The Garden Fairy

By the age of five, Princess Aviva was known throughout the kingdoms as one of the most beautiful girls. They called her the Garden Fairy. Her long dark chocolate curls flowed past her butt as her ember eyes gleamed from the sun's kiss. She could always be found in the royal gardens with her loyal servant Robert. Due to her poor health, she was rather thin with poor muscle tone. When she was not in the garden she was in the bed. She drank mostly broth for her diet was rather small. Princess Aviva enjoyed reading in the garden or taking care of the plants. Sometimes she would wear fairy wings that her mother gave her.

" Robert", called Aviva as she pranced around among the flowers. " yes Princess?" Robert said coming to her with a stuffed bunny rabbit. " What is my mother doing?" She asked as she watched her mother review each envelope. " She is reading marriage proposals. " Princess Aviva looked confused. " a marriage proposal is where a guy requests that he wants to marry a girl," he said. "eww a boy wants to marry a girl...", the princess shuddered. Robert laughed. "well you are far still too young to marry. But a lot of those proposals are for you." Princess Aviva looked at Robert perplexed. "me?!" Robert nodded. "Why I don't want to be married. I want to live with mommy and daddy forever." Robert chuckled again. "it is okay if you don't want to get married. The queen has no intention of marrying you off until your 50," Robert laughed. Princess Aviva smiled. " What about Princess Catherine?" Robert was about to explain but was cut off. " What about me missy? I will be getting married soon and I'm excited," Princess Catherine said as her aqua eyes bore into her baby sister's eyes like a hawk. Her Honey brown curls were rather short due to combat practice but she was rather tall for a 12-year-old. Even though she was the crown princess and heir she did not like the fact that her little sister was prettier. She was a little jealous that some of the suitors that originally wanted her hand in marriage switched to her sisters. But as her lowly servant had said their mother had zero intentions of marrying off her sister. This made her a bit happy. If she was not married that meant she had zero chance at taking the throne.
