5 Herrscher of the Void

All that was heard after Apollo's death was the last slap of thunder hitting the ground and the deathly cackling of Alexander. He was now a new person and it looked like at this point no one could touch him. Alexander's cackling died down as his vision caught a glimpse of a person running towards his direction. The black-eyed Alexander looked at the person and a smirk soon was etched on his haunting features. He slowly started to descend back to the ground and as his feet touched the land, a light shake was felt. He fixated his vision to the person that was running to where he was with hundreds of armored men.

Kaval was breathing hard and had his fair share of cuts and blood stained. He was tired from fighting and that was very evident to Alexander whose gaze looked so unfazed and unbothered by their presence. Kaval stopped on his tracks as soon as he saw his former friend. The thought of that saddened him truly, with them now being enemies.

But what caught him off-guard was how Alexander looked. He looked like he wasn't hurt or hasn't been fighting at all. He heard from Apollo before he set off to follow Alexander that the latter was beyond useless. But what Apollo said was the exact opposite of how Alexander looked. He was dressed in a battle-suit it seems. It's fabric was pitch black but there were certain sparkles as if the stars dusted what Alexander wore. As Kaval analyzed even more, he immediately knew something was wrong. He knew how Alexander looked like, he saw him fighting with the now dead King Archemidius. This is not how he looked like and his assumption that something was amiss was confirmed when he saw Alexander with his dark orbs.

His chest and shoulders were exposed showing foreign symbols and it looked like a black gem was etched on the middle of his chest. His arms and exposed legs had strange lines and form of markings on them and all of these lines seems to meet where the black gem was. A sparkling black earing was seen dangling on Alexander's ears just as how his eyes were defined with gold shadowing, the only thing that was not black in what Alexander wore.

"Well it seems that our information was incorrect." Kaval mustered after looking at Alexander. He won't admit it but he was actually feeling chills and he doesn't know why.

"How so?" Kaval's eyes widened as he heard how Alexander sound.

"What happened to him? He should be-" Kaval spoke in his mind but was immediately interrupted.

"I should be what? Hmm?" Alexander spoke nonchalantly.

The death of silence soon covered every inch of Kavals' body. Wide eyes he looked at Alexander who was walking towards him like a predator that could end him there and then.

"Take another step forward and you'll see your end!" One of Kaval's comarade spoke but Alexander only looked at the person with a blank face. He soon smiled wickedly, a smile that made everyone shiver.

"Like this?" Alexander pointed his hands to the person and black shards appeared out of nowhere, all of which were pointed to that person's neck. Everyone stilled for as they felt that every move they'll take will take them to their end.

Kaval, though intimidated took things into his hand and destroyed the shards with his fire. He motioned his men to move back as he stood in front of Alexander who continued to walk towards him.

"You. What are you." Kaval spoke with such spite laced with his voice. He could not believe such joke. He felt like he was being played by someone who was supposed to be no more than him.

"You'll have to go against me to find out." Alexander spoke and before Kaval knew it, his life was already on the line as a huge sword appeared above him. He immediately dodged and formed his protective barrier which was broken immediately. He was taken back but soon regained his stance and summoned his claymore which was embedded with deathly fire.

With every anger in him, he charged towards Alexander who smirked at the sight of Kaval. The other looked so weak and fragile. Kaval went straight aiming for Alexanders' head but as soon as he got to where Alexander was, he disappeared.

"You're awfully slow." He heard someone spoke behind him. Alexander kicked Kaval sending him to the boulder near them. Blood stained Kaval's lips as he groaned from the pain of his bones being broken. Though pain was starting to strain him, he still grabbed his claymore and flew to where Alexander was and this time he made sure that he would hit him and he did.

Alexander was thrown all over the place, his skin getting burned by Kaval's fiery claymore that slandered him. Or so the other thought. Kaval continued to swing his weapon but a few moments had pass, his arms felt light. He took a moment to look at his weapon and found almost nothing. All that was left was the handle and everything else already became one with the ground.

He looked at Alexander hoping to find the other heavily injured but to his utmost disappointment, Alexander was still standing but blood stained every part of him which made Kaval assume that Alexander was just faking it.

"How weak." Alexander opened his hand and a glowing black orb appered on top of his palm. A bunch of bloody piece of meat started to gather at the center. The sight made Kaval wonder as to what was Alexander up to now. His look of confusion soon turned into a look of fear and disbelief.

The bloody pieces of meat started to form into a person and the sight of it morphing made everyone else puked. With a single tear falling from Kaval's eye and with his trembling hand, he came to recognise a friend.

"I know you know him Kaval. Too bad, he's mine now." Alexander cackled evily as he saw how mortified Kaval look.

"Fight him." Alexander commanded Apollo who was now merely a pawn of the undead. Blood was dripping from every part of his body. Apollo smirked wickedly and went straight to fight Kaval who was too stunned to do anything.

"A-Apollo. What happened!!?" Kaval screamed as he defended himself from the now different Apollo who looked at him as if they never shared any memory together. Apollo was still the same but also different.

Nothing came out from Apollo's mouth as his task was to only kill his old friend.

"What did you do to him?!!" Kaval wailed, tears flooding his eyes as he tried his best not to lay a hand on Apollo.

Alexander snapped his finger and Apollo immediately stopped attacking Kaval. The next thing Kaval knew, Apollo was standing beside Alexander.

"W-What did you do to him Alexander?!" He asked again in despair.

"Like my surprise Kaval?" Alexander smirked and teleported in front of Kaval. He held Kaval's head with his hand and spoke;

"Want to know what happened? I'll let you peek. May it be your nightmare." Alexander whispered to the gawking Kaval. The scene went into his head and after a while only a screaming Kaval was heared as Alexander looked down upon him.

Everyone else that was there to witness still could not believe how wicked Alexander had become, especially Nate and Elevi who no longer know if it was still the same person they fought for or another entity.

"You are an enemy of mine now, but I won't kill you. Not now, I need someone to spread this, all of this." Alexander spoke as he gestured all of what was around them. Chaos and death.

"But the same case won't apply to your men who killed mine." Alexander spoke yet again. Fear surged in every men that was on Kaval's side. Before even Kaval could speak, Alexander retreated into a portal dragging Nate, Apollo and Elevi with him. His grim glare said more than enough to Kaval. As the three disappeared, the portal shrank into a small dot in the air before exploding, slashing everyone except Kaval who was bathed by the blood of his comrades.
