1 Chapter 1

"I'm leaving and I'm never coming back!!!"

I grab my car keys and ran as fast as I could, thankfully I packed my luggage in my trunk the night before.

I love this car my mom got it for me before she passed away and left me a little money enough money to buy myself a nice apartment in New York City,

"You think you can escape me you will never be able to just like your damn mother get back here!!"

Is the last thing I heard my father say I plan on never seeing him again. My best friend and I are moving to New York thankfully she's moving there too because we got accepted to the same college

"Ahhhhhhh I got excepted Ivy did you?!!"

My best friend mia asked me I decided to fake cry and yes I am the best at theater so of course with my amazing acting skills I got to my knees and started crying

"I thought I would make it Mia but I didn't make it"

Mia started crying with me

"No no no no there is no way you didn't make it you are like so much smarter than me how did you- how did you not make it it must be a mistake right!? It has to be"

I looked up at her and started smiling

"Of course I made it you dummy I'm the one who helped you with all your homework hahaha"

I started laughing tears start coming out of my eyes real ones this time she looked at me with playful anger and hit me on my arm playfully hard but it didn't hurt for I am a She-wolf and then she started laughing

"we're going to do this let's go, oh good luck with telling your dad you going to New York"

She said with the whole mood going sour we left her small apartment. yes she lives alone but her parents are alive it's just one of the little space but we've been friends since like Pre-K she is my best friend almost like my sister but if we were sisters I'd be the older one cuz I'm the smartest and plus I am older than her by like 5 or 6 months. I told her the story of how I got home and told my dad and also explained how he yelled at me. And so now we're going to New York.

Skreetch is all you can hear are my good black and pink tires from my 2019 black with pink rims Puma designed Chrysler 300!! yeah I know what you're saying wow that's a nice car it is also from my mom she knew my dream car so she got it once again before she passed away she suffered from cancer but we found out so last minute the minute she passed out. Honk honk I see my bestie coming out of her apartment

"Hurry up"

I playfully yell at Mia while she throws her suitcase in the back of my car seat, I snap at her "be careful with my car you know I love this car!!"

she smiles and says

"okay okay gosh calm down!" 10 minutes past and it's been a bit quiet all you can hear is Siri speaking in my map showing me the directions to New York yeah I decided to drive road trip!!

"Sooooo...." Mia says breaking the silence "how did it go with your dad???"

I explained everything to her about what happened it was a long story it lasted about 35 minutes to an hour we were already out of town great "It's ok Ivy" Mia said to me trying to make me feel better. 25 more hours to go!!! This is going to be a long day.
