5 Run.

Sean jumps up from the coach, "what is it?!"

"The uniform!" I run in front of him to show the uniform, "What's the meaning of this!"

Sean sighs, "I don't get what's wrong."

"Skirt! I have to wear a skirt?!?!"

"Please stop yelling." Sean sits back down, "yes, you will have to wear the uniform."

"Uhm, nope."

He sighs again, "you're required to wear the uniform."

I toss the uniform on the coach, and I sit down next to him. "Topic over! So what're you doing," I look at the paper work that's scattered on the coffee table.

"I'm doing some school work."

"Ew."

"You should go sleep, we'll be visiting the mall tomorrow to get you things you need."

"Mall?" I ask in a confusing tone.

"There's a mall near the academy."

"Why tomorrow? Shouldn't we be going to school?"

He looks at me like I just said something stupid, which I did. "Tomorrow is Saturday, and people usually don't have school on weekends?"

"It's Friday?!?!" My eyes grow big from shock.

"Yes, it's Friday, and tomorrow is Saturday."

"Since it's Friday, why are you doing work so late in the night?"

"I'm a staff helper in CA, which means I get double the work normal students get."

"What's a staff helper?"

"A student who helps staff do important things."

"That seems like a lot of work, why'd you become a staff helper?"

"I didn't have a choice." Sean sighs.

"You sigh too much."

He looks at me, "I do?"

"Yup." I imitate his sigh, making me giggle.

"So why'd you choose to come to CA?" Sean starts writing something on a piece of paper.

"I wanted to see what type of school CA was. I was actually pretty confident that I wouldn't be accepted in."

"Clearly."

I gasp, "what do you mean by that?!?!"

He grins, "oh nothing."

"Heyyyy! Tellll meeeeee!"

"Nope." He zips his mouth shut and throws the key away.

I, once again, gasp. "Rude!" I playfully slap his shoulder.

"Ouch! That hurt!" He starts rubbing his shoulder, and fake cries.

We both start laughing. "What about you? Why'd you come to CA?" I ask him.

"I would likely get accepted in my dream university if I went to a top educating school."

"Wow. You already know what you want in the future."

"You don't?"

Now it's my turn to sigh. "I don't know if I'll make it, I didn't even know I was gonna make it this far." I smile.

"Excuse me?" He asks in a confuse tone.

"Oops. I was talking to myself." I forcefully giggle, "I'm too dumb to think of what I want in the future."

"Well you should start thinking of your future."

"Eh. I'm only a sophomore, so I'll be okay."

"For now. Can you pass that paper in front of you?" I hand him the paper, he gently takes it, "thanks."

"No probs." I smile.

"Not trying to be nosy, but is your mom really a slut and your dad a drug addict?"

I give him a big smile, "yup!"

He stares at me for a second before doing his work again, "you don't have to act unbothered by it."

I stare at him, "what?"

He looks back at me, making us have eye contact. "Acting happy doesn't make you happy."

[Run.]

"I am happy?"

"Was that a fact or a question?"

[Run!]

"I'm really happy!"

"Acting like you're okay doesn't make your pain go away."

[RUN!]

I get up, "I should go to sleep." Before I could walk away, he grabs my wrist.

[DON'T LET HIM SEE!]

I look at his hand that holds my wrist, "please let go."

He let go of my wrist, "shit, sorry."

I try walking away, but I couldn't. It was like my legs were frozen.

"It's not a bad thing to let out the pain." Sean says while he continues working.

I realized my legs weren't gonna move, so I sit back down on the coach. "Why'd you grab my wrist?"

Without looking up from his work, he says, "I didn't want you to leave."

I stare blankly at the coffee table, "why."

"If I tell you why, will you tell me about you?"

I think about the offer for a minute.

"deal."
