13 End Results and New month

Shank's Pov:  I woke up once again to a clear blue sky in the middle of the day. It took a moment before memories of what happened  before I blacked settled in my mind and I felt like curing out loud. Getting knocked out by a shockwave  and a sword coated  in conquerors haki was not pleasant at all. That stuff hurt. Anyway, based on both of the fights, I'd say I improved by leaps and bounds for this month. While Rayleigh never fought me at full power,I'd say fighting the dark king when he is at eight percent is a big achievement that most pirates and marines could not boast about. I can just imagine the disbelief people would be in if they found out a fif-teen year old fought  the Dark king himself for hours and survived . As I was thinking about my massively improved combat prowess, I heard footsteps approaching. I looked behind me only to find Rayleigh dragging a massive sea king with one hand effortlessly like it's another Tuesday for him. He looked at me for a second before he set down the sea king. He then said " Can you gather a good amount of extra wood to keep the fire going? I'll cut up the sea king and render its meat before cooking it. In the meantime, prepare the wine along with the sauce for the food". I replied by standing and stretching before I said " sure''  with a grin and I picked up my sword before diving into the forest to find some good wood for a proper cook out in the middle of an island in the freaking calm belt. It didn't take me long to find some and I was back to where Rayleigh was in no time as I smelled the seasoning from the meat a mile away. I was like a dog who just found out he was eating his greatest meal for the day as I was sniffing the whole way back to the camp. The other animals seemed to have also caught the smell as I passed by some who were drooling and I had to blast them with my conqueror's haki just to be extra safe about the food. When it comes to the food and I haven't eaten in a while, I don't play about it. I arrived just in time as Rayleigh seemed to have almost finished cooking them. I made a mental note to ask to teach me how to cook like he does later along with navigation and some basic shipwrite skills.  I put the pile of extra wood to the side before I sat down and he passed me a plate of sea king meat that smelled delicious. I wasted no time and took a bite. I don't know what sauce this man put on it (it looked like BBQ sauce but i wasn't sure) cuz I have never heard a one piece chef use barbeque sauce in any of their meals ,but it tasted like beef brisket with barbeque sauce on it.  I took a bite ,and another ,and another ,and another until there was nothing left. Rayleigh was quite the entire team eating from his plate. He passed a bottle of wine that I finished in four long sips. He passed another plate of sea king meat and I did not any time once more. After practically devouring the sea king meat, I drank some wine from a second bottle before I said " That was good food. You have got to teach me to cook like you. If I knew how to cook like you did as I was sailing to Sabaody, I wouldn't have to eat fish everyday on the sea. Anyway,what do you think of current combat capabilities ". A smile appeared on his face before he laughed when I talked about my fish diet when I was sailing to Sabaody from Loguetown. After having his expense at me  about my adventure to Loguetown, he took a long sip from his bottle of wine before he sighed. He then said " Your improvements in combat and haki proficiency are scary good.Your haki and swordsmanship alone should allow you to fight and win against Rear admirals. Add on your Rokushiki mastery and your mastery in advanced armament haki and fighting and winning against Vice  admirals ,experienced or not, is not a problem for you. Well,normal Vice admirals anyway. The ones like Garp and Tsuru are currently above what you can handle. But with your rate of progress, I can expect you to get stronger than Tsuru in no time as combat isn't exactly her strong suit. Garp on the other hand will take longer to surpass with his scary master in armament and conqueror's haki. In fact,it be easier to surpass the current admirals then to surpass Garp, especially since he is still in his prime and can fight at his peak with little to no issue. Other than that, your combat skills are good,scary, good for your age , exceptional even. The only thing we have to work on now is polishing your fighting style and swordsmanship to the highest degree possible in the next months of training. With that said, since you grasped advanced armament haki techniques pretty quickly compared to a normal person, we'll try to sharpen your observation haki. We'll do this by blindfolding you and having you dodge continuous long range attacks from my sword. I 'll use a bow and arrow as even though it's not my specialty, it's a skill I'd say I'm pretty good at considering I ultimately chose to pursue the path of a swordsman. You also get full powered blasts of conquerors haki from me in every spar so you can build experience on how to control it. This exercise might even help strengthen your own conquerors,although that's just a big IF. Other than that, we'll be sparring daily until you drop down everyday for the rest of the month and maybe even the months after that." I took in what he said with a grain of surprise. Him being a pseudo bow and arrow wielder wasn't as surprising as it was when I first heard him tell that to the crew when we were sailing with captain Roger. Everybody was shocked that a swordsman as good as Rayleigh could have been an archer. It just wasn't imaginable. He in inturn explained that he came from a family of hunters, royal to be specific. That was another shock. Finding out  Rayleigh was royalty as Rayleigh had never shown any signs or acted like a typical noble born person. Anyways, he was born from the Silvers family. They were the  royal family of the kingdom of Venatores before it was mysteriously destroyed. The kingdom used to be one of the first islands you would see after leaving Fishman island. Anyway ,it was abundant in so many animals that the first tribe to settle on it,that later on became the Silver family,established the kingdom just to create a big enough community to reduce the population of animals to a level where the silver tribe,now silver royal family, could live in peace. Anyways, Rayleigh was a survivor,the only survivor in fact that escaped from the kingdom's mysterious  destruction. After telling this to everyone , they were all silent as they tried to process his story. No one spoke for a while until captain Roger told the chef of the roger pirates to cook up something that would clear the atmosphere and start a party. Anyways, his new training methods will be good for me to improve on my observation and the sparring will do me great wonders. I have no doubt I'll be stronger than I currently am after one of them. I nodded at him and he seemed satisfied with that response as he passed me another plate of sea king meat and we ate in a comfortable silence for the rest of the day. He gave me the night off as we would start training the next day.
