13 MAGIC ABILITY: PART II

There are different types of magic ability: an Elementalist, a Healer, Mage, Magic Fighter, and lastly an Alchemist.

Elementalist are the rarest magic ability. There aren't a lot of them, since practicing other abilities would cause you the potential to become an Elementalist. Those with such ability has the power to restore inhabited lands, infertile, and dry land. That is the basic ability of an Elementalist. However, those with great skills can help boost a crops' growth and make sure they'll bear great fruits.

In regards to Lady Adolphus, being the most powerful Elementalist. She has the ability not only to restore the land, boost the plants growth and fruits, but also the ability to bring dead crops and trees to life. Her lever of power is so high that she has the ability to heal sick animals as well. Which healers are unable to do.

So at the moment, Athena is surprisingly at a higher level than those who have practiced for years. Seeing she was not only able to restore the lands, but also boost the seedling's growth.

Next we have the Healers. There are two types of healer: Divine Healer and Ordinaire Healer.

Most healers are priests or nuns. You'll hardly see a normal person or noble with the ability. But, some do practice such ability.

Ordinaire Healers are what you call an ordinary healer. They can close up small wounds, heal burns. They can help you feel light when you feel tired or exhausted, making it easy for you to rest well… Unlike, Ordinaire Healer which is an ability anyone can learn as long as they practice it. Divine Healers are those who have taken years of practice and have only focused on healing magic.

Those with such ability are mainly high priests or any high rank church officials. Since, they normally practice healing magic in order to help the people. With such ability, they are not only able to heal all sorts of wounds, but the ability to restore a broken limb.

Which is what Athena is hoping to do now…

Mages, they have the ability to use all sorts of spells. Depending on a mage rank, they can use different types of element as well.

First is Magus, having the ability to use one element as it's core magic. If one is able to produce light, then they can be called a Magus already.

So, for now, Athena is classed as a Magus.

Second, we have Witch or a Magi. They are arcane magic students' meaning they went to school just to practice Magic. They study for years in order to practice their magic until they have great command over it.

Next we have Sorcerers who are born with the talent to use magic. They are natural prodigies when it comes to magic. Unlike Magis, who can only cast one strong spell a day. Sorcerers are able to cast more spells per day without draining their mana.

Last, the most powerful Mage of all are called Arch Mage. They don't really need to be explained since their titles have already given a great deal of how powerful they are.

Being a mage means having great mana control and recovery. Since, one needs to be able to control the amount of mana they use per spell. At the same time, they must recover the lost mana as fast as possible. Since, casting spells drains one's mana like how fast you can drink a glass of water.

Now, we have what Athena's family is greatly known for.

Magic Fighter, depending on what type of fighter you are, you can use magic as well. Meaning, they are like Mages, but they practice their magic more in combat or to improve their skills. They would use their magic either in enhancing their speed in fighting, their strength or sometimes just to help them survive.

You see, Magic Fighter has the ability to somehow learn healing magic as well. They can't be classed as healers at all since their ability to heal isn't that great.

Plus, there are more to them than being a fighter and enchanting themselves. They also have the ability to use elements in fighting by enhancing their weapons.

Lastly, we Alchemist. They have both the ability of a Healer and Mage. But what makes them rare is their ability to craft potions and enhanced items. Of course, Alchemist can't reach the highest rank or a Mage and Healer for they need to balance both abilities which means they won't have time to practice both. The reason why they have a Healer's ability is because an Alchemist needs high mana to make potions and Healer has very high mana capacity.

Diana has realized that Athena's ability does not make sense and decided to keep what she knows for herself.

Athena slowly opened her eyes to check if what she hoped for worked. Since no one made a sound at all, she thought she had failed.

Indeed, what Diana said and what Father Roland hoped for came into reality.

"Ha- it worked," Athena mumbled pleased with the result of what she'd done. She was pale as she was exhausted from doing something out of her league. As she was about to collapse, Serfred caught her in his arms as he wrapped his arms around her.

"My Lady, thank you." He whispered in her ears.

Athena smiled who was still out of breath and replied, "You're welcome."

As she was about to shut her eyes to rest. She suddenly realized something, as she gathered her remaining strength, she pulled herself together and placed both her hands on the man's face, "I might not be able to heal your eyes today."

Serfred chuckled as she patted the girl on the head, "You have done enough, thank you."

The heavens have not forsaken us. A Saintess has been sent to help us.

Of course, Father Roland does not know anything about the girl's identity nor the fact she was indeed declared as a Saintess. He couldn't care less about the girl's identity anymore for what's important was she came to them to help them.
