Born with a silver spoon, she had everything. Her 2 brothers and her father would spoil her rotten. They would make sure she was comfortable.

Although her brothers and her father loved her dearly, the people around her shunned her. She was afraid of falling as her family had put her in a pedestal where she thinks she doesn't deserve.

Although she studied in a public high school, she was mostly alone. She didn't want to have friends who would just want to use her. She would eat her lunch on the rooftop and spend most of her free time in the music room and rooftop alone.

One day, a student called her name.

"Liang Jing!" she saw it was their classmate who was always bullied, carrying something sparkling in her hand, while chasing her.

"Yes?" she asked.

"You dropped this," she said as she handed her diamond bracelet in which she quickly snatched. Her mother gave it to her before she died.

"Thank you," she said.

Before her classmate could even turn around, Liang Jing held her hand.

"Uhh, I'm sorry. Huo Ai, I'd like to treat you lunch today. You see, this bracelet is really important to me, I'd like to thank you for returning it to me safely," she smiled.

"B-But --- what if they would do those horrible things to you?" she asked, pertaining to the bullies.

Liang Jing smiled and slowly approached her.

"With me, you're safe," she smiled while hugging Huo Ai.

That day, they ate lunch together at the rooftop.

"Let's make this our hide-out and meet-up place," Liang Jing smiled widely at her.

"B-But -- But your friends won't like it if I t-tag along," Huo Ai stuttered.

"No, I'm always alone. I'd like you to be my very first friend," Liang Jing said brightly.

"Th-then, I'm your friend now!" Huo Ai smiled widely.

That day, Liang Jing's dark, empty and lonely was a little brighter now.
