2 Chapter two

When I was walking to the ring I saw no one in the stands, the whole place had no fans or support for humans. I smiled, then said to myself, " So, they don't want anyone to see a human whoop some ass here?" As I got into the arena or ring the gargoyle smiled at me for a moment. The guy was made of stone and looked really nasty. The guy chuckled a bit when the bell rang, but soon changed his tune.

Right, when the bell got quiet I was right in the stone man's face. He smirked at me and so I jumped back and caught him with a heavy right Haymaker. As hard as I threw that punch I guess you could say I had a little too much hot sauce on that burger. Because he flew over the ropes and landed on the ground. Lite is now paying attention to me watched the Gargoyle get back in the ring with me. You could feel the room's mood and tempo change. The guy spits out a tooth and smiled at me, this time he rushed me and hit the post behind me. Then I kicked him in the face, I cracked his stone and everyone looked at Litta who nodded at the gargoyle. In a flash of light, I was hit in the face hard, Though I never hit the ground. All the hit was, made me extremely pissed me off, I opened my eyes and the stone man was scared for a moment.

Just as fast I was hit in the face I punched the guy with just a normal right straight punch knocking him out. I calmed down, then I went to check on the guy to make sure I didn't kill him with that last punch. I looked at Litta and then I asked her, " Does this mean I'm part of your show now?" Litta smiled at me and said, "Yes, I guess so my human friend, So don't lose or you leave this city." That extra remark just lit a fire under my ass. That wasn't the only thing though she gave me, she also gave me money from my fight, It was enough to live off of for a year. "You'll make this much for every win you get so worked hard and climb those cards kid." She said as I left the arena, I had her number and close to a quarter-million In my hand. When I got to the apartments, I gave Aria a year's rent and headed to my apartment. When I got there I got the smart Idea to smoke out on the porch with my cigar.

I waited for Bradley to get home, So smoking was a good way to kill time. As I smoked I was watching everyone running around the courtyard. I saw many types of monsters kind and giants, I was having a good time till a group of the giants spotted me. Then all of them walked over to my window and one of the Female giants saw I was not a monster and smoking a cigar. "Hello, young man, what kind of monster smoke Cigars?" one male giant said, as he came down closer to me and saw I was human. "Well, sir, I'm not a monster, I'm just a human who loves the simple things in life," I said smiling as Bradley walked into the apartment.

Bradley had sweat running down his face and you could tell he was just terrified of what he found out about this city. I left the group of giants for a second, "you most of found out what this town is really full of brothers?" I asked him, Bradley looked right behind me and saw all the giants looking at him. Bradley saw I wasn't scared, I looked a bit happier than normal. I smiled at my brother and shook his head yes to my question. "Don't panic little brother, if they wanted to hurt us they would have by now. We have a certain scent where they can tell what we are. " I told him and started to calm down a bit after. I told him about the job I had found, "Yeah, I started fighting again and I paid for our apartment for a whole year."

Bradley was cross with me and he went into his room, forgetting about our new friends watching us. "Why is he mad you're fighting in the arena, May I asked my friend?" the female giant asked me when I looked over at them. I smiled and went out to them, "When I was younger, I used to fight for a living back in my home country. I had gotten into some trouble with a gang that wanted me to throw fights. Sadly for them the guys they pitted against me couldn't fight for crap. " I stopped for a moment to remember those days of wins. The girl asked me, "Have you ever lost a fight?" I smiled and it spooked her a bit. "Once and it was in my first tournament against my cousin, since then I've never lost a fight."

The giants looked at each other and then they introduced themselves to me. "My name is Land and this my daughter Ocean, My clan are part of the Japanese Giants of lore." The man told me and I smiled, "My name Is Jacob, and my brother you have seen, his name is Bradley it has been a pleasure talking with you both." I said to them as were about to leave, "We hope to see you fight in the arena soon my friend." Land said as they disappeared into the falling night. I walked into the apartment and had Bradley come out of his room so we could chat about my fighting. "Brother, I am going to fight for a living, It can help me lay low." Brad looked at me and then he knew it was the only thing I knew how to do. Brad looked at his hand and the cut on his shoulder. "With all the monsters here, you really think we can live a good life here brother?" Bradley asked me as I smiled, "Well, yeah, look at the friends we just made in giants and with me establishing my power as a fighter people will leave us alone." Bradley saw I was not hiding anything and so he took my word and then told me to keep my head down. I went to bed after dinner and planned to get up early.

The next morning I went to the cafe near the apartment building for coffee and a snack. I was on my way out the door when I ran into something. I looked down and saw a Red-Haired woman falling to the ground. I caught her within a millisecond of hitting the said ground, I stood her up and she looked at me said nothing, and headed into the cafe. I thought she was rude for doing that, but I let it slide since it was my fault. I left the area and went to the arena to start some retraining, I was there all day putting some work on my arms and legs. I was there so long Bradley came over from school when it let out. Bradley saw me training and sat near so I could finish up my routine. He met Litta and they had a long conversation. Then, as we were going to leave for the night, she came into the arena. The Woman from the morning that I ran into an accident, I ignored her packing my gym clothes. She did it to me so this was major payback, everyone was looking at her but me, and this made everyone mad at me.

"Jacob, have more respect for our Queen, She's the ruler of monsters of this city and Japan." Said Litta as I Laughed a bit, "Ha, she's not my ruler, I don't bow to anyone you should know that Litta." I stood up from my seat and smiled right at everyone, the woman stared a hole through me but I didn't care one bit. Her eyes glowed yellow and were diamond-shaped like a snake. She looked pissed at my disrespect, but then I spoke again. "Maybe when someone helps you out, you could at least knowledge them. Or at least not give them the cold shoulder right, " I was heading out the door when I felt her aura change and it was dark. "Human's cannot live in my city!" She said to us casting or trying to cast a spell on us. We looked at each other a new she was trying to make us leave.

"Brother look she doesn't know we can't be controlled by magic, isn't that funny." I smiled and you heard Litta tell the Queen, "I've tried that when I meet them my lady" Bradley I found out during that moment we have a resistance to all or most magic. I apologized to the Queen telling her, "Miss I don't bow to anyone, my pride will not let me do that. We mean your city no harm, we just came here to live in peace. " I was trying to be as peaceful as I could with my conversation with the Queen. The Queen looked over at Litta and then told her, "Keep your eyes on him for a bit, then report to me in two weeks." She left and then I followed soon after, With Bradley, we headed home for the night. At home, I sat in a chair out on the porch smoking my cigar and watching the night sky.
