19 Requirement

When Ivy finally found the two people she had been desperately seeking, chatting, or more precisely quarrelling, on an abandoned but historically rich terrace, she immediately felt a huge sense of beneficent relief.

- Come on, Beijie, let's get closer quickly. They are still intact and whole, but you never know. Between men, and especially these two, any explosion can happen.

With a smile on her face, ready to thank Zion for his dignified behavior and incredible control, Ivy quickly became disillusioned when she noticed the sorry state of her hero. All the clothes, obviously expensive and in the doctor's discrete taste, as she liked them, were torn on all sides and stained with blood that seemed to come from several wounds, which meant that his body must have several small cuts. And when she got even closer to get a better look, she noticed that the damaged clothes were also wet.

So they remembered earlier the short but very heavy rain that Beigie had absolutely refused to endure.

When the rain had fallen, it was so sudden that in order to escape it, the creature from Paroxa stopped so suddenly that it sent its passenger crashing straight to the ground. When she could finally stand up after the shock, she looked at Beigie with anger and incomprehension.

- Let's see my boy, what were you thinking?

And when the beast gestured eloquently that it was the rain she feared, Ivy became even angrier.

- But, honey, it's just rain. It may be magic, but it's just rain.

And to prove her point, she reached out to the veils of water that fell violently from the suddenly darkened sky, and gracefully extended her hand to touch it. The beast let out a horrible scream that made Ivy jump and stumble precisely towards the place from which the beast wanted to protect her. Then he rushed feverishly towards her and held her by a piece of his blue suit, before pulling her roughly away from the rain.

Then, when they were far enough away from the water, the creature pointed to a spot touched by the bewitched water. And when Ivy turned to see what her friend wanted her to see so badly, she screamed in horror and understood.

Unfortunately, two unlucky creatures were caught in the magical rain. For they were both lying on the fortunately deserted road, their bodies horribly decomposed.

- But no one can possess such magic.... It should simply be forbidden for anyone.

It was only a rhetorical remark, since they both knew who had caused that deadly spell.

And when she later saw how badly her writer was hurt precisely because of this magic she so abhorred, she discovered the reason for its creation as well as a kind of hatred buried inside her.

Ivy clenched her fists tightly, feeling a rage boil up inside her that she had never felt before, and it completely overwhelmed her.

- Beigie, run fast!

Which the latter did immediately without even hesitating for a second, the anger of her foreign friend surprising and worrying her a lot.

- Zion!

This one surprised, turned around and saw the young girl, riding the beast of Paroxa, which he had saved with her, and rushed towards him, enveloped of an aura of terrible rage.

- What are you doing here, stranger?

Landing on the terrace and descending quickly from the back of her faithful companion, she ran to stand upright in front of the mythical beast.

- I came to prevent you from hurting the doctor Kreiz, as I promised.

With these words said, she then turned to the other person and smiled shyly.

- Hello, doctor, it's an honor to meet you.

- You too, young lady. Or rather my little brother's best friend.

- Ah, he told you about me, what wonderful news !

- It is also wonderful for me to know that you came to my rescue with full awareness of the source of the greatest curse. And he pointed explicitly to the beast that stood before him. Not to mention, of course, all that road you've traveled so far, full of dangers and mysteries.

Ivy smiled at the blond man, strangely touched.

- Oh no, it's a pleasure.

Ivy contemplated her wounds and turned back to Zion, full of rage.

- When you explicitly told me that you would solve this problem in your own way, I still had the conviction and hope that you wouldn't do it, or at least that you wouldn't go overboard. But what I see here is nothing but sickening cruelty and a total loss of control over the powers that have been bequeathed to you.

Ivy shook her head, spitting out everything in her heart.

- You're a coward!

- Excuse me?

- You heard me very well. You are a coward. You know very well that the doctor would not be able to defend himself on your territory and you took full advantage of that. You only go after those you are sure to beat.

When Ivy finally calmed down, Zion, though wearing a neutral expression, raised his eyebrows before looking up to the sky with his hands.

- Really! What kind of crap can you not hear even in your own Empire! And Kleb defined you as a deep and valuable being, when what is really there is not much inside, except ignorance and the deplorable feeling of those who always think they are better than others what is good.

His coldness was abominable and hurt the woman terribly. The icy eyes passed through Ivy's wonderfully slender body.

- What a splendid body, fortunately, since if you look closely, you have nothing else. That's why I despise the weak so much.

- You are the one who is weak, Zion! answered Kreiz with anger. It is for this and so many other despicable things that you dare not show yourself in your original form.

Ivy frowned uncomprehendingly, and looked at the two enemies in turn.

- What are you talking about? Zion, I require an answer ?
