4 Visual Prowess

The tsukuyomi had been released. The man lie there, possessing only one eye. The group still standing at the gate; was confused. Taiyo was panting, with a sharingan in his eye. He covered it.

'What did I just do? Crystal Style?' He froze, pondering his past actions.

"What just happened?" Darasu asked.

"Oh, um.. This gate guy put me in some genjutsu. Tsukuyomi." He answered.

"Why?" Darasu asked yet again.

"This must be some kind of ambush. Everyone, keep your head on your shoulders. Watch out!" Taiyo warned, trying to protect himself his teammates gaining knowledge on his unnecessary murder.

'How have they not noticed my Sharingan?' Taiyo wondered.

"Almighty Push!"

The jounins were sent flying away, crashing into the wall.

"What in the world was that?!" Tsuki questioned.

"Chita, quick, use your Byakugan!" Pierre had a suspicion on who was doing that.

Chita scanned the area with her 360 degree vision. She was able to locate the figure and she pointed. "There!"

Pierre rushed ahead in the direction Chita pointed. He could now see the figure hiding in the bushes.

"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!" The bushes were cleared. He was able to see a shoe as the person dashed up into another area.

"Attraction!"

Pierre was pulled towards the person. A hand was placed on his chest. "Ahhh!" He hissed as he could feel his chakra being absorbed. *Bam. A violent punch was landed on his stomach, causing Pierre to cough up blood.

"Almighty Push!"

Pierre was yet again thrusted against the wall.

"It's the Rinnegan! He's using the Rinnegan!" Hikari shouted.

Pierre lie at the wall, seriously wounded. 'Dang,' He thought, 'he took all my chakra'.

Hikari and the rest of the jounins scrambled to go attack.

"Almighty Push!"

"BLOCK!" Hikari thought. He had activated his Heizugan and had managed to block the use of Almighty Push on him.

Hikari maintained his speed to charge at the masked man. He pulled out his katana. The katana directly hit on the heart. 'Got him.' He smirkly thought.

Hikari whirled around to his surprise. The masked man was standing 20 meters behind him with a ball of energy in his hand.

"Light Release: Sunshine Sphere!"

The masked man charged at Hikari.

'So much chakra!'

Hikari was so star struck, he couldn't even react. The sphere of light impaled him. The masked man's arm could be seen going through Hikari's chest.

"Oww." Hikari said as ravens flew from his body.

"Genjutsu?!" The man muttered. Cassius had been able to cast a genjutsu on the man. Chita had awoken now, activating her tenseigan. "Attract!" The man was immediately pulled towards Chita. "Hyuh!" She axe kicked the man into the ground.

"Fire Release: Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Heat Palms!" She exclaimed, nailing the man in the ground with chakra flames engulfing her hands, with 128 consecutive punches.

She proclaimed yet again, "Attract!", picking the man up.

"Sutā tanken!" (Star Expedition)

A chakra sphere formed in her hand. Chita launched it at the man's face, breaking the mask open.

"No. No." Pierre got up, able to limp over. "Rukia!" He screamed.

"Wait, wait. The guy we've man calling a man, is actually a woman, and Pierres so-called 'lover'?!" Darasu needed some confirmation.

"Well, apparently, yes." Taiyo added.

Compassionate Tsuki went over to comfort Pierre in his time of distress.

"I-I-I think I actually… Loved her." Pierre said, teary eyed.

"Is she still alive?" A concerned Tsuki asked.

Cassius checked for a pulse. "Yea, she'll survive." He continued. "But whatever Chita landed to her face, really did a number on her."

"Well what do we do now?" Taiyo pondered.

"You guys go ahead, I'll stay with her. I need to rest anyways." Pierre suggested.

"Are you sure?" Tsuki asked.

"Yeah, I'll catch up later." He groaned.

"Ok. Well be waiting for you now," Tsuki said,

"Bye" The jounins waved and they were on their way, yet again.

He waved back and sat back down; waiting for Rukia to awake.

"Why. Why." Rukia was now finally starting to awaken.

"It was," She groaned as she responded,"It was because…" She drifted off.

"I'm leaving. I'm going to catch up with the group." He got up and stretched.

"Wait!" She weakly yelled.

Pierre stopped. "What."

She sputtered. "I did it because… I was forced."

"What...what do you mean? You were forced by who?" Pierre questioned.

"Im, sorry. The people who are trying… to destroy… the village. " She spat.

Shock came upon Pierre's face.

"What?"

"It's a plan… to destroy all of the hidden villages." She replied.

"How? How were you forced?"

"They took something from me that I loved Pierre!"

"What did they take?"

"My… My… My mother."

"Why did you attack us? We could've helped you Rukia!"

"I know… I just… Couldn't." She tried to explain.

Pierre came to an actualization. "What are you not telling me! You know what happened to Kosen!?"

She tried to respond, stuttering.

"Just tell me already! Tell me the truth!" His temper bursted.

"Ok!" she screamed.

"The person they took… was my mother. The people who took out Kumogakure, they took her. They said that when they were taking over the other villages, they'd spare her, me, and you." She had finally revealed her truths.

"I wasn't planning to kill you. I only wanted to drain your chakra so you'd survive."

Pierre was in shock. Rukia loved him. But that wasn't good enough. "Yea? If what you say is true, what were you going to do about my friends?!"

"There…" she digressed, " There was nothing… I… I could do."

Pierre had mixed emotions. He was glad that she was ready to risk her life for him. But his friends, his friends were like a part of him.

"Well. Thanks for telling the truth. I gotta go." He jumped up yet again, ready for takeoff.

"Wait!" She said yet again.

"What?" He replied.

"Let me go with you."

"How do I know you're not trying to betray me?" He exclaimed.

"Because my mother is at stake as well."

By now, Pierre had caught up with the rest of the group, carrying Rukia in his arms.

"Hey guys!" He screamed, about 40 meters behind them,"Look who I brought!"

Taiyo looked behind. "Ah god, he brought that girl!"

The rest of the group looked behind as well. Pierre was now less than a yard away.

"Oh… So you brought the girl who… attacked us." Tsuki commented.

Rukia frowned.

"Im really sorry about that... " She was able to explain the actual situation, at the same time issuing them an apology.

"She claims she's sorry, but how do we know she isnt working with… them." Taiyo whispered to Tsuki.

"Well I guess we just gotta trust Pierre"s wild actions." Tsuki thought those words would never had came out of her mouth. Pierre was smart, but his decisions were rather… impulsive.

"Guys... Lady Hokage told us to avoid any confrontational actions; I think it would be best if we turned back." Taiyo added.

"NO!" Pierre snapped back. "We have an even bigger mission now; more people to protect, more goals to reach. If we go back, they could strike even sooner. We have to get to Kumogakure," Pierre continued, "We cannot leave empty handed."

'Well I will still message Lady Hokage of our findings," Cassius thought.

'I know this is a bad idea.' Chita wearily thought.

The jounins continued running for 2 more days, eventually being able to reach Kumogakure. The city was empty.
