Chapter 3 City of The Stars

The portal had thrown me out "oww!" I had hit my head on the wall Catherine was out cold on the floor and Mal just came out unharmed "I knew she couldn't take it" Mal prodded Catherine's face, she woke up "What are you doing!" she pushed Mal away from her face and sat up against the wall "where are we Mal" I looked around the room it seemed to be an office of some kind before Mal could speak the door was kicked open "WHO THE HELL-" it was a middle aged woman wear a maids uniform "oh its you two! What are you doing in here?" I looked over to the wall where the portal was and it wasn't there " miscalculation with the portal should of been in my room" the maid smiled and nodded

"alright get out of here before your father find out" We left the room and a great hall stretched out to the left and right of us "this way" Mal said he walked to the left I felt familiar with the halls but not entirely, maids greeted us as we passed so did what seemed to be guards as well soon Mal stopped beside a door and opened it. We entered the room it was a large bedroom with 2 large beds on the left and right walls of the room "this is our room" Mal said. The room had a balcony,private hot spring and a loft with an extra bed "this room is massive!" Catherine climbed up to the loft "that's your bed Catherine" Mal sat on what I assumed was his bed "this room is amazing! The bed is so comfy!" Catherine shouted from up in the loft. The door opened and a tall man in a black cloak walked in "Yuna, its good to see you again" his voice was quite deep

"hello father" I said looking up at him, his expression remained blank "I heard you have brought someone with you, is that correct?" I nodded and Catherine came down from the loft "uh, hello sir!" she said Father just looked down at her "who are you?" he said

"I-I'm Catherine sir" she was scared of him "you, child address me by King Cinder" Catherine nodded and father left the room.

Catherine breathed a sigh of relief when father left "he is scary!" She said Mal stood up and came over "get used to it, hey I'm gonna get some food you guys wanna come?" I shook my head

"I'm good" Catherine went with Mal and I was alone in the room. I went on the balcony a beautiful garden stretched out before me "wow I don't remember this" I thought then, I heard the door open I looked behind me a shot girl was there she was floating and were pure white clothes with an emblem on the sleeves "Yuna!" she drifted over to me and gave me a tight hug "you've been gone for 2 weeks where were you?" I wasn't sure who this girl was I had not remembered her yet "who were you again I haven't gotten all my memories back yet" she laughed slightly "you're not serious right? Its me Titus" I then realised that this was a boy "oh Titus... I remember your name but that's it"

"oh that's right! you won't regain all your memories until at least a day or two after the spell" he smiled and looked at the sun "its noon? I've got to go but it was nice seeing you again!" he waved and left the room

A day had passed and I had still not completely regained my memories the castle was really nice and the city we were in was called 'Stars' the capital of our country but I still couldn't remember the name. We were going into the town today "hey Mal," Mal looked over to me "what do you want?"

"oh just, did want to do something other than look around the town because you can if you want"

" nah, I'll stay with you and Catherine, other wise I'll be bored" I opened the door Mal stepped out and I came with him.

The city was very large and hard to navigate but Mal knew his way around I could remember some of the streets as well "this way!" Mal yelled at Catherine she was looking at some assorted treats "I can take as long as I want!" she yelled back. She picked a few things and we continued through the city. I heard someone call my name and a man around my height walked up to me "who are you?" I asked he just smiled

"you remember me don't you? or has it been that long?" he cupped my cheek and pulled his hand away from my face "please leave me alone" he kept on smiling and staring into my eyes. I turned around to go back to Mal and Catherine they where bit a head of me then man put his hand over my mouth and whispered "you're coming with me" he dragged me away from the quite street an into a dark alleyway.
