2 The Emerald Forest

They kept on walking. They had nothing to say. The emerald forest is as spooky as its sounds. Maybe sunlight is also forbidden in the forest. The trees are so tall. It seem like they are already touching the clouds.

All they can hear are birds and the howling of the winds. Or is it birds? Maybe it isn't. There were frogs croaking everywhere. The wind was thick. George and Gord's feeling isn't that good. And Gord is ready to attack.

George look at him and smiled. "Are you scared?"

"Hmm?" The butler is loosing his mind. He's thinking of the beast and the dragon and the witches. "How am I supposed to defeat those creatures?" He's speaking in his mind.

George laugh out loud. And it echoed throughout the forest.

"Keep your voice down. Someone might hear you" Gord put his hands on George's mouth.

"Wow. You are really scared my precious butler. Hahaha"

From the last word thatbl echoed comes after a very loud screaming from not too far.

"What it is?" The prince asked. And wait for the screaming again to know where the sound came from.

"Heeeeelp!" A voice of a man. Begging fo help. He looked terrified. Something is attacking him! Gord and George ran to where they believed the noise is from. And they were right. They saw a man. Looks like from his mid 30s. Naked and Covering his body with big leaves. They ran towards him. Gord give the man his jacket.

"Are you okay mister? What happened to you?" George help the man stand on his feet. The Man is looking at him. Then He recognized that it is the Prince! He immediately bow down.

"Your Highness! Oh. What.."

He was scared. He was looking left to right. Like looking for something. "What are you doing in such a place my Prince?"

"Hunting." He replied smiling. His calm voice seemed to ease the man's troubled mind.

"I..." The man scratched his head and sit down on the big root of an old tree. "I was robbed. I didn't even know what happened. I just remember smelling something so fragrant."

He explained.

"Fragrant? Hmmm. What kind of fragrance? A perfume? Something Delicious?" Gord is looking into the man's eyes. Is he telling the truth or is this some kind of a trap? Either way, I am prepared for amy attacks.

"A food. I smelled a delicious food!" He remembered! He was lost in the emerald forest for a couple of days. Amd he was so hungry. So hungry he will eat anything comes to his way. And when he found where the smell came from,

"Chaaack!"

Some one hit him hard from the back. And the next thing he knew he was naked lying there.

He looks like he's telling the truth. But Gord won't take any risk. It's the Prince's safety.

"It's time for hunting your highness. Mister here, will go on his way. And so are we."

"Ah. Yes. Ofcourse. Take care my man. We'll go ahead."

They left the man. He is still in shock. Maybe he's gonna be fine. He's a grown man.

"You think he's telling the truth? I think He is."

They were walking straight. As they go deeply in the forest, The ambiance seems more and more scarier. More trees. Much quieter. Darker. They didn't even know what time is it because for some reason, their pocket watches stopped.

"This is exciting"

The Prince is adventurous. He loves being to places he never seen before. He is a skilled swordsman. A trained fighter. Gord is the son of their captain Knight. That's why they do not worry much. Just this once. They don't know what's in this place. They don't know what's waiting for them.

They heard a water. A river! They ran where the river was.

"A river! Come on. Let's pas to hunting for now, I wanna go swimming. What do you think? Haha"

The prince ran fast. "He's so fast!"

"Wow" It's a beautiful view. A river. Plenty of plants beside it. They don't know what's the name. But they grow beautiful blue and purple flowers. The river is so clear. They could see the fishes swimming in it. The rocks were perfectly arranged like some professional landscaper was hired to fix it. It was a very fantastic gift of nature and they aren't going to waste it.

"Swim time!" They shouted, took off their clothes and ran into the river. Oh it was cold water. But it's so calming. They went to the center of the river and find a seat on the big rocks. They enjoyed the cold water and the beautiful nature. The prince love this than the cemented walls of the castle. or the huge windows or the huge doors.

"Ahh, I could used to this. The emerald foresr isn't really bad after all. I mean, there may be robbers but we don't have to worry about them. Right?"

The Prince was right. If there may be robbers, they wouldn't stand a chance against them. They were trained from the very skilled fighters from the palace. Who would dare to touch them?

Hours passed and it's almost night. They could say because it's beginning to get darker than ever.

"Gorrrrrd!!"

Their clothes are gone! They were robbed! All clothes are gone!
