Chapter 15 - I Could Explain It

Outside of the classroom, there was a man standing firmly while holding his phone. He looked at the stock of some companies while his other hand inside his pocket. Some of the girls watched him afar, they were amazed that this school has a handsome boy like him. While some others tried to talk to him, but failed.

He coldly ignored all the girls that tried to talk to him and automatically, the flies just went away immediately.

"Haha... I told you not to sleep, Julia. Now, good luck with your new homework!"

The laughter that heard from outside of the class. It was the most beautiful laughter he heard. He looked at the origin of the laughter and saw the beautiful girl he missed. He knew it. That girl was definitely not a human, she must be an angel.

He quickens his pace and stopped in front of Elena. "Hey, ready for lunch?"

The sudden manly voice shocked her up. She took a step back and saw a handsome man that she was always dreaming of. "He-Hey." Suddenly, she lost her voice. She coughed once and continued, "You're here."

Looking at the nervous little rabbit in front of him, his mouth curved up, forming a crescent moon. Without her knowing, he swore to do anything to make her fall for him.

This small interaction between them attracted many onlookers. They looked at this sight unbelievably. Davian Helsinki picked up Elena? What was their relationship?

This news flew at a high speed into Iris's ear. "What do you mean? Lunch together?!" Iris smacked her desk and threw Freya an angry glare.

"Yes, I'm sure of it!"

"Let's go to the canteen. I don't believe that Dave himself pick her up to asked her lunch together!"

As soon as Iris and her lackeys arrived, they saw Dave and Elena were having lunch together. They seem to enjoy their time together. This made Iris tightened her hands until her nails pierced through her skin. She gritted her teeth and she faked her smile, slowly closing her gap to their table.

"Hey, there! Looks like you guys having some fun."

Without waiting for their reply, Iris sat beside Dave and gave him a sweet smile.

Unlike Iris's expressions, Elena's expression suddenly turned sour after she remembered her last conversation with Iris, while Dave glared at Iris. Just for today, he hoped that he can have lunch together with Elena peacefully and romantically, but he couldn't.

Looking at the annoyed expression Dave gave to Iris, Elena was sure that what she said was just bluffing around. "Dave, can you introduce me to her? I saw you guys having fun together." Iris then circled her wrist to Dave's arm.

This action obviously made Elena feel jealous, but unfortunately, Dave did not disappoint her. Dave released Iris's hands immediately then looked at Elena worriedly. He was afraid that Elena would misunderstand.

"What are you doing?" Dave coldly asked Iris and moved his seat beside Elena.

Iris gave him a shocked look. He was her fiance, so what did this mean?

"Dave, are you sick? Don't you remember that I am your fiancee?"

Dave looked incredulous at what Iris was saying. She immediately turned to Elena and said, "It isn't what you think it is. So, brush away anything that you are thinking now. I could explain it."

"Dave! I'm talking to you!"

"Iris, we are not related in any other things besides our family has a business contract together. So, this action of yours is childish and not funny at all. I hope you can refrain from doing anything like this if you still love your family."

"You guys go talk first. I'll excuse myself." Elena felt tired all of a sudden. She felt relieved that Dave didn't belong to anybody and wanted to freshen up. But, Dave couldn't know what Elena's think. He assumed that he f*cked up. He wanted Elena to be with him, but he failed.

Before Dave could react to it, Elena already went ahead herself. This made Dave's heart uneasy and directed that feeling to the girl in front of him. "What the heck are you doing? Look at what you've done! If Elena feels slightly disturbed by your words, you can say goodbye to your daily life!"

Iris didn't want to back down. She grabbed Dave's arm and said, "Dave, are you crazy? Do you think you know all about her? Didn't you hear about the rumors around her? She is not a good girl!"

Dave threw away her grip and replied, "Who are you, then? I didn't know you well since we only met when we were six. Don't try to intervene between me and Elena or I won't even spare you."

Dave threatened her well enough until Iris's body trembled. He was a genius and when there were companies in the city still operating, it didn't mean Dave couldn't destroy it.

He could destroy it easily like crushing charcoal. They would immediately become dust and gone. He just found it exhausting and he also had no reason to do that.

Iris knew it well about Dave. She always heard her parents told her about how amazing Dave was. When he was your friend, he protected you well. But, when you turned into foe, he made sure that no one could escape from his grasp.

After leaving the canteen, Dave went around inside and outside the school building, but he couldn't find Elena until the bell rang.

Whether he wanted it or not, he could only go back to the class. School ended without he realizes and he still couldn't find Elena. When he came to her classroom, she was already gone. He sighed and decided to find her again tomorrow.

"Yo, I think there is someone who had been abandoned here." Jayden mocked Dave when he saw his friend's face gloomy. It was a funny sight though. Jayden enjoyed it so much.

It was such a rare sight that the almighty Davian Helsinki could be weakened by an ill called heartbroken.

The mock he gets from Jayden made his gloomy mood to be gloomier. "Your whole ancestors were heartbroken!"

"Eh? That's weird. I thought only our family know that my ancestors were heartbroken before. How do you know about that?"

Dave: "..."
