5 Training Haki

After Vergil saw his sats he decided to use his unused stat points to put 6 into strength, 4 into agility, 8 into vitality and 2 into sense, his new stats looked like this

Vergil wanted to be an all rounder, he wanted to keep all his stats well kept instead of focusing on one particular thing as all stats are important and help in everything. After seeing his stats Vergil sat down on a stool in his kitchen and began to think, ever since he came to this world he never made a concrete plan on what he wanted to do and achieve. The system made him stronger, going into a dungeon allows him to gain levels and skills and while he's in the dungeons time barely moves in the real world so it would only be a matter of time before Vergil got strong enough to rival some of the strongest beings alive in the Dxd universe.

So that just left the question of what he actually wanted to do in this world, in his last life Vergil lived a terrible life, he had no friends, females looked at him as if he was the most disgusting thing they had ever seen, other guys looked at him with pity and treated him like garbage, his own family regularly called him a disappointment and voiced their dissatisfaction with everything about him, so in that movement Vergil came to a conclusion, if life treated him like sh*t before what stops him from doing whatever he wants.

He has a system that makes him strong and he has absolutely no reason to hold back and live a life that he wanted to live, Vergil would do what he wanted when he wanted and if people didn't like it then those people can take an armament Haki infused fist to the face

One thing Vergil definitely wanted to try were the females of this world as the world of high school Dxd was infamous for their beautiful females, he had literally no experience with any girls in his previous life, none of them would even give him the time of day, but that didn't mean that Vergil still didn't hope that maybe one of those girls would give him a chance, but ultimately he was proved wrong, no girl wanted to give the biggest loser that they had ever seen a chance but in this life Vergil was a new person, not weak and unloved, in this life he would be strong and loved.

Vergil already knew what girls he wanted from this world, Rias and Akeno are a definite yes, Asia most definitely, maybe Koneko and just to piss Sanji off Vergil was going to get his hands on Sona because Sanji had a massive crush on her and Vergil was not a fan of Sanji's character in the anime, well those are all the girls that come at the top of Vergil's head but he would probably think of more later.

[System forgot to remind host that there have been small changes made to some events in this universe, for example since you wanted to be the same age as Rias the timeline has been changed so Kuoh academy is co-Ed in Rias's first year of school instead of her second year at school where the main canon would begin]

"So does that mean the canon would start a year earlier or would still start in the second year of school"

Vergil nodded, this was great news, he would be in the same year as Rias, Sona and Akeno and it would give him a whole year to get closer to those three girls. After coming to that conclusion Vergil decided the most important thing to do at the moment would be to train his Haki and his devil fruit powers, Vergil decided that this time he would go into a D rank dungeon since the E rank one was so easy.

After stepping through the D rank dungeon portal Vergil looked at his surroundings, instead of being in a cave he was now in a large forest, Vergil was looking around until he heard rustling in a near by bush, instead of panicking Vergil closed his eyes, he was using his observation Haki, he sensed something coming towards his head and moved out of the way, he opened his eyes and looked behind him to see what was thrown at him and he saw a knife imbedded in a tree behind him.

Vergil's observation Haki was warning him about something behind him and he turned around to see a green short goblin lunging at him with a short sword, Vergil dogged the lunge, he decided that using this goblin would be a great way to train his observation Haki, so he closed his eyes again and allowed his senses to tell him where the next attack from the goblin would come from, Vergil was ducking and weaving around each of the goblins attack faster and more efficiently with every second that passed, the longer Vergil used his observation Haki to doge the attacks the more he could feel his Haki improving as he knew where the attack would be coming from earlier than before and even though Vergil had his eyes closed he had a clear image of what the goblin looked like and it's movements in his head.

After about a minute of dodging the attacks Vergil could feel that his observation Haki was no longer improving so he decided to switch it up and instead of dodging Vergil used his armament Haki to reinforce the part of the body that the goblin was trying to stab or cut with its short sword. The process was the same as before Vergil continued to reinforce with his armament Haki until he felt it was no longer improving, by this point the goblin was getting tired it's intelligence wasn't high enough for it to realise it couldn't win and run away so instead it continued to attack.

Vergil decided that the goblin would be his first test subject for his conquers Haki, Vergil looked at the goblin and focused his conquers Haki directly on the goblin forcing it to fall to its knees and gasp for breath under the immense pressure of Vergil's conquers Haki, Vergil increased the pressure of his Haki forcing the goblin into a state of unconscious, Vergil seeing that his conquers Haki was incredibly effective smiled before killing the goblin by stepping on its head with extreme force.

Vergil brought the goblin back as one of his shadow soldiers but stored the new shadow soldier into his shadow since he wanted to use each and every goblin in the dungeon to train his Haki as much as possible. After going through and doing the same thing with each and every goblin in the dungeon Vergil managed to get his observation Haki to level 4 out of 10, his armament Haki to level 3 out of 10 and his conquers Haki was the hardest to level up since it was only at level 2

After clearing out all the goblins in the dungeon Vergil went to face the boss of the dungeon which wasn't a goblin but an orc which towered over Vergil, but height wasn't everything as when the orc swung its massive fists at Vergil he stopped the orcs movements using the stop-stop fruit, Vergil easily took a few steps away from where the orc was attacking and watched as when the orc started moving again it looked confused as it swung its fists down on where Vergil should have been standing, this was interesting to Vergil since it seemed that when someone is stopped using his devil fruit power that person doesn't even realise what happened to them and they don't even realise that they weren't moving at all.

Vergil continued to use his devil fruit power on the orc every time it attacked him, he would stop the orc then would move away from where it was attacking at continuously repeat the process until he could feel his devil fruit power was no longer improving so this time when Vergil stopped the orc he sent a barrage of armament Haki infused fists at multiple parts of the orcs body. The instant Vergil's devil fruit power wore off the orc it was sent flying through multiple trees, Vergil smiled at the level up notifications

When Vergil went to collect his loot he only got a D rank dagger from the defeated boss, it seems his protagonist luck passive didn't feel like activating. But Vergil didn't mind he was more than happy with what he already has.
