Cultivation Realms
As of the beginning of the story, most these realms functionally do not exist. Since this is a honghuang tale in a somewhat similar vein as spiritual attainments of Minghe, where all the important characters are super ancient immortals with substantial supernatural power and understanding into the Dao, realms below Golden Immortal realm are mostly here for fluff rather than a necessary part of the story. This is because the story is not about the typical arduous journey of starting from a bullied mortal kid in the lowest possible realm.
Mortal stages
All realms here constitutes a person who's made up of the five elements and has yet to transcend the Immortal Tribulation. Limited in lifespan. Most supreme beings consider these realms to be foundation building realms.

Immortal stages
At these realms, a person is now no longer made up of earthly elements and become celestial in nature. Lifespan expands towards the utmost limit of what a soul can last, a single yuanhui or in other words a cosmic year. Within the Chinese based cultivation world, this timespan is defined as 129600 years. At this stage a cultivator begins to sense and master Dao laws that controls various functions of the universe.

Using the power from mastering Dao laws, a True Immortal fuses one of the 5 element qi(derived from the 5 elements which are foundational building blocks of life) and advances to Profound Immortal. A profound Immortal fuses all 5 into themselves to become Heavenly Immortal. A Heavenly Immortal forges the 3 splendours, or 3 flower crowns.
Advanced Immortals
A Heavenly Immortal breaks out of the shackles of reincarnation and the universe/Chaos World they're from by ripping their true soul out of the river of time and absorbing it. They become Golden Immortals, the weakest kind of expert to be able to exist comfortably in the Chaos Sea, the great expanse which houses all existence. Every realm from this point onwards have limitless lifespan.
Golden Immortals
By fully understanding who they themselves are as a person and achieving a sort of harmony within themselves, they can form the primal unity of yin and yang. This creates the primal unity and promotes them to the next realm. Since this process is relatively easy to do, Golden Immortals don't normally stay Golden Immortals for long.
Great Unity Golden Immortal
With the unity complete, a cultivator will begin seeking their own Dao and forge their own path. The Dao is the path and a cultivator is tasked with trying to define the path using their own understanding into the cosmos. You could say comprehending Dao laws as an immortal was training for this. As a Dao path becomes more and more defined, a cosmic tree sprouts from the primal unity base. A fully grown tree will begin bud a fruit which will be the true birth of the Dao path.
Chaos Immortal
The highest form of existence below full enlightenment. Divided into 4 sub stages where the difference in power is so large they all qualify as separate realms even if they're all functionally the same type of existence. To be a Chaos Immortal is to be a real expert and an apex existence.
Great Principle – The most basic form of Chaos Immortal with a Dao fruit.
Primal Origin – A Chaos Immortal whose Dao fruit formed defined aberrations denoting uniqueness.
Primal Zenith – A top Chaos Immortal whose worked out all the ins and outs of their Dao
Limitless Supreme
A Limitless Supreme Chaos Immortal chases the Wuji(limitless) principle and seeks to comprehend how their Dao can give rise to all things in existence. Their Dao has to already be on the way to achieving this state which will near the final blooming process called "Dao birth". In which one Dao gives rise to many just as the Grand Dao did to create the Chaos Sea, also known as the multiverse eons ago.
