259 Insurance is Important for even Dark Lords

"Do you think he survived?" Asked Tom with a frown as he watched the dust settle.

"Don't say such words young Padawan. You will jinx it," replied Voldemort calmly as he brandished his wand still on guard.

"An old man who is consumed by his fear of fate. How worthless did I become."

"Maybe if you died to a baby then you would share the same amount of caution towards fate as me."

"How the hell did you even die to a baby?"

"Ancient magic. Love."

"Oh god that is so stupid and hilarious. I wouldn't have made that mistake if I were the one to kill Harry Potter."

"Don't boast. You and I are literally the same soul."

"I have a bigger portion."

"If it weren't necessary for you to remain alive, I would kill your right here and now."

Suddenly, a slightly annoyed voice called out to Voldemort and Tom. "Why don't you do me a favor and off each other out? I'll take on the one who survives."

Darkness gathered to form a black figure which eventually formed into Arth with Corvus on his shoulder.

"I really do hate that bird of yours," said Voldemort with a click of his tongue. "It's like Dumbledore's Phoenix but smaller and harder to catch. It will be way easier to kill however."

"Come kill him if you can." Sneered Arth. "Touch a single feather of his and I'll show you a fraction of the wrath and despair I felt when they removed turkey legs from the menu-"

Arth paused for a moment as he nearly broke out into a sob.

He had still yet to recover from the horrible event. Perhaps it would permanently remain as a ptsd.

"Tch," said Tom with a frown. "We are gonna get nowhere."

"I wanted to hurry up and end this fight so I could go and prepare to kidnap and destroy Harry Potter but it seems like that plan will be slightly delayed." Said Voldemort.

"I've always hated birds. First Dunbledore's Phoenix now a stupid crow."

"It's a raven, actually."

"I'll rave-in my nuts into your mouth if you don't shut the fuck up about animals. First the basilisk and now everything else. Merlin's beard they are only dumb creatures."

"A dumb creature just owned your ass."

"Enough bickering," said Voldemort as he swirled his hands in a showy manner. "It's time to bring out our insurance plan."

"Hehe," said Tom with a smirk. "We win for sure now."

"Narcissa. Bring me my guests."

A dark figure nodded and disappeared before reappearing with two figures with bags over their heads. Arth felt a horrible sensation arise in him.

"Who are they?" He asked with a deep and ugly scowl.

Tom smirked as he walked behind the two people.

"Say hello to mommy and daddy, Arthur."

With a dramatic swoosh, the bags were torn off revealing his mother and father.
