8 Who was she? (Chapter 7)

She takes her stance so elegantly I replay the moment in my mind.

I follow her eyes to the side seeing my Father watching.

Now there is no way out.

I cannot surrender with him watching.

I hastingly look to Ryan hoping he would see reason as I am about to hurt this woman.

He doesn't.

I take my stance. I look her in her eyes but Surprised to see she was smiling. For what?

She was about to get hurt! Stupid woman. Why the fuck doesn't she back down?

My heart suddenly feeling heavy I begin to move. Circling her as a lion does his prey.

She told me not to hold back. So I won't.

She mirrors my steps circling me with her arms held high. She was smaller than me so she had to protect her head.

Smart little girl.

Made me even more intrigued.

Suddenly, She lunged forward with supernatural speed and landed an agonizing blow to my stomach. Then another heavy kick to my leg as she fought with such skill and speed. Like a wolf.

Overwhelmed in pain I tried to hit her, but she moved with immense speed around me and hit me from behind, causing me to fall flat on my face.

What the actual fuck!

I was pissed. I got up and swept the floor and she fell on her back but got up instantly. I could see the fall hurt her as she landed on her arm. But hurriedly shook off the pain.

She took stance again. Moving around with such prescison I couldn't predict her next move. She saw my anger through my eyes and softened her expression for naught but a second before it faded away and her killer instinct returned.

I threw more punches some landing other missing but she never faltered. Landing blow after blow I couldn't decide what part of my body hurt the most. She threw a menacing kick to my jaw causing me to fall backwards with blood seeping through every part of my body.

She climbed ontop of me ready to finish the job.

But she looked into my eyes. And stopped. She couldn't hit me. She couldn't finish it.

Her expression softened into concern as she looked at me in guilt. She helped me sit up so she was straddling me. I layed my hands on her thighs. She placed her hand on my chest and closed her eyes.

I felt something.

Something was shifting in me.

I looked down to my stomache to see my cuts fading away as if they had never existed. The cuts of my face closing up and my swollen eye shift back to normal.

She rid me of all pain.

She had opened her eyes, they read her guilt as she whispered "I'm so sorry."

She leapt up off my lap and speed walked into the castle.

I watched her walk away, not turning back once. I wondered if I would ever see her again. I prayed I would.

I saw Drake walk up to me and offer me a hand off the floor. I take it as he pulls me up. He smiled at me in respect for my actions.

"Don't worry about it man. There isn't a man out there who's ass she couldn't kick." He said with pride.

"You never stood a chance. Ryan knew that, he just wanted to see you fall on your ass." He said patting my shoulder and giggling as if we were friends. "You're not a bad fighter though, I mean not any man can beat me."

"No hard feelings though right?" I ask extending my hand.

"Of course dude, seriously, I respect you for that." He says shaking my hand giving me a clean shirt. Black obviously. He puts one arm around my neck and laughing and chatting as we walk inside. All I can think about is her. Who was she? Why did she heal me? I can't get her out of my head.

And I don't really want her to.
