4 The White Wendigo-god

Sir-Lady Tolecnal and Sir Matthew were walking within the snowy peaks of Muscovy, they had both been tasked with killing a monster that was ravaging Tsar Dmitry Ivanovich's kingdom.

(And fun fact; this Tsar is known for having died four times, and had come back to life each time!)

The clapping of Sir Matthew's teeth could be heard, as he noticed how Sir-Lady Tolecnal did not seem to be bothered by the cold.

" You were raised by the sea, how come you are fine with the cold? " he asked.

" I was not raised by the sea, I was raised by the Sir of the Sea, and the cold never bothered me anyway " said she, sounding almost like she was singing.

Sir Matthew now recalled what the rest of the knights had told him; that Sir-Lady Tolecnal was the toughest, strongest, skilled, and kindest knight of them all.

Tolecnal now stopped, as she noticed some tracks, while Matthew was doing his best to keep up.

" The monster is close, " she said.

" Really? " he said, surprised " How close? " he asked.

" Breathing down your neck close " said Tolecnal, as Matthew felt a warm breeze on his neck.

Sir Matthew jumped forward, but he could not unsheathe his sword, for it was frozen shut.

Sir-Lady Tolecnal could, and she drew forth her blade.

The beast before them was known as; Ithaqua, who gave an echoing roar, but Sir-Lady Tolecnal stood her ground, and fought on, while Matthew was throwing snowballs… Hey! Give him a break, he is doing his best…

Sir-Lady Tolecnal and Ithaqua exchanged blow after blow, the beast may have had size, but the Sir-Lady certainly had speed.

After a few quick moves, Tolecnal was able to end the monster, but she quickly had to rescue Matthew- who was buried under a mountain of snow.

The grateful Tsar gave his thanks.

Sir-Lady Tolecnal and Sir Matthew now both returned home.

Where Matthew got a cold, and Tolecnal received praise.
