Envy

Two beautiful and charming princesses born in the Kingdom of Fuchsia, Agatha and Sienna. They had a personal servant who was very loyal to the two princesses, but one of the servants betrayed Princess Agatha because she didn't like Princess Agatha whose beauty exceeds any girl in the kingdom.

And also because she liked Princess Agatha's lover, a handsome young painter who was famous throughout the country. Felipe loved Agatha very much but they couldn't get married because of their different social status.

Zara, the princess's personal maid was very close to Agatha. She knew all the secrets of Princess Agatha including the hidden places in the palace.

They always played to these places and hide there. After they grew up, Princess Agatha sometimes still came to the old building behind the palace garden to relieve her sadness.

One sunny day Princess Agatha and her maid asked her father's permission to take a walk into the city.

"Father, this morning I want to take a walk to town with Zara. May I go?" asked Princess Agatha hopefully.

"My Daughter, why did you go to town?" King Edmund frowned.

"I want to buy something there, Father," replied Agatha with a smile.

"Hmm... fine, but you have to be careful there. It's best if you disguise yourself as commoners so no one will know your true identity." King Edmund gave advice to his daughter and Zara.

"Okay Dad, Zara and I will go undercover as per Dad's suggestion." The smile on Princess Rebecca's face grew wider as her wish was fulfilled.

"Remember you have to take care of yourself, Agatha. One more thing have you and Zara said goodbye to your mother?"

"Not yet, Father."

"Goodbye to your mother first before leaving for the city later," replied King Edmund.

"Okay, Dad." Princess Agatha nodded her head.

"Zara, please take care of my daughter. I really trust you," said King Edmund to Zara who had been standing frozen beside her master.

"Very well, Your Majesty," said Agathe politely, looking down not daring to look at King Edmund.

"Then we say goodbye, Father."

"Yes, my dear daughter."

After saying goodbye to her father, Princess Agatha took Zara to her room to get ready. They were delighted to be allowed to go to the city by the king.

Princess Agatha immediately changed her very beautiful dress with a simple dress, then wore a veil to cover her head and part of her face, while Zara wore the typical clothes of the people of Fuchsia.

The clothes they got when Queen Diane was shopping in the city with two servants and some bodyguards. Actually Princess Agatha that morning was going to meet someone in town, someone who really admired the princess's beauty.

Princess Agatha is indeed very beautiful even more than Queen Diane's beauty. Long blonde hair, sharp nose, bright green eyes like gemstones and thin red lips that made every young man in Fuchsia Country fall in love with the princess.

Filipe is no exception, the famous painter in the city of Devereaux who greatly admires Agatha's beauty. Zara knows that the princess is going to meet the young man there.

Jealousy rose again in Zara's heart who could never have a handsome lover like Filipe, does she have to be a servant at Fuchsia Palace forever? If only he could replace Agatha's position in the palace or at least be able to seize the person Agatha loves, surely Zara would not be trapped in that place.

Last night while Princess Agatha was sleeping, Princess Sienna, who harbored envy in her heart for Princess Agatha, secretly met Zara in a dark and quiet palace hall. He gave a small clear glass bottle containing poison to the waiter and then told him to put the poison in the drink as well as the food served to his brother.

After changing clothes, Zara chatted for a while with Princess Agatha in Putri's room.

"Princess, you must want to see Mr. Filipe, don't you?" investigate Zara.

"That's right Zara, I will meet her while buying some paintings at Filipe's shop," replied Princess Agatha.

"Okay, if that's the case. I'm happy to accompany Putri to meet Princess's lover." Zara smiles wryly.

"Thank you, Zara. You are my very good and loyal servant," said Putri.

Zara responded to Princess Agatha's compliment with a nod, she said to herself. 'Today your life will end, Princess. I will take your place as Felipe's lover and Princess Sienna will be the most beautiful princess in the land.'

Actually, Agatha had other intentions that morning. He didn't just want to buy a painting. He intended to accept Filipe's proposal and marry secretly in the painter's house in the village.

Since Filipe was only a painter it was impossible for Agatha to introduce him to King Edmund and Queen Diane.

Not long after they left the room and stepped into the palace courtyard which was very beautiful and majestic. In the main courtyard of the palace, the carriage belonging to the Fuchsia Kingdom was ready to take Agatha and Zara to the bustling and crowded city.

Diane and Sienna looked at each of them from a distance, Diane hoped that this time Agatha wouldn't go overboard. Actually he knows Agatha's relationship with Filipe, the traitor Zara who tells all Agatha's secrets to Sienna.

Sienna also has a desire to usurp Agatha's position as the favorite Princess of King Edmund and Queen Diana, for that she conspires with Zara and the master poison maker in the land of Fuchsia.
