7 The Pharaoh and the Prophet

Sir Matthew and Sir Anagrom found themselves within Egypt, and Sir Matthew was still complaining that it was too hot.

The two knights were not in Egypt because of a task, they were there, because Matthew had a question, to Pharaoh Thutmose (III) the third.

" Is Moses your brother? " asked Matthew.

" Well, he is my adopted brother, but yes, we are siblings " said Thutmose the third.

" So you are the Pharaoh of Exodus- " as Matthew had uttered those words, Moses himself walked into the throne-room.

" Greetings, gentlemen " said the prophet.

" I am confused, were you two not suppose to be enemies? " said Sir Anagrom.

" What makes you say that? " asked the Pharaoh.

" Were the Jews not slaves? "

" Oh, I see, I assume that the next thing that you are going to say; is that the pyramids were built by slaves… " said the Pharaoh with a pissed-smile.

" Well, were the pyramids built by slaves? " asked Sir Anagrom.

" No. They. Were. Not. " said Thutmose, as he was tired of that lie.

" So the Jews are not slaves? "

" No, they are not " said the Pharaoh, as he showed the two knights; how the people of Egypt(including the Jews) were happy.

" I have one last question; is Egypt not under the Byzantine Empire? " said Sir Matthew.

" Let us just say, that I have an agreement with the Empress-Sisters " said the Pharaoh, as his brother and guests partied on that night.
