12 Heaven Sent

"I am here now! Bring out my man!" The second prince shouted in a thick voice as he arrived at the bamboo forest with Huan.

The bamboo forest was silent and isolated.There is a small hill separating the bamboo forest and the Bianjing market square so the people are not able to see or know what is happening in the bamboo forest clearly.

"Don't you dare to come out after calling us here?" Huan shouted, inspecting the environment.

The second prince's eyes widened as he heard the sound of a sword coming out of its case.

"Huan!" The second prince quickly drags Huan away from where he is standing,saving him from a sneak attack.

Suddenly,a group of assassins in black flew to the scene.They were also covering their noses.

They are six in number.They drew out their swords and swiftly attacked the second prince and Huan.

"Zhan,put the Jades and the paper lanterns in the carriage." Princess Xiao Ai ordered and paid the seller.

"Yes,young mistress." Zhan replied and started putting the items in the carriage.

Princess Xiao Ai was about to leave when she heard faint sounds of metals.

"Zhan,Did you hear that?" Princess Xiao Ai asked, paying more attention to the sounds.

"No, young mistress.Is there a problem?" Zhan replied.

"Zhan! where is the nearest clothing store?" 

"It is right there." Zhan said, pointing to the fourth shop,giving Princess Xiao Ai a weird look.

Princess Xiao Ai hurriedly took Zhan with her to the clothing store and purchased a male's robe.

"Young mistress,what do you need a male's robe for?" Zhan asked curiously.

"Don't ask any questions for now and just do as I say." Princess Xiao Ai said and changed into the robe.She gave Zhan her females clothes to hold.

"Wait here for me.I will be back." Princess Xiao Ai said and hurriedly went to the prop store to buy a fake moustache and hair bond.

She went to a corner to fix the fake moustache on her face and then used the hair bond to tie her hair in a ponytail.

"Young master, I think we will die here.What should we do? We have been fighting with them for a while now…. but instead of them getting tired,they are getting stronger." Huan said to the second prince, panting hard.

"They are the flying shadow assassins.The most skilled assassins in Bianjing.The person using them must be of high influence." The second prince replied.

The assassins surrounded the second prince and Huan and were about to attack them when Princess Xiao Ai flew on an assassin's head and snipped his head with her legs.She took his sword on the floor.

Princess Xiao Ai uses her flying skill to escape the attack of the assassins and uses her sword to pierce the heart of another assassin when she flies back to the ground.

Huan and the second prince are left stunned and speechless by Princess Xiao Ai's fighting skills.

Another assassin comes behind Princess Xiao Ai to stab her but she tilts her head to the side in order to dodge the attack and then uses her flying skill to fly and swiftly lands on the tip of the assassin's sword with one leg and immediately uses her other leg to hit the assassin's head.

The second Prince's eye widened in shock.Seeing how skilled Princess Xiao Ai is,the assassins retreated and fled.

Before Huan and the second prince could thank Princess Xiao Ai,she flew away.

"He left before I could thank him." The second prince said, still looking at the direction from which princess Xiao Ai left.

"How can anyone defeat the flying shadow assassins so easily?" Huan asked.Still in shock and dis-belief.

"He is definitely not a simple person to have been able to defeat the flying shadow assassins.I have to thank him and make him teach me." The second prince said and smiled.

"How will you find him? We don't even know his name or where he comes from." Huan asked.

"I won't rest until I have found him." The second prince replied in a more determined tone.

"We have to return to the palace quickly." Huan said and they both left.

"Young mistress,what happened to you?" Zhan inquired as she saw blood stains on Princess Xiao Ai's white robe.

"I am okay.I went to save two young men that we're about to be assassinated." Princess Xiao Ai said and took off the male robe and  the moustache she was wearing.Then she changed into her female hanfu.

"Secretly wash this white robe when we get home.When it is dry,keep it along with the fake moustache.I will need it in the future." Princess Xiao Ai said.

"Okay young mistress." Zhan replied and they both went back home.

"What happened?" Marshal Feng asked, seeing his spy panting hard.

"Master,we did ambush that man but before we could check if he was the second prince or not,a strange young man dressed in a white robe fame to help him.The young man was extremely skilled and even managed to kill two of our men.Please forgive me master.I deserve to die." The spy reported and bowed.

"That is not good.Let us quickly check if the second prince is still in his room first." Marshal Feng said and hurriedly stood up from his seat.

"Your Royal Highness,we are here for investigation." Marshal Feng announced,standing in front of the second Prince's room.

"Master, I think he is the one we ambushed." Marshal Feng's spy whispered into his ear after waiting outside the door for a while but received no response.

"Your Royal Highness,I will be coming inside now." Marshal Feng opened the door and was shocked to see the second prince playing with the third prince.

"Marshal Feng,please do not tell mother that we are playing so late at night.She will punish us." The second prince said and continued playing.

Marshal Feng stared at his spy in anger as though he would behead him on the spot.

"Marshal Feng,how may I help you?" Huan entered the room and mockingly asked.

"Sorry for the disturbance Your Royal Highness." Marshal Feng said and bowed.He angrily left while his spy followed.

The second prince and Huan looked at each other and smiled.

"Bingwen, let's continue playing tomorrow." The second prince said and sat down.

"Okay brother." The third prince replied and left.Huan closes the door and sits in front of the second prince.
