Bella shut the door immediately after she walked into her bedroom and raised her hand to her chest, which was beating rapidly. What was wrong with Dan? She wondered with a frown and then hurried to her bedside when she noticed the ring pouch on the floor beside her bed. 

She took the ring out of the pouch and slipped it on her thumb as she sat on the bed. What possible magical powers could the ring possess? She wondered as she took out her phone to search the internet if she could get any clues. 

After browsing through the web for a long time, she turned off the light and lay down on her bed, thinking about the possible magical powers the ring could possess until she dozed off a few minutes later.
