35 MASTER LIRIUS: PART I

Day passes and the assassination that has happened has still yet the minds of the villagers. When they found out about it from Gran, they were all shocked and distressed as to who wished for the girl's life. They have already come to a conclusion that the girl is a noble's daughter, but has still no idea which family she is from.

On the day of the assassination, after Athena was sent to the hospital. The villagers went to the forest despite knowing how dangerous it could be. They intended to find the assassin, but found something which brought some shock to them.

They did not inform the girl, It was Arthur who found it and only informed Serfed. Both of them kept it a secret since they feared that it would cause great trouble in the future.

Despite the villagers are aware that their life could be placed in danger because of the girl. They did not waver at all and continued to trust her.

Also, the next day Athena introduces Lirius to the villagers. It shocked everyone at first that the person living in the restricted area was just a young man. He looked as young as Gran and Arthur. During that time, Lirius didn't say much and only stood there like a status as the girl explained everything.

Things ended well, and the girl was soon to move with the young man.

Konav Estate

Athena with the help of Gran and Arthur were busy cleaning the entire estate. It took a while for her to get Serfred's approval for them to live in the estate. The fact the man suspects Lirius to be someone who can't be trusted despite him saving the girl's life a couple of times already. What he worried about was that he is too quiet and suspicious, doing things without any reason. He believed that everyone always has a reason for doing things, yet Lirius has none.

Anyways, the two still do not get along, but at least try their best to act as good friends for the girl's sake.

Lirius never mentioned to anyone who the girl really was seeing most of the villagers has no clue yet. But, he already suspects them knowing about the girl being a noble daughter after the assassination. It astounded him that time when the girl was introducing him because despite what happened, they village seems to see the girl as their saviour. It has been bothering him what the villagers will feel when they find out that the person threatening the girl's life is the Empire itself. Will they continue to stay by her side?

"Athena, didn't I tell you not to move around so much." Serfred took the broom away from her hand and pushed her out of the room. He has been so worried about the girl since Lirius informed him last time that her body is slowly deteriorating.

"But-" Athena twisted her body to face Serfred, but ended up being in front of each other's face instead.

Serfred let go of the girl as he averted his body from her to hide his flustered face. "I'll do the cleaning, you don't need to worry about it. For now, just rest , and get back your energy, since that nerd to me, you're not doing well at all. He mentioned that even your mana is not restored normally."

Athena's face looked depressed. She too has a sense of it, despite how much she wished to deny it.

It's true her mana has not improved at all, nor has she been able to manifest her aura again. It's been a long time, yet, nothing… Despite Lirius been checking on her daily, giving her different potions and elixir, still none of those worked at all. From mana boost, mana restorated, even healing potions which have better quality than hers does not help as well.

Serfred felt guilty of what he said, as he was about to take back his words. The girl has already started walking away.

"Fine, I'll go look for Fuji then." The girl smiled even though deep down she was breaking into pieces knowing her body is not recovering.

Athena went to search for Fuji outside the manor.

Since Fuji was not used to the amount of spirit energy inside the manor, he prefers to stay outside due to the fact there were quite a lot of enchanted artifacts and plants, at the same time, the entire manor was filled with enchantment and last time, Fuji activated one of them which caused Lirius to be furious at the puppy

*Flash back on the day Fuji activated the enchantment.*

Fuji has activated one of the spells by the foyer which almost burnt the entire foyer. Luckily, Arthur has mastered some water elements and was able to stop it on time.

"What have you been teaching that pup? No, don't tell me you treat it as a puppy! That's a freaking Twilight Wolf but could not sense magic at all." Lirius shouted at the girl, furious that the place was almost burnt down into pieces. What was worse, was the fact that if the fire did not stop on time, it would have activated some other enchantment as well.

"I'm sorry, I don't have a clue how to train it. And don't get so mad at me, why did you put so much spell on the house anyways and one of them was to burn down the house. Why would you even put such a spell up?���

Lirius did not argue back about why there was such a spell, for such a topic was not something he could open for now.

"Never mind, I'll help you to train him."

That day, Athena has worked hard to train Fuji. At the same time, it bothers her why talking about the house, lands, and his master bothers Lirius so much. As if there is a big secret...

Anyways, since that day, Fuji has preferred to stay outside. Since, he could avoid Lirius. For, Fuji may be still a puppy, but he can sense magic and the magic he senses from Lirius was something frightening and if he was able to speak he would have told the girl already.
