1 Prologue- What Happened?

"Celeste!" I heard a familiar voice call me, I didn't turn around because who knows maybe it's a kidnapper or something.

I felt someone tap my shoulder and before I could realise who the person was my fist was already flying towards the person's face.

"Oh shit! I'm sorry Keegan!" I cursed.

He laughed and said "it's fine Celeste! Nothing to worry about!" He then did a 360 degree turn and then said "The punch didn't hurt that much anyway" teasingly.

I kissed my teeth "you want me to punch you again pretty boy?"

He smirked "oh! So you think I'm pretty huh?" He then bent down dangerously close to my ear and said "Well I think you're beautiful"

I felt my face go red so I punched his arm and said "let's go! We're gonna be late for class" as I dragged him along the school's corridor.

I sat in my chair and he sat behind me, 5 minutes later my bestie Elvi came in and sat beside me. We did our handshake and I gave her a hug.

Our teacher then entered and took attendance.

"Mr. Keegan Wells? " I hear my teacher say and we all looked at Keegan who's hand is raised.

"Ms. Celeste Anson?" I raised my hand.

"Ms. Elvi Lopez?" She called out and she also raised her hand.

After the attendance she soon started talking about World War 2, My mind was elsewhere because of the results I saw this morning.

Before I knew it School was over and I was standing infront of a fidgety Keegan.

"Well c'mon! Spill Keegan" I urged him.

"I like you Celeste, I always have. " he closes his eyes while looking down. He looks like he is about to cry.

"You don't have to tell me if you like me or not-" I cut him off by lightly punching his arm.

"Don't worry Keegan, I like you too!" I smiled and I saw him let out a breath of relief.

He then hugged me and said "I already asked your parents for the permission to court you, so would you let me Court you Ms. Celeste Anson?" He looked at me waiting for my answer.

"Of course!" I smiled.

And that was in the past of course, We are now in college you and Elvi go to the same school while I don't.

Due to our schedules we barely talk, I barely even hear his voice.

I sat on my bed and opened my phone hoping to see a text from him but nothing.

I then opened my social media and I saw his post with Elvi having Ice cream, I silently wish that was me.

I ringed Elvi's Number but to no avail she didn't respond. I rang his number too but it went straight to voicemail. I though maybe he was in class so I put my phone down and took a nap.

I woke up and when I opened my phone, I saw a message from my aunt asking me when I would go home, I replied with a simple tomorrow.

I sighed because there was still no message from him. I decided to message him and ask when he would return home. He didn't reply so I turned off my phone and packed the stuff I would need.

I checked the time and it said 3:00 so I drank my pills.

By 8:00 there was still no reply from him and I had already finish packing and ate dinner.

I finally gave up and slept because I would need it, Because I was going home tomorrow
