13 The Falcon Faction

"I was suspicious before,but now I am certain.Marshal Feng is the one who sent those assassins to us.He just came to check if I was the one his assassins ambushed tonight." The second prince said and smiled.

"But I do not understand why he is spying on you and what he is using the flying shadow assassins for. " Huan asked curiously.

"He is not the one." The second prince replied.

"Although Marshal Feng controls part of the imperial army, he still doesn't have that much power to control the flying shadow assassins. But he has the authority to give them orders.

"Your Royal Highness mean to say…. Marshal Feng is not the owner of the flying shadow assassins but he gives them orders." Huan asked.

"Yes.There is someone else at the top and he is using the assassins for something big." The second prince replied.

"I will take my leave now.You should rest." Huan said and leaves.

"Young mistress,I came to check on you because I saw that the candle in your room is still lit.Do you need anything?" Zhan asked and sat in front of Princess Xiao Ai.

"No,no thank you very much.I am fine.I was just thinking about some things." Princess Xiao Ai replied.

"Zhan!"

"Yes,young mistress." Zhan answered with a curious face.

"From now on,things may get messy and dangerous.But I want you to promise me you won't say a thing to father or mother.Can you do that?" Princess Xiao Ai asked.

"Young mistress,I do not know who you really are or where you come from but I promise to always stay by your side and not inform Lord and Madam Jiang about your activities." Zhan replied.

"Thank you so much" Princess Xiao Ai said and held Zhan by her hand and smiled.

"Please forgive me Falcon,I was not able to know the accomplice of that man." Marshal Feng kneeled and pleaded in front of a man wearing a black robe.Only his eyes can be seen.

There are other men sited in the spacious room.Four men sat on the left side and four men sat on the right side.They were all wearing a black robe as well and only their eyes can be seen.Marshal Feng is also wearing the same.

"Do you know what kind of mistake you have made?" The Falcon Shouted at Marshal Feng in a deep voice and three an ink slab on Marshal Feng's forehead,making him bleed profusely.

"If the secrets of our faction is exposed,just get ready to die." The Falcon said in anger and left the room.

The right men that we're sitted quickly stood up and bowed to The Falcon.Then they left.

The second prince could not sleep in his room.He sit up and lit the candle on his table.He recalled the image of Princess Xiao Ai when she was fighting with the assassins.

"I must find this young man and make him my master." The second prince muttered and went back to sleep.
