1 The mysterious visitors from Song Dynasty.

Princess Xiao Ai is sitting on the mini chair that is resting on the floor of her room.She stares at the table in front of her and then suddenly in a rapid movement rested her left elbow on the table while resting her head on her left hand.

She uses the tips of her right hand to make a beating sound on the table.

Her close servants Bai Xi and A'fan are standing behind her.Slightly bending their backs.

"Ugh!"

"I am so bored in here".She stands up in frustration and is about to head out when the wooden door of her room slides open.

"Mo-?" Princess Xiao Ai raises her eyebrows and her mouth in shock.She immediately kneeled on one knee and bows to her mother.

"You may stand up," Empress Li said in a stern voice and shot Princess Xiao Ai a cold gaze.

" Do you think you are the only one who is smart and everyone else is foolish?".

Immediately Empress Li said that princess Xiao Ai knew she had been caught in her own game.

"Your father is having visitors from another dynasty today.You are not allowed to come out of your room till night time".

" But…."

" Do you think I am here to argue with you?" Princess Xiao Ai had a pale face and looked down at her toes as her mother said this.

" Anyone out there!"

Two guards entered the room and bowed to Empress Li.

"Yes,your royal majesty!"

"Keep an eye on princess Xiao Ai.She is not allowed to leave her room till night time and if she does, consider yourselves dead". Empress Li said with her stern look fixed on princess Xiao Ai.

"Yes,your royal majesty." The guards chorused.

Empress Li snorted as she flips her dress, putting her hands behind her and leaves.

The guards bow to princess Xiao Ai and stand outside her room.The maids close the door.

Princess Xiao Ai gives a deep sigh.She raises her head at the ceiling of her room and paces back and forth.

"Your highness, I think you should listen to Her Royal Majesty and rest in your room.Please obey Her Royal Majesty and don't think of leaving this….."

" Shut up!"

" I told you I am bored here and you are telling me to rest.Do I look sick to you? Princess Xiao Ai angrily said.

"Your Highness,if the Empress told you not to come out of your room,I am sure she has a good reason behind it" A'fen said.

Princess Xiao Ai slowly and carefully sits down on the floor.

" Hmmmmmm….Why didn't I think of this before? Princess Xiao Ai muttered to herself while staring into space.

"What?"

Bai Xi and A'fen frowned and looked at each other then fixed their curious eyes on princess Xiao Ai.

"Father had many important visitors in the past but mother never told me to stay in my room.Even when the envoy from Jim dynasty came to wage war on us,my movement was not restricted."

" Who on earth could these visitors be?Do you think they are afraid of me? Princess Xiao Ai asked in a low tone.

Bai Xi laughed dryly.

"Would they even be here if they were afraid of you? Bai Xi said in a mild tone.Not wanting to upset princess Xiao Ai.

"Looks like our visitors this time are a set of mysterious human beings.I think I should know more about them." Princess Xiao Ai said and grinned at her two helpless looking maids.

"Greetings to Your Royal Majesty " The man bowed and cupped his hands to greet the Emperor of Western Xia.

"Your Royal Majesty,The Falcon is here from the Song dynasty to negotiate about the impending war".Prime minister Zhang bowed and said to the Emperor.

The Emperor stared at the man in front of him for a while.He can't just bring himself to trust this man.Although he looked like an official from Song dynasty,there was something suspicious about him.

"Okay,I will take a look at the imperial edict you've given me and give you my reply later".The Emperor said, staring at The Falcon.

The Falcons gave Prime minister Zhang a stern look.

"Your Royal Majesty,This is such a golden opportunity to make sure that the people of Western Xia are safe.Please stamp the imperial edict" Prime minister Zhang said in a bid to convince the Emperor.

" Please stamp the imperial edict Your Majesty" Military Commander Han,Privy Minister,Minister for public affairs and Minister Huang chorused,bowed and kneeled to the Emperor.

"Why do I feel like I am being threatened here?" The Emperor said while staring at The Falcon.They glared at each other as though they were on the battlefield ready to kill one another.

"Your Royal Highness,If the Emperor finds out that you are not here,we are all going to be dead." Bai Xi cried out.

" Please don't go out," A'fen said.

" Shhh! The guards outside will hear you" Princess Xiao Ai said.

Bai Xi and A'fen hurriedly stood in front of the door and kneeled before Princess Xiao Ai.

"You can't go anywhere, Your Royal Highness.We won't let you go.What if Empress Li sees you?Why do you love getting into trouble? Bai Xi said
