guy he's with was still a stranger and the encounters she had experience with him at the Head's office made her angry.

"My place." Ash replied.
