26 Proper Fight 2

Shanks Pov:  I just grinned at the approaching human-bear hybrid as I propelled myself towards him while imbuing my saber with Ryou. We clashed mid air and I pushed him back immediately as my haki was stronger and thus managed to bypass his innate zoan defense and damage him internally. He coughed blood as he fell towards the ground once more. I expected him to keep falling but his zoan's healing factor seemed to have kicked in and healed him as he adjusted himself right before he hit the ground. He let out a low growl before he attacked me the moment my feet touched the ground as he appeared above me trying to cut me in half with his armament coated sword. I dogged to the right before releasing a slash imbued with Ryou that almost left a scar on him as he dodged to the right just in time,probably thanks to his heightened instincts that probably clocked up his observation haki in this hybrid form. He blocked my strike as I appeared next to him on his left and both our swords let out a small shock wave as both of us fought for dominance and we were evenly matched this time. This came as no surprise to me as a hybrid zoan's strength was no joke,especially in the hands of a competent fighter like this guy. He seemed surprised though which was also understandable as he probably expected me to falter with his increased strength in this form. We both pushed each other back moments later as we both slid backwards and left a small trail of fire before we both disappeared and clashed once again with our swords imbued in haki. This scene was repeated as we slowly destroyed the forest, occasional shock waves from our armament haki clashing and wind slashes being thrown around.We fought for two hours straight before the forest was in complete shambles . We jumped back from each other once again as we both took a couple of seconds to examine our current conditions. I was relatively fine with little to no slashes as I made sure I wasn't caught lacking at any point in time during the two hour fight that devastated our surroundings. The bear on the other hand sported two bleeding hands and a huge X slash on his chest. He had many cuts and bruises on all parts of his body that seemed to slowly be healing thanks to him being a zoan user. He also seemed to be slightly winded out as he was breathing a little hard. During the fight, I had observed how he behaved and he seemed to be in control as his movements were not that of a sloppy fighter. His moves also seemed calculated ,like when he switched to an defensive approach after i continuously out-sped him and kept reacting to his top speed with little to no problem. Another trait I had observed as we clashed for two hours in silence was his surprising proficiency in armament haki in contrast to my initial expectations as I expected him to know only the basics of the two types of haki. While he didn't have  future sight like me, his sensing capabilities were impressive and his proficiency in armament haki was even better as he could use emission and full body armament coating. While not a haki monster, he certainly wasn't that bad and with more training could probably fight some of the future yonko commanders on equal terms if he also awakens his devil fruit. But those were just my assumptions based on my knowledge that could be inaccurate. I slipped back to reality as I sensed him doing something that surprised me. He embedded his sword into the ground behind him and then turned to face me. He then took an animalistic stance as he imbued armament into his claws that seemed to have grown longer. He then moved towards me at fast speeds as appeared in front of me with his claws that seemed as sharp as a sword in slashing motion. I jumped up as the ground below me was covered in five deep claw marks a second later. I grinned once more before armament haki flowed through my sword and I released a [Sovereign Departure], which was a red wind slash  mixed with the properties of Ryou and emission to create a strong attack meant to damage all parts of the body regardless of innate defenses. The attack hit him not a second later and a shock wave was released in the general area as a consequence  ,but I stayed on alert while grinning as I sensed his movements at faster speeds  than he ever displayed during our two hour clash five seconds later as he jumped through the dust gathered in the aftermath of my attack. He appeared flying through the air with his claws covered in armament haki ready to slice me into pieces and I responded in kind as I imbued my saber with both Ryou and emission the moment we clashed mid air. There was silence for a second before a large shock wave was released in the aftermath of our collision as slight red and white lightning was released in our general area. I won in the end as the hybrid was forced to fall downwards once again. I prepared an attack as he was falling that would for sure damage him. I took a deep breath while in the air before I released it while raising my saber in a swinging motion. I then said in a chilling whisper only I could hear,[ False red moon wheel]. A second later , a destructive red omni-directional sword slash shaped like a wheel covering a moon was released in the direction of the falling hybrid and connected. The hybrid was quick to coat his whole body in armament haki as the attack hit and two large gashes appeared on his body as he bled so fast he started to revert to his human form. His fall created a second fifty meter crater  around the area we were fighting on.I watched as a large part of the ground below was also cut in half and the cut extended so far to the point it almost reached one of the towns on the island.
