Thunder and Lightning

Chita and Hikari scouted. They were the only life force around within 360 meters of the city.

"Where's all the jounin who were supposed to be meet up with us?" Taiyo said, observing the city.

"Let's check the city out. Everyone keep your guard up!" Pierre warned as they walked throughout the city.

Ruins. The city was in ruins. Everyone had been evacuated out. Pieces of debris from destroyed houses crashed to the ground.

"Those people really did a number on Kumo." Cassius suggested.

"And this is what they'll do to Konoha and the rest of the villages if we don't stop them!" Tsuki replied.

"So you're the ones who made it past…" A man stepped out of the alleyway. He was dressed in a blue robe, with a katana in his right hand. His power was great.

'I thought no one was in the village!' Hikari thought.

"Well you thought wrong." The man was able to read Hikari's thoughts.

"What do you want with us." Darasu added.

"You are the ones, who were able to make it to Kumo. Every other group of jounins perished on the way." The man replied.

'How come...Lady Hokage never warned us?' Pierre thought.

"The message, you jonins initially sent; never reached her." He replied.

Pierre gasped.

"That message the genjutsu medic boy sent, never reached. Remember when that man who attacked you. grabbed the same thigh your messeger was in?" Ryu elaborated.

"Yes, so?" Cassius still had no idea.

"He put a seal that disrupted your caller; it automatically sent a message saying, 'Everything is going well. No problems.' " Ryu said.

"So that time when I sent a message to her saying we were attacked by the rinnegan," Cassius continued,"it said 'Everything is going well. No problems.' instead?"

"Yes," Ryu replied.

"Now, since that's out of the way, its time to battle."

A sharingan formed on his eye. But this was no regular sharingan.

Hikari gasped.

"You… are… Uchiha Ryu," He paused, "of the Sanraizugan." Hikari finished.

"Ahh. Someone recognizes." He replied.

"What? What is this Sonrosugan?" A confused Pierre asked.

"No, it's the Sanraizugan, and it's an evolved form of the Mangekyo Sharingan." He responded.

Pierre still had a confused look on his face.

"Its like Kosen's Komono Sharingan. But instead of Kosen finding his Komono Sharingan through channeling his sharingan chakra for good, Ryu Uchiha got his Sanraizugan from even more despair." Hikari explained.

'Wow. I didn't even know that there was another form of sharingan.' Pierre thought.

"But this is even more powerful than Kosen's Komono. It also allows him to use telekinesis and the ability to control chakra flow." Hikari continued.

Ryu nodded.

"Seems like this boy has some sort of brain." The Uchiha said.

Hikari frowned.

"Well, it's very unfortunate that you won't be able use that brain in battle against me." Ryu Uchiha replied.

Another man stepped out of shadows.

"Ahh. So Mujun, you've finally arrived." Ryu glanced behind his shoulder.

'Oh No. What did I expect? It's impossible to have thunder without lightning.' Thoughts flashed throughout Hikari's head.

"What took you so long?" Ryu questioned the man.

The man that stepped out of the shadows was a quite peculiar looking man; white hair, scars all over his face, but where his mouth should've been; there was just skin.

"Who is this creep?" Taiyo questioned.

The man whipped around, death staring Taiyo.

'AHH! This guy is crazy!' Taiyo was immediately caught in the intimidating gaze of the man.

"That 'creep' you are speaking of, is the greatest ninjutsu user the leaf has ever seen." Darasu explained.

"Mujun Hatake." The group simultaneously spoke.

"So it would seem, you're more popular than me Mujun." Ryu chuckled.

"You, you once took out a whole nation with a single devastating jutsu." Hikari said to the Hatake, who nodded back.

'A single jutsu, huh.' Tsuki thought.

"Well, enough for getting acquainted, what do you guys want from us?!" Pierre exclaimed.

"Huh, why the rush Mr. Hayashi?" The Uchiha replied.

"Cause I know you know where my friend Kosen is."

"The talented Uchiha?" Ryu asked.

"My friend." He lay Rukia down, who had still not yet recovered.

"Kosen Uchiha. Creator of the Komono Sharingan. Too bad I never had, and never will see it in action," he continued,"well i mean with its original user."

"What are you trying to say, Ryu?" Pierre screamed, flustered.

"That man, we sent, to capture Kosen. Well, I can see that you've already figured it out. We completely dismantled his atomical structure." He continued, "But not all of him; the most valuable part of him, the Komono eyes, were not. They were sent to Mujun's dimension." Ryu explained.

"You're lying!" Pierre screamed, tears now streaming down his face.

"If I was, how would this happen." Ryu pointed to Mujun, whose eyes had by now transformed.

'No. It can't be!' The group thought as Kosen's former sharingan, was now in Mujun's eye.

"GAHH!" Pierre yelled, "YOU'RE GONNA PAY!"

He instantly charged at Ryu throwing a powerful punch, directly to the Uchiha's cheek.

Ryu stood straight, without a single flinch.

He grabbed Pierre's hand, twisting it, leaving Pierre screaming. He then summoned some of his earth chakra, delivering a brutal blow to Pierre's ribs. Ryu then tossed Pierre in the dirt.

'This guy is strong,' Chita thought, as she activated her tenseigan.

"Attract!" She shouted; but to her dismay- Ryu was not instantly pulled towards her.

'What?' She thought.

In a blur, Mujun was standing right in front of Chita, with a blade made of lava, cutting through Chita' s face.

Tsuki was next to join the battle, yelling, "Lightning Release: Thunder Spear!"

The spear of electricity charged at the men, with Ryu jumping in front of the bolt, slicing it completely in half, with nothing but his bare hands.

"Try harder." Ryu laughed as he avoided the bolt.

Tsuki took into action shouting, "Plant Style: Deadly Forest Strangling!"

She summoned a multitude of deadly plants, which leached onto Mujun and Ryu's bodies, holding a tight grip on it; sucking the chakra from their bodies..

Ryu and Mujun simply released a smile as they phased from the grip of the plants while they withered away.

All Tsuki could do was stand still, as Ryu charged at her, bearing his sword in his hand, ripping through the flesh in her arm.

'My sharingan… should I activate it? No, everyone will know.' Taiyo stood, contemplating his decisions.

Darasu was next to attack, taking out his beloved, yet powerful chakra sword.

Using his swift release, he was able to quickly run behind Mujun, impaling Mujun in the back.

A glaring hole was left in his back with the sword protruding from it.

With the hand opposite, Darasu formed 4 hand seals, yelling, "Lighting Release: Streak of Thunder!"

The electric shock poured through the flow of his blade, to ensure death had came upon Mujun.

A muffled noise ran from the place where Mujun's mouth should have been.

Darasu stood, trying to pinpoint the where the noise was.

The muffled noise increased, and increased.

The noise got louder, distracting Darasu to the point where he could not feel the grip tightening on his sword.

By the time he looked, it was now visible to see that the blade that was used to impale Mujun was being forced out, with the wound on his back getting smaller.

Darasu gasped.

Mujun extracted the blade from his back, with Darasu still maintaining his grip on the sword.

Mujun grabbed the Namikaze by the neck, gripping harder, and harder, until there was no air left for Darasu.

He threw the breathless body in the air, the body crashing somewhere in the trees.

The rest of the jounin watch in awe, incapable of learning how to defeat their mighty foes.

Hikari and Cassius dashed together, with Hikari taking Ryu head on, using his taijutsu.

He punched and kicked with all of his might unable to land a single hit on Ryu.

Ryu chuckled as he blocked all of Hikari's attempts at a hit.

Cassius stood from afar, trying to cast Mujun in a genjutsu.

Mujun was suddenly caught drifting, in nothingness.

Cassius was able to control Mujun's heartbeat, breathing, and all of his senses.

He was left in this abyss of nothing for what seemed like days.

It was just Mujun and what seemed to be death, in this dark world.

A quite devastating jutsu, Cassius had never seen anyone escape this.

Meanwhile, Hikari's attempt at eliminating Ryu with his taijutsu, was not going to plan. He was getting tired, and quickly. He leaped back to try and reevaluate the situation with his Heizugan.

"Multi Lightning Clone Technique!" Hikari split into 200 more lighting clones, an aura of bolts shot out from the clones.

"Lightning Rage Technique!" The clones simultaneously proclaimed.

As they surrounded the Uchiha, they all slapped the ground, sending waves of electric chakra everywhere, able to be felt from more than 5 miles away.

The scene went up in smoke.

The smog covering everywhere left Hikari was complacent with his successful attack; and presumably great victory over Uchiha Ryu.

"Cough, cough." The voice sighed. "Scorch Release: Furious Lion!". The smoke and the leftover lightning marks were whisked away by a great whirlwind of fire; with Hikari being unfortunately caught in it as well.

Ryu stepped out of the smokes with a giant smirk on his face. To know that the boy Hikari had thought he had defeated him, just to snatch that hope away with such ease.

Cassius now was planning his attack to strike the final blow against Mujun.

'All I have to do now is release the genjutsu," he thought, "and he will die from abrupt shock. If he doesn't I'll just have to use my specialty ninjutsu.'

"Release!" He shouted. Mujun instantly dropped to the floor, blood spurting out of his mouth.

'Time to finish it," Cassius thought, "Earth Release: Molding Creation!" he finished, forming multiple hand signs.

A huge chunk of the land spat up from the ground; Cassius molding it to form a multitude of tinier earth kunai knives; 2500 kunai to be exact. He shot them at the ground, piercing all over Mujun's entire body.

Cassius stood, huffing and puffing; chakra depleted. He snickered. He had just taken down one of the most powerful (and one of the most ruthless) shinobi to ever live.

He went over to the corpse to check for life.

*Whoosh!

Mujun was now checking Cassius's pulse; Cassius laying on the floor, with 2500 kunai knives splattered over his body.

'What? No… how?' Cassius thought. He was barely clinging to life, being in the exact situation that Mujun was supposedly in a few moments ago.

He was able to see Mujun from the corner of his eye. He wasn't in Mujun's body, so it wasn't a body switch. 'Could it… be…. No .. It's not the end… it can't be.' Cassius drifted off in his thoughts, impaled by the very kunai he had crafted.

Ryu stared into the area the leaf's shinobi had just stood, to see Taiyo Senju alone, quivering and trembling in fear, unable to move.

"Foolish Senju." Ryu muttured.

In a flash, he was staring into the eyes of Taiyo, now less than 3 feet away from him.

Taiyo went pale.

Ryu launched his fist back, and plowed it into the middle of Taiyo's stomach.

Taiyo coughed up blood, right into the face of Ryu as he was sent flying backwards.

Ryu manically cowled at the sight of the jounins bodies lying on the ground, them being so easily defeated.

Pierre trembled to stand up. "Ah," he grunted in pain, clenching his ribs.

He froze to see the rest of his friends, who's fates were unknown.

He looked behind him, to see Rukia still asleep through the battle.

"You… You Monster!" He screamed. "Why are you doing this?!"

"For that information," Ryu continued,"Is none of your business!"

"You Bastard! You're gonna pay!" Pierre Jabbed.

He weakly bit his thumb, forming multiple hand signs and yelling, "Summoning Jutsu: Byakko, Great White Tiger!"

Suddenly a gigantic white tiger appeared, wielding a saber engulfed in fire chakra.

Pierre smiled as he towered over Ryu and Mujun, while Byakko had transported Pierres friends to a safer area.

"Ryu Uchiha… It's been a while." The tiger spoke.

"Wait," Pierre spattered, "Mr. Byakko; you know these guys?"

"Yes… Thunder and Lightning. Ryu Uchiha and Mujun Hatake." He responded.

"When was the last time we battled? Was it…" Byakko said.

"The battle… that killed the 7th Mizukage!" Ryu chimed in.

"Yes. The battle that disgraced you; sending you down this road of darkness and suffering!" Spat the tiger.

Ryu snickered.

"But that was of the past. I still got rid of the 7th Mizukage." He sneered.

"But was it worth it?! Your quest just to simply cause more pain and despair to the world? Did you get what you wanted and feel fulfilled?" The white tiger furiously let out his emotions to Ryu.

'What is Byakko talking about? The killer of the 7th Mizukage?' Pierre confused thoughts ran throughout his mind.

"Silence!" The Uchiha blurted. "Enough chit-chat. Time for a summon of my own!" Ryu continued; activating his sharingan. "Summoning Jutsu!" And by now, a huge crow was summoned.

Pierre glanced in awe of the crow Ryu had summoned.

"Yatagarasu." Ryu said as he and Mujun stood atop the giant 3 footed crow.

"Yatagarasu! Kekkei Tota Collaboration!" Ryu shouted.

"Atom Style: One Million Chakra Scythes!" Ryu yelled.

"Vajra Style: Coat of Irresistible Force!" The crow shrieked.

Out of Ryu's hands, a million blades that were made by fusing the atoms in the air and using Ryu's own chakra. A ball of some type of vajra style chakra flew out of Yatagarasu mouth, covering the scythes in the chakra coating. The blades flew at Pierre and Byakko.

"Oh-" The word paused at Pierre went into fear seeing what was now being thrown at them. Time paused.

Pierre had his full ability of movement still, looking as the blades stood in time.

Suddenly he was flashed into a place unknown to him.

"Hello there." A voice quietly said.

"Where am I? Who said that?" Worry and fear came upon Pierre's face as he backed and moved around trying to move through this unfamiliar place.

"Don't be scared." The voice said yet again.

"Who are you?!" Pierre's fear turned to anger from his lack of understanding.

"I… I am Chomei."

"Like I said, Who?" Pierre questioned.

"Chomei. The seventh tailed beast, created by Hagoromo Otsutsuki; the great sage of the sixth paths."

'The 7 tails? Where am I?' Pierre thought. "Come out! Reveal yourself!"

The tailed beast appeared before Pierre.

"Ahh!" Curiosity and fear were now the main emotions visible in Pierre's face.

Pierre observed the seven winged beatle with the helmet like skull.

"Where… Where are we? What are we doing here? I thought I was fighting Ryu and Mujun?"

"Pierre, I must reveal to you. Luckily we are in your mindscape so they can't touch us." Chomei said.

Pierre gasped.

"How are you in my thoughts Chomei?" Pierre asked.

"Because… I was sealed into you." Chomei replied.

"What?" Pierre was so confused.

"You, Pierre Hayashi, are the jinchuriki of the luckiest tailed beast, Chomei." Chomei confirmed to Pierre.

"But how?"

"On the night of your birth, you were planned to be used as a beacon of power for you to be a leader of another village."

"Oh."

"So you were kidnapped, by a pair of shinobi who went by thunder & lightning. "

"Ryu and Mujun?"Replied Pierre.

The beast nodded his head.

"They were trying you use to destroy all villages; by sealing me into you." Chomei said back. Luckily that's not the point, the point is that you need to stop them now on their quest to world wide destruction."

Pierre frowned. "But how am I gonna do that? They have all those powerful scythes coming at me!"

"I have been around since the age of the Sage of the Six Paths. I have had many jinchuuriki; good and bad. I have seen how obstinance and darkness can ruin them. I have learned new things; gained new abilities by studying your kind. I will lend you my power willingly because I have seen the ability for humans to understand our power; yes, I have seen the good. I also see the same good in you. The good; that will lead the shinobi world to a new light." Chomei insisted.

"Ok!" Quickly Pierre's frown turned to a smile of hope, and victory.

Pierre zoomed back to reality. The scythes were still flying at Byakko and Pierre.

Pierre let out a smirk.

*KLANK

The series of scythes that once posed Pierre a threat, were now at Byakko's feet.

Ryu was shocked.

"H-H-How?" Ryu had never seen anyone survive he and Yatagarasu's Kekkei Tota attack.

He glanced up to see what had stopped this so called unstoppable jutsu.

Pierre had covered him and Byakko in a metallic armour; wings sprouting out of his back; blue chakra flames emitting from all over his body and armour. The metallic tailed beast helmet released, revealing his transformed face. His once hazel pupils were now green; his once dark hair was the same colour of his chakra.

"Now youre gonna pay!" The helmet latched back onto his face as he spread his wings to fly.

Quickly, he was flying in front of Yatagarasu, Mujun, and Ryu.

"Time for you guys to be the first to see my new secret jutsu!" He yelled."Tailed Beast Art: Acid Release: Acid Flooding Jutsu!" He released his hands signs, with a pool of acid forming under Yatagarasu. The summoned crow melted into acid, leaving Ryu and Mujun froze in their shock.

'Got em.'

"Tailed Beast Art: Wind Style: Angelic Beast Bomb Tornado!" Pierre shouted.

He swirled the blue energy and the red energy together, mixing it with Chomei's wind style chakra, forming a massive beastly tornado.

"GO!" He shot the tornado at Ryu and Mujun, while the tornade engulfed everything in its path; completely clearing the forest and everything in it.
