A Place called Samsara

Samsara is an organization built by the people from underwater, the Arina's, as a form of their power over the Beta Urora land which was originally a neutral territory.

The Arina are the rulers of all the seas and waters of Beta Urora. At past, these people are actually rarely appear on the surface, so their existence is much doubted. However, ever since Samsara was founded, the presence of the Undersea began to be wary of. Of course, behind the massive terror of Samsara, the Arina are actually kept their own fear.

Samsara is no more than just a bulwark against the threat they felt.

Thing that the Arina feared the most was the indirect marriage relationship between the sky sovereigns; the Dragon, with Beta Urora's Northern region Ruler. The so-called descendants of the devil, the Ifrit.

A complicated yet a strong-bond relationship between the grandson of the Dragon's Elder, Ares Kennrich Vaiskyler, who is married a human woman whose uncle is the husband of Luna Endley, the Ruler, also the Queen of the Ifrits.

If the Dragons agree to help the Ifrits to take control over Beta Urora, then the destruction will not only occur on the Beta Urora mainland. But it also affected to Atlan; the underwater world.

Also, other information said that the human man who is Luna Endley's husband is not just an ordinary human being. He possessed an extremely powerful destructive power that was equal to the fire breath of the Dragon Elder or perhaps more.

The Arina chose to move first. Operation Samsara was originally carried out in secret, neat and very well planned. The first step begins with the assassination of Rei Nathanael—Luna Endley's husband—on his expedition to the southern forest.

A year later, they use the chaos resulting from the mysterious death of Rei Nathanael as capital to sneak into the conference in the Tanah Agra—the sacred land of the mighty dragons. These Arinas disguised themselves as invited guest and in the middle of the conference, they attacked and managed to kill the Dragon Elder, Evanosk Vaiskyler. After that, a massive arson ensued and just in one night, Tanah Agra turned into chaos.

Simultaneously, an attack operation against the castle of the Ifrits in the North was carried out. The operation actually has one main goal, mainly to collect the power of the Black Deadly Fire which in Luna Endley possession. However, this operation was considered as a half failure because the Queen of the Ifrit managed to escape. But instead, the Arinas managed to capture the only daughter of Luna Endley and Rei Nathanael, who was just 3 years old at that time.

The operation continues for approximately one and a half until two years. Before the two strongest Kinds above the sea were subdued. The dragons are made like cowards who choose to run and hide, while the Ifrits and Luna Endley are reportedly still in pursuit.

Samsara however, in order to strengthen their strength and provide opportunities for those who wished to join, they began to build their own fortress and open up opportunities for non-Arinas.

As an organization, Samsara of course has structure and rank. There are five levels where the highest is held by an Arina's strongest woman noble. She has a very strong aura. Her eyes were very sharp as if they were able to see deep into the soul of the audience.

This woman is called Lady. Slightly below her, there are the 14 strongest warriors of Samsara. They were a separate group from the main structure of Samsara and only moved from the direct orders of Lady. Of course, all of they are Lady's favorite.

In the second level are the division heads which are filled by pure descendants of the Arina. The division in general is not different with the other organization, such as the division of finance, administration, research, laboratories, kitchens, food, soldiers, search teams, recruitment and so on.

As the third level, usually contains elites, seniors and if in the laboratory or research division, then this third level is filled by professors. This level is among the highest that can be achieved by non-Arinas. Only geniuses or a skillful peoples who are truly very knowledgeable can get a position at this level.

The rest of the fourth level consisted of juniors who had worked for Samsara for two years or more. While the fifth level there are manual workers, trainee soldiers and prisoners.

Well, when it comes to Samsara, the most interesting topic is about Lady's 14 strongest warriors. There is a unique system at work here. Anyone can challenge them. As long as the challenger wins, then he is entitled to the position.

Due to being a separate group, these 14 warriors did not look at the status of whether they were pure Arinas or non-Arinas. As long as they are loyal and most important is attach Lady's interest.

So, what if that person turns out to be very boring for Lady? Well, that woman has thousands of ways to get rid of that lowly person. Of course it has been proven that many are eliminated until the current 14 warriors are formed who are truly Lady's favorite people.

Even though they don't look at the status, internally the 14 warriors still have the strongest rank held by numbers; number 1 in sequence to number 14. Each of them has its own uniqueness, both in terms of fighting techniques, strength and lastly accessory of number-marker.

The accessory are in the form of a mask. Each level already has its own mask design. The goal is that they can cover their faces when carrying out secret tasks. But gradually the 14 warrior were given the freedom to wear them or not. Because in reality it is just a mere number-marker.

Among these 14 masks, the most mysterious and respected is the plain white full-face mask with one eye hole on the left. The design of the mask is completely plain, flat, without curves, without color paint or scratches that resemble a human face.

The owner of the mask himself is always given a task by Lady to destroy a certain political family. He always manages to finish it in one night no matter how big the family member are. There is not a single living witness who can tell what power he used or the appearance of the figure behind the mask. The only clue that left behind was a playing card with an image of a plain one-eyed mask that was deliberately left near the corpse of the head of the family.

With such a terrible power base, in the 10th Month of the Year XX71, Samsara was officially became the new ruler of the Beta Urora.
