I Have a Good Father

Yuan Yuan rubbed at his eyes and looked as though he was sobbing.

He Xiyan froze and she suddenly felt her heart clench painfully. She hurriedly crouched down and patted his shoulder.

"Yuan Yuan, don't cry. I have some matters to attend to this evening so I can't go with you to the movies. Shall I bring you and your sister to the zoo in a few days' time?" she suggested.

She wasn't busy but she couldn't come up with a suitable excuse. Nonetheless, she didn't want to head to the movies with Yuan Yuan and Mo Yixuan. This wouldn't reflect well on her and she would also have to spend time with her daughter at home. 

Yuan Yuan sniffled when he heard that his mother was still reluctant to head to movies and more tears streamed down his cheeks. 

"Sob… mom, you're lying. I know that you aren't willing to go. I won't go if you're not going," he said.
