When humans first landed on Planet New Haven, they were shocked senseless at their findings. The ships they had arrived in all stopped working immediately they entered the planet's atmosphere, and if not for the previous intense safety precautions put in place, perhaps the entire race would have been wiped out.
Not only did they discover that all their technology failed to work on this planet, but there was also the fact that everything on this planet was completely new to them so it took several years for humans to begin to adapt to this planet. So
There were no continental divisions on planet New Haven, so the concept of countries and governments were abandoned. Rather, the old regal system was adopted and various kingdoms were established which took in citizens irrespective of their previous nationalities.
After years of research, scientists finally deduced that planet New Haven contained a different type of energy resource that prevented all their previous technology from working. They named it the primordial agent and runic technology was developed to harness this new type of energy. From there technology bloomed

Captain Omega, in his usual burly silver knight
armour, ripped apart an enormous scaled xenogeneic lizard with brute strength, ending the life of a terrifying monster with mere strength. At his side was a stunning voluptuous figure of a woman bathed in red flames. Red sun was equally, if not more brutal than captain Omega in dealing with the hundreds of xenogeneic monsters that surrounded them.
Every unfortunate monster that found itself close to her was burnt crisp black before it even had a chance to flee.
High above them, way in the clouds was a man shrouded by lightning. Like a true god of lightning, bolts after bolts after bolts of lightning shot out from him zapping holes through countries monsters. I'm mere minutes, hundreds of xenogeneic monsters capable of toppling an entire city were obliterated by those three alone.
This was where the holographic video ended. Allan, a cold faced elegant youth, lay comfortable in a couch staring at the frozen holographic figure of Red Sun projected but a bracelet on his wrist with a strange glint in his eyes. He was no pervert, no, but the fact was that even though other might not know, he knew who she was, and she likewise. Their relationship was enough for them to call themselves best friends some time ago. Of course that was until she had awakened her flame ability and joined the Star Guild
The strange look in his eyes was only there because today was his twentieth birthday and because they both shared the same birthdate, he was wandering if she'd still remember him.
After she was one of his few friends back at the orphanage where he grew up. If she didn't though, protecting New Haven from continuous attacks of xenogenetics and mutated beasts was no easy feat and it was normal to get caught up with it. He could only blame himself for his incapability of awakening any ability to help out with.
Ability awakening began a few years after humans had settled on New Haven. Once again they were given a big surprise by the primordial agent. With the aid of this mysterious energy, some humans were able to unlock their full brain capacity granting them special abilities while it tampered and strengthened the bodies of others.
Overall the treatment given to awakeneds with special abilities in kingdoms was that of nobles while awakeneds with tampered bodies were treated better than the common people but less than those with special abilities. Sighing softy, Allan was just about to rise up from the couch when a sharp pain pierced through his brain causing him to lose consciousness on the spot. Out of nowhere, a mechanical voice resonated;
