Passing Days

Henry decided to play the long game since he would have to wait until he was sufficiently skilled to act anyway. He would slowly gather information about the student before finally putting an end to his stain of a life.

Perhaps he was being paranoid but even though he had many opportunities to ask the students name he never did. He hoped he would be able to overhear it by coincidence. He couldn't trust anyone around him when he was enemies with someone who had such deep pockets.

For all, he knew his new supposed friends could all be in the students pocket. He did feel slightly bad though whenever he saw Caitlyn. He wasn't so stupid or impulsive to intervene just because he slightly liked her more than others though.

In the end, she likely didn't spare a second thought about him. Henry had been a quiet one in the past but he wasn't stupid by any means. If he had actually had motivation he probably would've been able to get straight A's.

But it was exactly this intellect that remained with him and reminded him no matter how close he got to someone or how they felt about him it was all a lie. He knew that if anyone were to learn about his true self now and what he planned to do he would be completely rejected from society again.

He didn't really care about this but it would be better to maintain a good image in the long run. The day passed by fairly quickly without much issue as Henry once again pretended to be behind and have lots of work to do.

When he got home he was greeted by an angry phone call from his dad asking where he had got the money. They got in a big argument about it due to the fact that he hadn't even planned on using his own money for lessons but when he provided it he was greeted with anger.

In the end, Henry just explained everything about bitcoin to get his father to back off. This was a good lesson for him he would need to work on controlling his emotions better in the future. He could not have a repeat of what he did to his chest.

If something happened and he snapped on someone else this time he would be shit out of luck. There is no way he would be caught just because he couldn't properly control his emotions. That would be an extreme an embarrassment.

He waited for his parents to get home and passed the time by doing various stretches and warm-up exercises. Even though he likely wouldn't be starting for another month as time was needed to schedule classes he still thought that he should be at least somewhat physically prepared for training.

He stretching his upper body was difficult to do to his chest still having some slight scabbing so he focused on lower body exercises for the moment. He took a shower and changed out of his clothes right before his parents got home.

He was able to get through doing exercises for so long due to their very low intensity and the fact that he was watching an anime he found that was able to get his heart pumping. He greeted his parents and helped his mom with dinner as his father put away his work files and took a shower.

After his dad came out of the shower he took over with helping make dinner as Henry relaxed on the couch. After an hour a delicious smell came from the kitchen and everyone sat at the dinner table. After a few moments of silently eating his father finally spoke up.

"When would you like your classes to be?" He asked with a slightly upset expression on his face. "What are my options?" Henry responded. "The soonest would be two weeks from now. Every week after that for up to twenty weeks can be scheduled."

Henry sat in silence as he pondered his father's words. He could do a total of twelve lessons which was obviously too few to even master the basics if they were all next to each other. "Let's do four weeks from now starting a private lesson and then one class lesson for ten weeks followed by a final private lesson."

Henry decided that it would be best to split them up by weeks instead of doing two five day weeks in a row. This would allow him to sufficient practice between classes and fix any mistakes in the next lesson before moving on.

If he remembered correctly once a week class lessons were only held on Wednesday during the morning. So going about it in this way would result in less flexibility and meant he would show up late to school every Wednesday.

He was slightly worried that repeated lateness would attract too much attention. While he was thinking about this he noticed the irritated look his father was giving him from across the table. "You know the schedule for once a week classes, don't you? How do you plan on getting there?"

Henry was caught off guard by the question. He knew it would inconvenience his parents but he didn't think he would be expected to find his own way there and to school after. He looked to his mother wondering if she would intervene.

Feeling his gaze his mother sighed before speaking up, "We can switch out every other week I'll take him to his first lesson and you the next week and so on.". His father was still slightly irritated but nodded his head in agreement.

The rest of dinner passed by quietly as his parents went to bed and he cleaned the kitchen and put away any leftovers. Henry sighed as he laid down on his bed slightly sore from stretching and upset about his father's attitude. He really thought that what he asked for wasn't too over the top when everything was taken into consideration.

Day's quickly went by as Henry waited for his lessons to finally start. A week had passed and it was now Thursday and he finally was able to find out the name of the student. Apparently, he had gotten picked up early during lunch so his name was spoken on the intercom.

'Nathan Franklin.' Henry thought to himself engraving the name into his head. Now knowing Nathan's name he could do some research when he got home. This past week Henry had only found one thing to be truly difficult to deal with.

This was his supposed friends. Even if he didn't like them it was best that he associated with them so he couldn't just ignore them completely. He would seem more normal in the eyes of other if he went around doing stupid shit like a normal teenager.

His friends had invited him over to this big party taking place at some rich kids house. They made a big deal about how there would supposedly be drugs and alcohol there along with of course girls. His immediate instinct was to reject them outright but when he thought on it further he could only say he would think about it.

This was the kind of stupid shit that might help him seem like just another normal teenager in the eyes of others. He was very conflicted due to the fact that if he went and didn't at least drink he would stand out like a sore thumb but he despised the idea.

He understood having fun but drinking or doing drugs at any age for him was out of the question. He was of the thought process that one never knew what would happen and a clear mind free from the influence of any external chemicals should always be kept.

Humans were already impulsive and unpredictable creatures without adding anything else to the mix. Although Henry felt he was better than most when it came to controlling himself he knew that he was not perfect. Not even he could predict what would happen if he came under the influence of any drugs or alcohol with the way he was now.

He had to decide if he would go by tomorrow though because the party was Friday night and he would need to hitch a ride from school with one of his 'friends'. Lunch quickly ended while Henry was in his own mind and after that, the day passed by in a flash.

Henry once again did stretches and light workouts when he got home and by the time his parents arrived, he had decided he would attend the party. Over dinner, he asked if he could go over to a friends house the next day after school and possibly stay there till Saturday.

His parents were slightly shocked when they heard the question. Henry did not often discuss his life at school besides saying whether his day was good or bad and his parents knew that in the past he didn't have many friends if any at all.

His parents smiled at each other glad that their son finally wanted to go out and do things like any other child of his age. In fact, in their own minds, they had thought that even if he was caught drinking or smoking some weed they would go easy on him because of the fact that he was at least out doing something.

His dad quickly told him that he could and asked if he needed any money to do anything. Henry did not expect to be offered money and wasn't planning on buying anything but saw an opportunity. "Actually we had been thinking about going to a movie and I would feel better if I didn't have to rely on someone else for money," Henry spoke in a slightly anxious tone.

His dad nodded and said he would go to the gas station after dinner to withdraw some cash. Henry thanked him and finished his dinner. After everyone had eaten his dad left to get the money and his mom went to bed while he cleaned up the kitchen.

After cleaning up the kitchen Henry waited a little while for his father to get home before deciding to go to bed. His father was taking a little while to get back home but he didn't think much of it and went to bed.

The next morning his dad woke him up at the usual time and gave him 200 dollars and told him to enjoy himself with a wink. Henry was shocked and slightly confused at his father's actions. He wondered what his dad expected he was going to do that night.

He didn't think much of it though and took a shower and ate breakfast before waiting for his father to take him to school. Every day he felt pain and anger in his heart. Every day he got in his father's big truck instead of his brother's small sedan he was reminded of what was done to him.

The mornings were always the hardest part of the day because of this. When he got to school every morning he would not want to wait and instead beat Nathan senseless until either his fist or Nathans skull cracked.

Every time he felt he would be overcome with rage he would step out of class and go to the bathroom where he would first make sure it was empty before grabbing large wads of paper towel and use it as a cushion as he let out his rage on the wall punching it until he was out of energy.

For once he was actually glad that he was weak and not strong enough to make a hole in the wall. He knew though that this was not a permanent solution once he got stronger in the future he would need to find another outlet for his rage. Hopefully that time his outlet would be Nathan.
