17 An Accidental kiss

"What? Master? Who is your master? Do I even know you?" Princess Xiao Ai inquired.

"I…...I was the one you saved from those assassins at…...at the bamboo forest.You saved my friend and I from being killed." The Second Prince explained happily. Catching his breath in between his words.

Princess Xiao Ai was silent for a while and recalled the bamboo forest incident.

"Yes, I indeed saved you but why should I take you as my disciple? Quickly get lost! I do not want to have any disciple."Princess said.

"Master.Please reconsider your decision." The Second Prince shouted, holding onto Princess Xiao Ai's leg.

"You…..What do you think you are doing? People are watching!" Princess Xiao Ai said, struggling to release her leg from The Second Prince's grip.

"Please take my friend as your disciple!" Huan shouted and held Princess Xiao Ai's second leg.

"You two! Are you two crazy? What are you doing? Let me go!" Princess Xiao Ai angrily said.

"Please reconsider your decision." The Second Prince and Huan chorused, still clinging to Princess Xiao Ai's legs.

"Alright, alright.I will take you as my disciple." Princess Xiao Ai helplessly said and heaved a deep sigh.

"Really?" The Second Prince asked in surprise.

"Why?Should I take back my word?" Princess Xiao Ai replied.

"No no.Thank you master!" The Second Prince shouted and was about to hug Princess Xiao Ai but she swiftly moved to the side,making the Second Prince fall on the floor.

Princess Xiao Ai looks at the Second Prince who is lying on the floor and smirks.

"Take my hand." Princess Xiao Ai extends her hand to help the Second Prince up.

"Thank you master." The Second Prince said and gave her his hand.

Princess Xiao Ai is about to drag the Second Prince up but she trips on her robe and falls on the Second Prince, accidentally kissing him.

Huan and Zhan are mouth gaped while the people passing by stared in shock and disgust.

"A man and man are kissing each other now?They do not have any shame at all." A woman said.

"You are right. I wonder what their parents are teaching them." A man replied.

Princess Xiao Ai froze on the spot and stared at The Second Prince in shock for a minute.She and the Second Prince immediately stood up afterwards.

"You…...you shouldn't  hug your master.You should bow to your master." Princess Xiao Ai quickly said to clear the tense atmosphere.

"Yes…...yes master." The Second Prince replied and quickly bowed.

" It... it wasn't intentional. I stepped on my robe and tripped.It was a mistake." Princess Xiao Ai said and frantically looked around.

"Yes! You are  right master.It was a mistake." The Second Prince replied.

"The flying lanterns in the sky are beautiful." Princess Xiao Ai said and smiled.

"Yes, master." The Second Prince replied.

"Young mistress,your cheeks are red." Zhan whispered to Princess Xiao Ai and smiled.

 Princess Xiao Ai looked at Zhan in surprise and touched her cheek.

"Oh no, what is going on with me?" Princess Xiao Ai thought to herself.

"I should get going now.It is already late." Princess Xiao Ai said.

"Alright master but how do I see you again? And what is your name?" The Second Prince asked.

"Well…. We can meet at the market square or at this place.My name is.... Um…...Qi Lang." Princess Xiao Ai said and hurriedly left with Zhan.

"Yes master Qi Lang!" The Second Prince shouted and laughed.

"This is the best night ever.Thank you for bringing me here Huan." The Second Prince said and hugged Huan before they both returned to the palace.

"Go and inform The Second Prince that I would like to celebrate lantern festival with him." The First Prince said to his maid while sitting in the garden.

"Yes,First Prince." The maid replied and bowed.She went to The Second Prince's pavilion and after a while,she returned.

"Your Royal Highness,The Second Prince is not in his pavilion." The maid informed .

"What? Are you really sure of what you are saying?" The First Prince asked in surprise.

"Yes,Your Royal Highness.I also checked Princess MingXia's pavilion but he wasn't there." The maid replied.

"Okay." The First Prince muttered looking worried.

"Where could the First Prince go this late at night?" He thought to himself.

"Brother! The Second Prince shouted as he approached the First Prince.

"And where did you go this late at night?" The First Prince questioned.

"I.... I was with Bingwen." The Second Prince said and laughed.

" Are you sure you were with the Third Prince?" The First Prince asked, narrowing his eyes and staring at The Second Prince with doubt.

"Of Course I was with him.Where could I possibly go this late at night."

"Alright.Go to sleep now you must be tired.I wanted to celebrate the lantern festival with you but there is no need now.You should go and rest now." The First Prince muttered.

"Okay brother. Goodnight." The Second Prince shouted and ran to his pavilion with Huan.
