1 The alliance

Thousands of years ago there were four kingdoms; each of them stood as a symbol for something. There was the kingdom of fire ( The Magland kingdom ), the kingdom of magic ( The Magia kingdom ), the kingdom of intellectuals ( The Enigma kingdom ), and the biggest of them all, the kingdom of peace ( The Gana kingdom ).

The Gana kingdom was the first and biggest kingdom among the others, the kingdom had the best and the strongest soldiers. So now that you know about the kingdoms let us jump to how the strongest kingdom almost fell and how it regained its strength by the brave Princess, princess April.

April gets out of her room in the castle.

April: hey mom, how are you today?

Flora: I am fine sweetheart, just give me a second. FINN!!!

(Finn enters the room and falls on one knee.)

Finn: yes your Majesty.

Flora: I need you to run over the castle and make sure everything is ready before our grand meeting.

Finn: on it your Majesty.

Flora: What were you saying, honey?

April: is there a meeting I don't know about?

Flora: oh I totally forgot to tell you, today is the day where we make an alliance with the Magland kingdom.

April: are you sure it is a good idea? Since you know they are brutal and only speak to violence.

Flora: honey, this alliance will help us so much, and it will also help them.

April: I mean you are the Queen you make the decisions

Flora: yes, but you are the Princess, and one day you will have to make them too.

April: yes but that day won't be anytime soon and I am grateful for that.

-Mom shook her head.

Flora: honey, one day I will die and you will rule instead of me so you will have to make tough decisions, just like I do.

For some reason, I felt terrible for what she said.

April: don't say that mom, you still have a lot to live for and I don't think I will ever be ready for all that responsibility, I love being the Princess, I love having fun and going to festivals.

My mom was smiling at me the whole time while I was talking.

Flora: sweetheart, you will be ready in time.

A few moments later and Finn entered the room.

Finn: the Magland kingdom has arrived my Queen.

The door opened and the king came first with his son following him.

Arthur: Flora, you look lovely.

Flora: Arthur, you look fine by yourself, where is your wife, Carol?

Arthur: unfortunately, she passed away a couple of years ago, said Arthur hesitantly.

Flora: Oh I am so sorry for your loss.

Arthur: her loss had brought grief among all of us.

- APRIL'S POV

My mom is speaking with King Arthur while I have nothing to do. So I guess I will go train for a bit.

I went to the training room where I found my guard and my best friend Isaac, he used to be my mother's guard, but my mom wanted him to be mine, cause he is our best fighter in all of the kingdoms, he is the strongest and fastest, he once defeated a hundred men alone with no help. I rushed at him while he wasn't looking and just before I almost got him he dodged to the side and I fell on the floor.

Isaac laughed at the sight and I stood up.

Me: that was so close, I almost got you this time.

Isaac replied: yeah, yeah sure you can say that to the floor but I don't think it will reply back because of the disappointment.

Isaac was the only one who could make me laugh and he always cheered me up when I ever felt down.

after a few moments of laughter and fun

Isaac: so I heard you are making an alliance with the Maglands.

April: my mom thinks it is a good idea to make an alliance with them.

Isaac: your mom always had a vision but I have a bad feeling about this.

April: what could possibly go wrong.

Just as the words got out of April's lips the castle started shaking.

Isaac: what was that?

Both Isaac and April rushed to the main hall to see both soldiers from Gana and Magland fighting and a catapult outside the castle kept throwing cobbles and destroying the castle.

April: what the hell is happening?

Isaac: just stay behind me.

Isaac kept fighting the Magland's soldiers for a long time and April ran to look for her mom.

Isaac: April STAY BEHIND ME!!!

April ignored him and kept running. Once she found her mom, Flora was on her knees while King Arthur had his sword on her neck.

April: Arthur, explain yourself.

Arthur: what is there to explain, I am just raiding your kingdom and then I will move to another kingdom until I become the king of all kingdoms.

Flora: you will never succeed Arthur, Gana will never fall under your rule.

Arthur stabbed Flora in her heart.

Arthur: looks like I already did.

April: MOOOOM!!!

April grabbed the sword of a dead soldier next to her and sprinted toward Arthur in anger.

April: I will kill you, you traitor.

April swung her sword at Arthur but he blocked.

Arthur: I am not the one who was fool enough to think of trusting the Maglands.

April: you will die for this Arthur, I promise you that.

April swung her sword again but Arthur dodged and kicked April in her side.

April: AAAHH!!

Arthur: I don't think you are going to keep that promise.

Arthur raised his sword to kill April but Isaac jumped in front of Arthur and blocked his sword.

-APRIL'S POV

As Arthur raised his sword I closed my eyes in defeat but then I heard two metal crashing together. I opened my eyes, and I saw Isaac blocking his attack

Arthur: the legendary Isaac, I have heard about you.

Isaac: good, so no need for an introduction then.

Isaac raised his sword and kicked Arthur in the stomach.

Arthur fell down but he stood up again.

Arthur said with a really glad tone: finally a worthy challenge.

Isaac and Arthur kept fighting for a long time until both of them couldn't raise their hands from tiredness.

Arthur: you are really something aren't you, but unfortunately, you are outnumbered.

I looked around and the Maglands were everywhere and some Gana soldiers fled away and some dead. So I looked at Isaac who gave me an " it is going to be okay " look.

So out of nowhere a group of eight soldiers launched at Arthur while one of them shouting " I would rather die than being a coward ".

And then Isaac ran towards me and carried me and ran out of the castle as they were distracted by the eight soldiers.

And just while on our way out of the castle I looked at my dead mom's mother and blacked out.

Hours later

I woke up in the middle of the forest in front of a bonfire, Isaac was sitting right across me.

Isaac looked at me to make sure I was awake and he didn't say anything.

I never saw him that angry before, I think it was because he wanted to keep fighting but he also wanted to keep me alive.

I sat down on the log beside him and I put my head on his shoulder and I started crying.

Isaac looked at me and gave me a hug, I could feel his heartbeat. The hug was so good it made me feel so safe.

He killed her Isaac, he killed her and now I have no one, I said in a breaking voice.

I will not rest until I bring him down and I promise you I will stay by your side until the end, he said those words in a very low voice but at the same time, I could hear the words as if he was shouting them.

So what are we going to do? I asked.

Isaac: We will head toward the south we need soldiers. The Ona monks who trained me back then are there.

I replied: Ona Monks? I thought they were just a myth.

Isaac: only a few can earn their respect and they happen to be a good friend of mine. But right now you need to rest and we will head there tomorrow.

I nodded and waited for the sun to rise, as if it will ever does
