100 Breakfast with the Queen- III

As she took another step back and said that, I glanced at the window wondering what was there that could show me a new reality of life. Her eyes had grown cold at the sight of whatever it was and it scared me. 

It was the prince standing near bushes of beautifully grown roses in the garden but it was who stood next to him who took my breath away. 

"S-she. . ." I gulped as I stuttered at the sight. I didn't dare look at it once more to make sure that whatever I was saying was the truth. "Is she? She is. . ." 

"Pregnant with the babe of the man that you had to marry?" The queen spoke up from the spot behind me. "Yes child, she is." She confirmed.
