4 E rank dungeon part/2

Virgil looked at the boss and the wolves surrounding it and sent a mental command for his resurrected wolves to attack. Virgil watched as he saw his shadow soldiers fighting against the boss and the other wolves, every time his soldiers were destroyed they were reformed, Vergil felt as if he was being drained as his soldiers were continuously being destroyed.

[The reason host feels drained is because you lose mana every time one of your shadow soldiers is reformed]

Vergil nodded in understanding, thanks to his ability as the shadow dragon monarch he didn't even need to fight against the boss as the longer he and his soldiers fought the stronger they got so even though at the start his wolves were struggling to even hit the boss after about 40 seconds of fighting the tables have turned and now it's Vergil's shadow soldiers who have the advantage.

Vergil decided it was finally time to just end it so he used his now increased speed to appear in front of the boss and punch its head off cleanly, as soon as Virgils fist connected to with the boss wolf's head it exploded.

Vergil nodded, he looked at the corpses of the boss wolf and the wolves that were guarding it and spoke, "{Arise}" shadows started to come out of the corpses on the floor and formed into the shape of the 5 wolves that were guarding the boss and the slightly bigger wolf that used to be the boss.

[Protagonist's luck (passive) activated, due to this being the first boss you've killed the chance of an A rank drop is guaranteed]

Vergil was excited, the last time the skill activated he got something amazing so hopefully he'll get something good here as well.

[The stop-stop fruit is a Paramecia type fruit that allows the user to 'stop' anything, the more proficient the user is at using the fruit the more things you can 'stop' and the longer you can stop them, the reason the rank of the fruit is unknown is because all devil fruit have the potential to become powerful, it is the user that makes the fruit strong not the other way around, also host won't have the drawback of not being able to swim so you don't have to worry about avoiding water]

Vergil understood what the system told him, any fruit can be strong the user just needs to find a way to use it, Vergil looked at his right hand and he saw a red fruit with no stem on it, it was small and could fit in his hand and perfectly round, Vergil took a bite into it and almost threw up. It was the most terrible thing he has ever tasted, it tasted rancid but that didn't stop him, he continued to eat the fruit.

After finishing it Vergil noticed there was no aftertaste, Vergil looked at his hands and legs, there was no visible change, Vergil looked around the cave hand saw a small stone on the floor, wanting to test out his new devil fruit powers he picked it up and threw it into the air, he then focused on the stone wanting it to stop moving, and it did the stone stopped mid air and stayed there for a few seconds before dropping down onto the floor. Vergil noticed that the stone didn't have any of its previous momentum before he stopped it.

Vergil's thought process was interrupted by the system.

In a blinding flash of light Vergil was back in his kitchen, he looked around and he confirmed that he was back home, he then looked at the clock on the kitchen wall and noticed how it hasn't even been a full minute since he left and went into the dungeon, Vergil was happy that time in the dungeon moved differently to time in the real world, but what excited him more was the prospect of being able to use Haki.

Vergil lifted his right hand up and looked at it, he concentrated his will on just his right hand, Vergil watched with wide eyes and a smile as he watched the colour of his arm darken and turn black, Vergil was overwhelmed with happiness, one of his favourite powers in anime has always been Haki, his favourite was observation Haki since if a person trained it hard enough they could use their observation Haki to basically see into the future and to Vergil that was incredible.

Vergil then decided to use his observation Haki, he closed his eyes and spread out his senses, even though he had his eyes closed he felt as if he could see better with his Haki than his eyes, he could pick up on the sound of wings flapping from the birds in his back garden, the presence of an ant that was on the kitchen counter to his left, he even knew that a drop of water was about to drop from his tap a second before it happened.

Vergil opened his eyes to see the drop of water fall from the tap just as he predicted, it was an incredible feeling to be able to know what would happen before it happened, Vergil wanted to use his conquerers Haki but he didn't have any test subjects to use it on, he decided he would save that for later. "Status"
