1 The End

The entire solar system was in complete ruins and the once overpopulated Earth was on it's last orbit. The other seven planets had been reduced to a rubble of asteroids floating in the never ending space.

Even the once prideful sun was pulsating, with intense heat waves exploding out, clearly indicating that it was nearing the end of it's lifespan.

Humanity had long since abandoned Earth. Before the galactic invasion began, humans had already discovered a new solar system with a habitable planet alongside several other planets that possessed unique resources Humanity desperately needed.

They named the solar system Paradise and the habitable planet New Haven.

Thus the invasion was merely the push humans needed to abandon Earth.

Earth may have been abandoned but it didn't mean that all humans were sent to New Haven. Some unfortunate ones ,the dregs of society so to speak, were abandoned alongside the planet.

Left behind on a half destroyed planet, these people could only patiently wait for their death

Five years later....

In the midst of the rubble, where Jupiter used to be, a huge black hole opened up and surprisingly generated a repulsive force that swept away all the asteroids in it's path.

From the black hole came an enormous triangular shaped spaceship that looked sleek and dark without the usual flashy lights. Even with all the technological advancements now, anyone could tell at a single glance that this ship was completely out of this world. It possessed the same repulsive force as the black hole causing every asteroid that wandered close to it to be knocked back

Immediately it emerged, the black hole closed up

In the cockpit of the mysterious ship, surrounded by weird never seen before technological gadgets sat an ancient wizened old man. His long silvery hair and beard along with his extremely wrinkled face spoke volumes of his age. Even his countenance oozed an aura of profoundness. From where he sat, the old man stared at the pulsating sun with unusually bright eyes but inside those deep azure eyes, a tinge of sadness could be seen.

"Finally, the last stellar nucleus I need to complete my work".

The old man's deep voice resonated in the the cockpit as he stared with complicated eyes.

"But alas I fear I might not live to test out my greatest masterpiece"

The ancient man shook his head sadly

Beep!

The single beep which rang out caused the ancient man's body to tremble slightly as he turned to stare at his radar with eyes full of shock. On the radar, a single worn out planet could be seen.

Earth

"Heavens, someone can actually survive on this God forsaken planet, and of a lower species too"

The ancient man's eyes were wide open in shock as he muttered

"Could it be... impossible!!"

For some reason the ancient man began trembling with excitement and looking quite pleased he issued an order to the ship.

"Set a course to test planet E2471. Find this person"

Earth, Apocalyptic Desert Zone...

A scrawny scraggy little boy fainted while holding the thin arms of a dead woman half buried in the desert sand. Judging from his structure, he looked not more than three but the condition of his body was far more than even a middle aged man in his prime could handle so how this kid was still alive was a complete mystery.

The intense heat waves from the sun had already burnt his skin black and added to his skinny frame, he looked like an extremely sick underage lich summoned by a pathetic low end necromancer.

There was a flash of light in the sky before a huge space ship towered over the desert, casting a huge triangular shadow on it. A beam of light shot out from the ship to hit the boy and a second later disappeared with him in tow. Then the space ship disappeared plunging the desert back into the furnace.

The ship reappeared again, this time at close proximity to the sun and without even pausing, it dove headfirst right into the flames.

A minute later, the blazing light of the sun disappeared plunging the ruined solar system into an abyss of darkness

In a highly equipped and brightly lit room of the ship, the boy lay unconscious in a weird capsule engraved with runes with several tubes attached to him at different places. If anyone were to see the state of the boy currently, they would definitely have prostrated before the ancient man and called him god.

The boy no longer looked like the scrawny boy he was before, instead he looked completely nourished and a bit fat even with a healthy flush on his cheeks. His skin had also been restored to a healthy looking jade that would make women jealous. The ancient man towered over him watching him carefully with a pulsating black cube in hand.

Gently, he lowered the cube and pressed it on the chest of the boy.

Surprisingly, the cube, which was clearly solid, seemed to melt and disappeared into the boy's chest.

As he did so, the ancient man muttered;

"Young one , this is my greatest work I'm giving to you. Just remember to fulfill this old man's last wish"

At that time the ship was on a new course, it's destination being

Planet New Haven
