10 Results of the second month

Shanks's pov: For the next month, I committed and quickly got used to my new training regiment. Rayleigh showed some exercises that increase my flexibility and body control. The method I stuck to was wearing weighted clothing first and then performing the first four Rokushiki that I got good at performing on the first day of the month. That took four days to get used to. I got used to it quickly thanks to "Essence of the Blank.'' It seems that it enhanced my talent in the body department. I was nonetheless thankful for it . The next step of this method was to fight the animals on the island while wearing weighted clothing. This was troublesome to get to as I depleted my stamina faster than normal but it helped me build up greater stamina and endurance which was crucial with monsters like Kaidou,Linlin,Akainu and Aokiji running around with their monstrous bodies which gave them endurance to fight for days to weeks in the future. Anyway, it took six days to get used to fighting properly with the extra weight but "Essence of the Blank'' Came in clutch again. I then went on to the next step of the method, which was simple but dangerous. I went into the body of water closest to the island and fought whatever I found in the ocean. Sea kings were the most common enemies I found in the water and it took twelve days to get used to fighting sea kings one on one and sometimes in groups. The environment helped me build up strength as fighting sea kings with my hands rather than using my sword was still challenging. Fighting the animals on the island became way too easy as soon as I got used to fighting normally in the water. Adding armament was overkill when fighting them. I even sometimes my swordsmanship in the water against the sea kings. For my marksmanship practice, I hunted the birds on the island that participated in the first beast horde. I was blindfolded during it and had to constantly use my observation to make sure I shot the right species of birds. My bird hunting spree during the whole month meant my whole menu was filled with bird meat with some sea kings for variety,the wine was icing on the meals. My control over my armament haki drastically improved as Rayleigh said it would, which I was happy about . Using emission and Ryou became easier than ever and I adjusted all my attacks to be able to use them with. Now , I can use emission and Ryou for the entirety of a whole fight without much trouble.This meant i could fight longer with all my power and i could make use of my regular and special attacks longer with little to no drawback except the normal loss in stamina. Speaking of attacks, after two weeks and a half of the same training schedule , I created new ones and started working on improving the four Rokushiki techniques I had completely mastered. I even managed to incorporate Soru into Geppo for faster aerial movement. I mastered that before applying the concept of Rankyaku to my hands instead of my feet.This wasn't hard to master either as Zorro did something similar with his no sword style after the timeskip. Enhancing that armament gave birth to the attack"Sword-hand'' which worked by applying Ryou onto the slash created by hand like how i coated regular slashes that had Ryou in them. It was also easier as all I required was my body to use which made its battle applications high as I can use it in almost any environment. I spent the last days before the end of the month trying to evolve Soru into something like flash step from the 'UQ Holder ' anime. It was surprisingly easy to develop and took me two days to completely master. It worked on the principle of kicking the air instead of the ground to move from point a to point b in quick succession. While similar to Geppo as you kick the air and Soru as you travel in a straight line in its basic form, I managed to master it ,in two days, to the point that I can change the direction I'm traveling to instead of just moving in a straight line like Kizaru with his light fruit ability. The next move I created or rather recreated was Garp's "Galaxy impact" which was sadly weaker. Due to my hands having a lot of strength compared to a normal person and most hand to hand combat fighters, the strength aspect of the technique was the easiest part . The problem that inevitably made the technique weaker than Garp's "Galaxy impact" was that I didn't know how to use advanced conquerors' haki to coat my hand in it to deal the greatest damage possible while adding on emission to create a proper and big shock wave like Garp. But then I remembered that in the manga, Koby performed a similar technique that was weaker than Garp but could be performed in any direction. Koby's attack only used advanced armament haki to create a shock wave by applying emission and sending that shock wave in almost any direction. So I tried applying the principle and it worked.After an hour, performing koby's " Honesty impact" was within my reach and I only had to fix the recoil my hands felt . Another hour and I had down as I added Ryou to have full control of the direction and the intensity of the technique. Now I only had to work on mastering it to use it in battle without losing an abnormal amount of stamina. For the next two days, I became proficient in performing my version of " Honesty impact" which I renamed into " Flowing impact" due to how my haki flowed into hands before creating a shockwave in whatever direction I desired. Since I had fourteen teen days left before the month was over, I decided to focus on completely mastering the six techniques to perform Rokugan. It took two days to completely master Tekkai to the level I could use it while moving at my top speed without any major drawbacks. The muscle control also helped in mastering kami-e and Shigen. Shigen was the easiest to completely master as it took twelve hours while Kami-e took another two days to completely master. I had ten days left which I spent mainly sparring with the island animals and sea kings in the ocean using all sorts of hand to hand techniques. I also worked on full body armament coating which was draining to constantly use but it increased my stamina and endurance. I worked on coating different body parts individually while fighting. I tried it on my legs which momentarily boosted my speed but I needed a good amount of focus to keep it on for longer fights. I worked on that and got it down in two days which left me with eight days until I had to start sparring with Rayleigh again. I spent those eight days focusing on exercises like meditation but I still fought the island animals and the sea kings in the sea. Fighting the sea kings in the sea for weeks also increased my breathing capacity which was a plus in my book and I also increased my swimming proficiency. I did all of this while wearing weighted clothing which I only took off two ties to test my improvements and they were astounding. And at the end of the month, I once again was on my way to the primitive arena on the island to restart my sparring days with the Dark king himself, whom I hadn't seen during the entire month.
