5 Chapter 4: Now And Back

Linda's P.O.V

The streets went quiet as I left the road filled with cars. The time estimated from fighting a wild monster and cops, it took me 5 hours max without a ride. It was weird hearing so many go by and the screaming of citizens going by. I quickly stopped on a concrete sidewalk. Hearing something behind me. I quickly turned around to be faced with another creature. I never felt this kind of monster's blood, but it did feel like a human's blood at the same time. It made me curious in who it is. I stayed still while calmly breathing. Not letting a single shiver go up my spine as I remained calm. My palms were open and laying against the dark blue jeans that I wear. My feet shifted a bit as blood begins to run down my cheeks and onto the ground. Symbolizing that I am not afraid to attack the oncoming intruder until I heard:

"So you're the infamous Linda?"

His voice sounded a bit lively but dead at the same time. It was hard to make out which one it is since his voice was nothing that I have heard of before. No monster nor humans spoke in such tongue unless... He is the experiment!

I quickly clenched my fists as the blood shoots out and wraps itself around the experiment's throat. Not afraid in tearing him to shreds. He killed the worker that I have made a small bond with and destroyed her family. I won't easily forgive such thing as this experiment.

No one's P.O.V

The man looks down at the blood wrapped around his throat. He was surely surprised that it wasn't dripping onto his clothes as his blue clear eyes looks into Linda's eye sockets. He finds it fascinating that such a woman exists. She does have more of a woman's body than a girl's body with her age. He soon smirks with his stitches stretching across his face, "Interesting body and power you got there Missy." He touches the blood with his long dagger fingers. His fingers looks more as if the skin was hugging the bones. He gently rubs a finger against the blood. It was so fixed on his throat that he was amazed. His blue eyes goes from the blood to Linda who looked a bit pissed. He grew a big smile as he removes his finger from the blood, "I have hunch in who you are." He cocks his head to his left. His black kind of long black hair tied in a pony tail soon followed in the motion. He continued to smile. He wanted to continue in smiling, he found himself a toy that he can't refuse to play with.

Linda farrows her eyebrows. Her fist tightens around the man's neck as she tries to continue in choking him, "What do you want from me?" Her voice was serious as she never experienced before.

The man laughs a bit as he closes his eyes. Once he reopens them to look at Linda with now orange clear eyes, "First of all my name is Konik or Project Element and secondly, can you remove this blood from my throat? I don't want to harm you after the stories that I have heard from you."

Linda continues to give Konik an empty eye glare until she un-balls her fists and the blood immediately went back into her eye sockets. She feels Konik stretching since she has taken some of his blood without him knowing. For whenever he decides to attack, she can have the upper hand.

Konik stretches out his neck as he looks at Linda again, "As for your question, you can say that I have been looking for a toy to play with."

Linda felt herself get angry again until she feels her shoulders get wrapped around in Konik's long arm. She knew it was his right arm since it was the most common arm to be used in wrapping around shoulders. She grabbed his wrist and drops it behind her's. Not wanting him to touch her. She soon noticed that she was being dragged on the grass straight after she had just got Konik's arm off of her.

Konik began to drag Linda into a nearby forest. Some branches was hitting against him as he broke the branches off of trees before they could hit Linda. He knew that he would have fun with the woman that is being dragged behind him. He already loves her even though he doesn't know her. He continues in dragging her until he let's go of her and let's her drop onto the ground. He looks down to see that Linda was grunting or making any angry noises along the way to the sight before him or that he had just basically dropped her. He laughed to himself as he continues to stare at Linda, "You alright there? I am quite honestly surprised that you aren't mad."

Linda gets onto her hands and knees as her head was pointed towards the grass below her, "I am alright, falling and tripping over things is nothing new to me."

Konik grabs Linda's shoulders from behind and picks her up from her shoulders then puts her down onto her feet. He felt himself smile wider while feeling his stitches rise. He looks at the watered grass below him as he speaks, "Falling and tripping huh? Sounds new to me."

Linda turns her head to Konik who looks back at her. Her no eyes made things better for Konik so that he doesn't have to feel cold from looking into eyes of his once enemy. Linda tilts her head to the left as she becomes confused, "Why does it?"

"Because none of the scientists would fall or trip over things unless I made them to do so, it wasn't fun but..." He loses his smile and squats down. Now not wanting to talk. He held his breath until he felt a hand go along his hair. His eyes turn back to blue until he looks up at Linda who was squatting down next to him. The jeans hugged against her body as he smiles. His eyes started to turn yellow as he soon jumped up and grabbed Linda's hand. Yanking her to stand up with him. He heard a small sound from Linda which means that she shocked. He soon smiles wide as he hugs her. He never hugged before until now. As soon as he stopped hugging her, he pushes her off the cliff that they were standing on and into a lake that was below them. He quickly jumps into the water and his eyes turn back to blue. Seeing that Linda doesn't know how to swim, he quickly grew gills and swims quickly through the water and grabs her hand. He pulls her out of the water and onto a nearby beach. He was laughing as he heard Linda coughing. Water came out of her mouth as she soon started to breath heavily.

Never has she felt such rush and such danger before. Linda soon turned her head towards Konik who hugged her as she returns the hug slowly, not knowing why he was hugging her in the first place. She says after he stops hugging her, "I need new clothes."
