8 The first date

Rias was waiting out side the shopping mall feeling extremely nervous, she kept checking her reflection to make sure she looked nice for her date with Vergil, she hadn't known Vergil long but in the short time she's known him he left a very good impression on her, he was strong and he seemed nice he was willing to help her with her engagement problem and the fact he was handsome was an added bonus.

Rias couldn't help but think that if she was engaged to someone like Vergil instead of the arrogant self centred Riser then she wouldn't actually mind marrying him, Rias then realised that she had basically stated that she wouldn't mind marrying Vergil and blushed, 'Snap out of it Rias you only know the guy for a few days and you're already crushing on him' Rias knew that she had developed a crush on Vergil and she had tried to tell herself that she shouldn't have a crush on a boy she just met but it didn't work and thoughts about him kept entering her mind.

"Hey Rias" Rias jumped from hearing someone right behind her, "Great Satan don't scare me like that Vergil" Vergil laughed at her comment, "Hahah well you were the one standing there daydreaming" Rias blushed realising the only reason she didn't notice him coming was because she was thinking about him, "Well why did you want to have our date at the shopping mall anyway? Rias asked after managing to compose herself, Vergil just looked towards Rias and smiled, "Well because I heard there was going to be an anime convention at the mall today and I'm a pretty big fan of anime and manga so I bought 2 V.I.P passes if you want one"

After hearing what Vergil said Rias had stars in her eyes, she loved anime and manga but she could never find anyone who shared the same amount of passion for anime like her, "Wait you like anime too?!" Vergil just smiled and nodded, Rias was ecstatic she thought that Vergil would just take her to a movie or something like that but she got a pleasant surprise. "Well what are you waiting for let's go Vergil" Rias grabbed Vergil and spent the next few hours dragging him around to all the different stalls and buying figures and merchandise, if Vergil didn't have such a high amount of physical strength he doubted he would be able to carry the amount of bags Rias made him carry.

"Wow that was great, I even got a few new figures for my collection" Vergil looked down at the large pile of bags on the floor and then back at Rias, her detention of 'few' was definitely different to his but it wasn't his money that was spent on the figures so he didn't care. After Vergil and Rias went to a more private location in an empty park Rias opened a teleportation circle and teleported all her new purchases to her home.

She turned around and faced Vergil slightly embarrassed, "Sorry about dragging you around the whole time I get carried away sometimes" Vergil shrugged "Don't worry about it I had fun too, I'm just glad you had fun" Rias smiled hearing that, most people don't like to put up with her habit of going overboard when it came to anime and manga and some said it isn't befitting someone who was born into the Gremory house but Vergil didn't see her as Rias Gremory he just saw her as Rias and treated her like a normal girl.

"Yeah I did have a lot of fun, and I wouldn't mind doing it again" Rias said the last part in a small whisper, Vergil just looked at Rias and walked until he was directly in front of her looking down at her big blue eyes, he put his right hand on her chin and lifted he head up and kissed her on the lips, Rias didn't fight against the kiss instead she wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him in closer.

After a few seconds Vergil pulled away from the kiss and looked at Rias who's face looked almost as red as her hair, he smiled while looking at her "Wow the guys at school would be so jealous if they knew that I not only managed to get a date with you but also get a kiss, I might brag about this on Monday" Rias playfully hit his chest, Vergil laughed and Rias smiled, they stayed on each other's arms for a few moments.

After a few moments Rias reluctantly pulled away from his embrace, "Thanks for today Vergil I really did enjoy myself" Vergil nodded, "Yeah me too I would definitely love to do it again" after saying their goodbyes Rias opened a magic teleportation circle and went home, Vergil smiled and decided to walk home replaying their earlier kiss in his head.
