6 Chapter 5: Betrayal

No one's P.O.V

It was a cold dark October night. The rain clouds began to thunder as many humans run inside of buildings as Konik and Linda walk in the mush. Letting the drops of water fall onto them as they walk side-by-side. Linda was most confused since she has only met Konik close to a week ago and he was already forcing her into killing innocent monsters who done nothing wrong.

It was a curse in following Konik for he has done nothing, but get Linda injured. Whenever she wanted to call in Ki, she couldn't since Konik was always around.

Linda tilts her head to the ground as she walks beside Konik who held gravely onto her wrist. She didn't want to hurt him, but he is forcing things upon that she doesn't want to do anymore. Many countries and monsters are already after her. She doesn't need anything else running after her. Linda takes in a deep breath and cocks her wrist out of Konik's grasp as she begins to run. She ran across a non-busy street and into the woods. She reaches into her pocket and took out the coin to call upon Ki the Finder. She began to whisper, "Beyond this point of time and words! I summon Ki the Finder!" She throws the coin and a huge black flame sprouts out of the coin as Ki begins to walk out, but was soon tackled by Linda as she bumps into him.

Ki holds onto Linda as he sees that she has grown into a woman and that she looks severely injured. Healing wasn't in her favor for some odd reason. He quickly hugs Linda and tries to calm her down. Hearing her cry after many years was not what he expected to come back to, but knowing that she is crying... Something happened...

Ki looks up to see Konik walking towards them. His long bony fingers were touching the ground as he slouches. Ki immediately knew that Konik was the cause of Linda summoning him. He looks at Konik with his yellow dotted eyes, "What have you done to Linda?"

Konik stops walking as he stares at Ki. Knowing that he was hugging Linda and not him made his blood boil, "Don't worry about it, old man." His tone was threatening as he got onto all fours and began to crawl around them. His knees went out just as though he was a spider. His bottom went flat as his spine begins to pop out. The long bony fingers grew longer and made more of a curl than Ki would have liked to see.

Ki wanted to gag at the sight before him until he watches Konik's every movement. Each step was careful which Ki didn't expect from a monster like Konik. He wasn't even sure if Konik was a monster. Than a sudden memory came to him as he soon remembers that an escaped experiment was running around. Konik must've been the escaped experiment the entire time. Ki quickly teleports Linda somewhere as he hears Konik beginning to growl in frustration. He looks at Konik crawling towards him until he kicks him in the face. Sending him across the forest. He dusts off his trench coat that he has been wearing for the past 13 years. He was happy that it was still good condition, but then a sudden memory of Linda getting hurt came across his little happy moment.

Ki didn't want Linda to continue to suffer from that monstrosity. He looks to see that Konik was running at him with full speed. He grew another set of limbs, arms to be exact, as he was crawling fast towards Ki which he was quickly stopped and punched into the ground. His skull went down into his head as he looks up to see the Ki was looking down at him with pure hatred. Green ooze came out of his mouth as he gets onto his knees. His eyes growing with hatred as he stands up.

Ki quickly made a remark, "Better run home to your mother, you sick little shit."

Konik's eyes turned black as he stands up onto his feet. His entire body was encasing in a dark matter that didn't cause Ki to back up for. The dark matter swirled faster around Konik's body as it soon quickly hugged his body and was getting absorbed. As soon as the dark matter was absorbed into Konik's body, Konik's limbs were longer and skinnier to where the bones didn't exist. His neck was longer as his fingers went long too. Konik's height was about 50 inches tall. Anyone could see him by how tall he was. He glares down at Ki with pure hatred and with intent to eat the monster that was below him.

Ki takes in a deep breath as he smiles and talks to himself, "Hopefully you can kill this wannabe Siren head, Linda." He looks up to see a ice spike going through his head. Destroying his skull, brain, eyes, everything. His nerves system immediately shuts down as his body begins to heal, but that was quickly cut short as he was picked up by Konik and was bitten in half. His blood went onto Konik's mouth, chest, arms, and even the trees below them. The rest of Ki's body was soon devoured by Konik.

Konik swallows the rest of Ki as he begins to look around for Linda. Now he wants to finish her off as well for running away from him. He begins to walk in a random direction that even he doesn't know...

Not knowing that the coin was letting out 3 new creatures. 3 creatures that have intentions of finding Linda for themselves...

~~~Meanwhile with Linda~~~

Linda opens up her eye sockets to feel around that there was 30 human males. All of them were looking at her as she becomes confused into what just happened. She was in a hug with Ki, but he must've teleported her. As Linda was getting her thoughts together into what just happened, the 30 men pinned Linda onto the ground and chained her with chains that can take away a monster's energy.

Linda didn't fight the guards as they begin to lead her to a dungeon. She wasn't sure of what a dungeon is since she has never been in one, but she is excited in finding out what one was.
