Jun Jie noticed Ai Nian or rather Airi falling to the ground when he rushed forth to prevent her fall. He grabbed her by her shoulders and let her clumsy body lean onto him, supporting her with his arms. He sat on the ground supporting her weightlessly fragile frame.

A panicky Mio'er too hurried over to where his Mistress lay. He wasn't happy seeing his Mistress in a certain someone's arms but he was relieved to have him react faster than him to save her.

He certainly wouldn't want his precious Mistress to get hurt!

"Ah, Mistress?... What do I do?! " Mio'er panicked muttering nonstop.

" Cut it out will ya! She is fine. She will regain her consciousness soon! "Jun Jie whisper snapped at the little guy. He didn't want to disturb his beloved nor would he let others too!

Mio'er knew this guy, no matter how shamelessly arrogant he might be, he would never take any chances regarding his Mistress's health and so he kept his silence.

Ah, forget it! Mistress is more important here.

And soon enough, Mio'er noticed movements in the Immortal Lord's arms and realized his Mistress had gained her consciousness back and would wake up anytime soon.

He managed to bring in some water from out of his little space for his Mistress to drink.

Airi upon waking up felt someone hugging her gently. She looked up only to find herself staring into a pair of glassy purple eyes. She suddenly felt lost into those eyes filled with unknown emotions she failed to decipher, feeling a little disoriented herself with an unknown familiarity. She blinked her eyes to expel the blurriness clouding her vision to see clearly.

"What happened to me? " Airi asked Jun Jie rubbing her eyes.

Jun Jie felt this look of hers to be extremely cute!

He didn't get the chance to say a thing when Airi exclaimed anxiously.

" Did I perhaps behaved rudely? "

" No way! " Jun Jie confirmed with her.

" Did I do something bad or spoke with hostility?"

" No, you didn't." Jun Jie lied to her casually so as not to make her feel awkward or scared.

" So everything I saw and thought of was my imagination it seemed, right? " Airi glanced at Jun Jie nervously.

" Yes, it is as you say. It might have been your imagination...and I-I didn't find you ru-ude at all!", A shy Jun Jie assured her in a gentle tone as he patted her messy locks in place in a soothing manner, smoothing out the tangles in the process.

His actions were indulgently gentle!

Airi felt a warm sensation brewing in her heart. She felt happy.

I should make a note to a pet that cute dog more. He might also enjoy it!

She had previously discovered a puppy beside a fountain near the crossroads she passed by regularly on her way home. It looked pitiful and the kind Airi had given it her bar of sneakers for it to munch on the day she found it.

Airi regarded this feeling as good. A shallow smile bloomed on her innocent face.

Jun Jie was unexpectedly caught off guard upon seeing her beaming smile and was left stunned, his ears turning red followed by his whole face. He loved how adorably charming she looked at the moment and so he could not stop himself from blushing!

Seeing two red-faced pair, Mio'er WAS NOT AT ALL happy!

Mio'er not at all pleased with being neglected when he barged into the invisible fluffy corner of the two, ruining such a once in a lifetime moment!

"Mistress are you okay? Your Mio'er was so worried! Ah since we know how to get out of here we need to hurry isn't that so Mistress?"

" Ah yes...thank you Mio'er?" Airi responded vaguely feeling a little disconnected.

Ah, Mistress, I won't let you fall into this hateful guy's charm this time. I will save you!

" Ah? Ah no, It wo-won't hurt mu-much. It won't! I'm here", nervously Jun Jie coaxed his fragile little beloved.

'It would be me spilling the blood not him. How would he help me in that? But at least he said he was here for me...who even says that?'

" Okay then... ", A hesitant Airi replied feeling helpless.

Airi still unsure did as she was told by the two. She bit into her fingers hesitantly and let the drops of blood fall onto the ground.

'Aww, my pitiful finger!'

Soon after, the ground began to tremble all over as though something was trying to set itself free from its shackled confinement. It was persistently struggling to break the boundary from inside it!

She was surprised upon seeing the ground giving off a golden glow when a streak of light dashed towards her like a greased lightning, entering her forehead and unexpectedly getting absorbed instantly.

Airi touched her forehead specifically that same place the golden light had passed through, rubbing it involuntarily. She caressed the place with her fingers between her eyes feeling a little hot and itchy.

"Hu wu ha ha ha ha... hahaha! Miss... Mistress pl... Please no no more! St... Stop it. Hold it, Mistress! "

"..."

Airi absent mildly kept on poking and rubbing her forehead as she felt it itching so much constantly! when out of nowhere, a series of giggles were heard, freaking her out in the process!

What was that? Are even ghosts residing here? Did I perhaps disturb them by contracting the Realm?
